    Tom yum and bone broth

Everyone was super nice. It's okay for a late night thing if everything else is closed. The meat was okay, veggie was mid omg the mushroom was actually so sad. But it's 10% off after 10 if you like to eat late

Another great AYCE hotpot place in Allston! I came here for dinner with a friend on a Thursday night. We sat at the smaller side of the restaurant that quickly got filled for dinner service. There's a basket to keep your jackets and bags from smelling of hotpot. We got 2 broths - Chinese herbal & beef bone. We ordered a bunch of dishes from beef, lamb, pork, seafood, veggies, and dumplings. There is a small area to get your sauces and an ice cream cooler right next to it. It was easy to order and we got all of our items quickly. The menu has the cooking time for all the food from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Some of the vegetables were a little yellow, but we ripped them off before cooking them. The chewy sweet potato noodles are my favorite and they soak up all the good broth flavoring. Overall, a great place to grab dinner and they have long tables to accommodate large groups!

I really liked the interior of the entire restaurant as it's very historically Chinese oriented. They had like clothing hampers next to each table, but we weren't sure what they were for. Perhaps it's for putting your jacket in so that it doesn't smell like hotpot? All you can eat was about $45 per person outside of lunch hours, which to me is pretty expensive. Both broths were really good. The Mala one we got was mild, but boy was it spicy. Spicier than the Lamei medium spicy broth. I loved the texture of the potato noodle when it was done cooking. Soft and chewy, but also melts in your mouth. I tried making mala sauce the way they recommended and it tasted pretty good. Very sesame flavored. We both got the watermelon smoothie and it was sooooooo good. Refreshing just like eating a slice of watermelon but a tad bit sweeter. They had ice cream bars too, but we were too full to eat it. Overall really good!

Hooray for AYCE hot pot with unlimited popsicle self service. I probably don't get my money's worth eating a bunch of vegetables and ice cream but it's okay - it's probably a win win for the shop and for me. But if you love to indulge in meats and seafood this is the place for you - there are many options available for this, and if you're a vegetarian you could always opt for tofu and or a diverse array of different leaves and carbs. The ambience looks pretty standard for a hotpot joint but that's how you know you're in the right place. Additionally our server was exceptionally attentive and we got everything we ordered quickly within our 90min frame.

We've been coming here for a while, and it's always a great experience. The staff works fast; dishes come out quickly, and tables are cleared right away. They've thought of the details too: baskets for your stuff, aprons if you're worried about splashes, and a huge DIY sauce bar. The decor leans into an imperial Chinese style filled with dragons, paintings, and a bold atmosphere that fits the hotpot vibe. DLY is a bit pricier for hotpot, but the quality makes up for it. You're getting meats and seafood, with all-you-can-eat abalone and fresh shrimp. My only wish? A MSG-free soup option. Luckily, the desserts and creamsicles at the end make for a sweet finish.

It's a really good Hot Pot restaurant. The soup in particular is some of the best in the area. Mala Beef Tallow is pretty spice and you can choice the spice level: 10% to 150%. I was at my limits at 50%. The mushroom broth is some of the best mushroom broth we had in Massachusetts and it is very mushroom forward. There is abalone in the all you can eat option. My recommendation is that you really don't have to pay for a la cart that cost additional and save room for dessert. The restaurant is fancy looking and the staff is attentive.

I got the AYCE here and I feel like there were such limited options for the price point. They ran out of a few things when we came. The herbal and Tom yum soup had good flavor but was a little too salty for my liking. They weren't busy on a Saturday night and there was no wait time. They do provide aprons when asked and have melona/haagen dazs ice cream bars

Service was super fast! We did AYCE and the food came out quickly and fresh. Everything was clean and delicious -- the tom yum broth was especially flavorful. Staff were friendly and attentive. I also loved the little extras like the self-serve pickled radish and peanuts, plus free ice cream at the end!"

Service was good, they didn't rush us near closing since we showed up around 10:30p at night post gym workout! So we found out (probably should have called and found out) but AYCE ends at 9:30pm. So it's al la carte until close. The decor and style was very much like another spot in Quincy Ma. We sat down on a 4 topper, chose our broth and each type flavor increases the price. The meats were fine and as you would expect, the milk beef was interesting presentation but didn't change the flavor. The meat however is tender so i would recommend that particular protein. We also got the beef tray of mixed hot pot beef and lamb. You also do pay for sauce bar for dipping but that's optional. We didn't notice it, but i believe it's been on a summertime price menu? So it may change. Also didn't notice that there was a 20% off post 10pm but I'm not 100% sure if we got that discount but it's alright. The servers were quick and super chill, we appreciated it and tried to finish up and leave so they could close up.

I wanted to try out a new hotpot place and came here on a weekday for dinner! I love their ayce menu! I couldn't believe that they had abalone in their ayce! The broths were also flavorful and not too salty. Their meat quality is also pretty good and fresh! We were definitely super full afterwards! They also have unlimited melona bars for dessert! They also have single pot servings if you don't want ayce or just want a quick meal by yourself! The servers are also nice and attentive! I'll definitely be coming back!

The staff were so pleasant and kind, they always checked in with us. We made a reservation for four people on a weekday night, and it wasn't too busy. You walk in, and the place feels inviting. The pork, beef, and lamb slices were favorites. The brown sugar rice cake appetizer was also very interesting to try - I've never had that at all you can eat hot pot before. They also had a nice alcohol and non-alcoholic selection of drinks. There's lots of hot pot options in Boston, but I think this one is worth a try if you're in the area.

    Marina O.

Great spot for hot pot! I went with a big group of friends, and we had an awesome time. They offer several options on their "all-you-can-eat" menu, and we chose two different broths to share. The service was excellent--right at the start, they provided us with bibs to protect our clothes, which was a thoughtful touch. We enjoyed a wide variety of meats and seafood, all fresh and delicious. For dessert, we tried two options: the sugar rice cake, which we loved, and the jelly ice cream, which was good but a bit unusual. It might just be an acquired taste! Overall, I highly recommend this place for a fun and satisfying hot pot experience.

Got to be one of my new summer hotpot places. From July-August they have an AYCE deal going and it is definitely worth it. The meat quality is great, the seafood quality is amazing (peeled shrimp AND abalone) and to top it all off, unlimited melona ice cream bars. The service was friendly and the interior is small but very classy. Highly recommend calling for a reservation or going right when it opens as it does get very long.

We came when it was all you can eat meat which was perfect for a large group. Dipping sauce station was also great and then the drink variety was delicious as well. Overall, this was a delicious option for hotpot in the Chinatown area. I don't think I would come if it were a la carte for every item, but for all you can eat meat, it was great!

The hostess provided a plastic covering for my purse and explained that the smell from the hotpot can cling to fabric. I genuinely appreciated that level of thoughtfulness. She also took time to explain the specials and suggested ordering a combo since it would cost less, which felt honest rather than sales-driven. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the toppings bar had so many options that you can really customize your experience. I went solo this time but this is definitely the kind of place that would be perfect for groups. What truly stood out to me, though, was the service. I accidentally threw something important away before leaving and didn't realize until I was gone. When I called they looked through the trash but couldn't find it.They allowed me to come back and search through the trash and even provided gloves. That level of patience and kindness is rare and meant a lot. Between the fresh food, helpful staff, and exceptional service, this was a 10/10 experience. I would absolutely recommend.

To find a good place to go and Happy Lamb for the bill. We arrived early, doors still closed but the vestibule was available for us to sit while waiting. In the vestibule they have their menu posted so we browsed while waiting and had decided on what we wanted. Doors open and immediately sat at a table with flat burners. Decor is Asian themed with plenty of seating. Space is well utilized. Menu given and order taken. Once the hot soup portion was done and our protein picked out off to the buffet portion of this experience. They have three large shelves coolers with multiple shelves filled with veggies, noodles, and fish to add to your hot pot experience. They also offered hot apps and fried rice. Our two broths in one pot arrived and the fun began. Different flavor combinations as well as texture. My husband had a little bit of a hard time because we were given two spoons for both broths. I had the slotted one and he had the regular spoon so he had a hard time fishing out his add ons. Once we realized this was an issue we were given more spoons. Service was great, clarified items for us and was there when ever we needed. We made the mistake of reading too fast and thought we ordered beef tongue when it was beef TRIPE! It was gray and not appetizing. Tasted it and it wasn't bad. We really enjoyed and will be back.

We weren't made aware of this when we came in, but not a big deal. We asked if the 90 minutes was to order or to leave, and the staff said to order. We then placed a final order and they took it. 10 mins later, a waitress comes by and abruptly says our time is up, we can't finish our food because there are other people waiting for tables, and starts clearing our plates and dumping everything into the broth pot. The 2 plates of beef and fish they just brought out went straight into the pile, wasted. Why take the order if you'll give us 2 mins from when you give it to us to cook and swallow everything? We were just shocked more than anything, and left with a bad taste in our mouths. The worst parts were we realized the family sitting next to us were there before us and still there when we basically got kicked out. Second, the staff lied because there was no line outside and 3-4 large tables open as we were leaving. Truly a disappointing experience - will not be going back to this location.

We did get the wrong sushi roll, unsure if they misheard us or if they thought we pointed to a different one but I'm glad they did because the Thunder Roll was delicious.
