It's interesting the places I go frequently and never think to review. This is my favorite Vietnamese place in the area, even though it's a little off the beaten path for me. It's a little shop in a complex off 19th ave and just pretty basic, but this is what I feel like Vietnamese-food should be rather than some of the overpriced or trendy places. I use pho as a reason for everything. It's my sick food, home sick food, hang over cure... or maybe just because I love it. I usually order way too much but the prices are so good here. I love the combination pho (love that they offer tripe in it as a lot of places I've learned don't... which doesn't mean combo to me). I also love the banh xeo crepe. The spring rolls with shrimp. The egg rolls are also very good I just prefer my step moms over anyones if I'm being honest. The pork chop plate with the egg loaf. Honestly I have no idea what this egg loaf really is... but I don't care. I love them! They usually have little desserts in the cooler or on a table so I'll sometimes grab those as well. I love coming here. The food is good, the price point is great and most of all-- they're open at like 8:30am and I love pho for breakfast! read more

Vietnamese heaven! We drive for miles to go here. Love their Pho, of course, but their lemongrass chicken or beef are packed full of fresh flavor. The vermicelli is so good on a hot day. Great prices and huge portions. Luv luv luv The service is so good it's surprising because they're always swamped, but they handle it with grace and speed. Pho Thanh is my go-to spot for Vietnamese in Phoenix. Everyone is incredibly friendly and the food always shows up fresh and fast.

I have been here many times and it is by far, the best Vietnamese restaurant in Arizona. It is very inexpensive for the quantity of the food that you receive and the quality of it. You cannot go wrong with ordering the shrimp or BBQ pork spring rolls. They are fresh and well put together. Perfect appetizer to start with here. The Bun / Vermicelli is an 11/10. The #36 comes with an Egg Roll, peanuts, lettuce, BBQ pork, and rice noodles. It is a lot of food that will fill you up and is served with fish sauce/vinegar. Sriracha and Hoisin are good sauces to add on. It is less than $10 which is hard to find at places these days. Highly recommend eating here. This is hands down, the best Vietnamese restaurant in AZ. I really enjoyed my BBH. They have actual shrimp paste.. I've been to a few Vietnamese restaurant around here and have asked for it and they don't have it. I need my shrimp paste when I'm eating BBH or Bun Rue. My waiters was great but I didn't care for the guy who is the cashier. Don't get me wrong, he was friendly to me at checkout but I notice he's kind of rude to either a Uber driver or customer while I was waiting for my food to come out. I got the dessert to go and I finally ate it today because I forgot I had them in the fridge. It still taste fresh and good. read more

Simply put: thee best pho restaurant in Phoenix! With quick service and delicious food, this place is one my favorite spots for a hearty meal. Located near the blade of Phoenix, this hole in the wall has some of the most delectable pho. My two personal favorites are the oxtail pho and the beef rib pho. The broth is always well seasoned and packed with savory, delectable umami flavors. Together with the rich oxtail or beef rib fat, there is a guaranteed party in your mouth with each spoonful! This place is the real deal. Before this visit, I had never had the opportunity to try the delicious beef rib pho. This place had it! They were pretty busy on a Tuesday night, which is always a good sign. I ordered the beef rib pho and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of beef rib that was provided. Wow! This is a quiet little hole-in-the-wall with amazing food and funny little quirks which make it incredibly pleasant. Case in point: our kid got a water with a lid. The waiter recommended egg rolls with the sandwich, which was perfect. The sandwich isn't so full that it becomes a jenga game to hold and eat. I came to Da Vang on a late Sunday morning and it totally hit the spot. By the time we left, there wasn't an open table left. For just about $8, I had a massive bowl of delicious chicken pho that had me full for hours. I find that sometimes Vietnamese restaurants can be stingy with the sprouts/mint/basil, but Da Vang's serving size was great. Service was about on par with other pho restaurants I've been to, with informal service in a very casual setting. I literally cried when I was inside. This place is amazing! I had pho tai, eggrolls, and banh mi. They were all delicious and incredible. The pho broth is mild, yet rich. The eggroll came with the marinated fish sauce and pickled carrots inside, along with fresh mint and lettuce. This is how eggroll should be served with all these little complimentary items, which some places tend to neglect. The banh mi is amazing. It came with sliced pork ham, onions, jelepeno, pickled carrots, and pate. The resturant is very easy to miss when you're diving on a big road. There is a little sign, and I barely even notice it. I highly recommend having your GPS on and drive carefully. This restaurant is located on a very busy road with a ton of businesses. Stay alert, yall! The interior is very lively. There was a lot of people, enjoying their amazing meals. This place is quite big and can accommodate large party easily. The server is quick to work with you. The cashier is also quick to give you the bill. I believe you have to get up to the cashier counter and pay for your bill. The price is extremely competitive. While banh mi places cost nearly 8 dollars, this restaurant slaughter them with just $4-5. While pho places cost nearly 11 dollars, this resturant slaughter them all with just $7-8 dollars. You are receiving exceptional value for their food. This place will remain competitive with their large resturant to accommodate patrons, serving high volume customers at a exceptional value. One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Arizona! Food here tastes so good and the price is super AFFORDABLE! I don't know what else I need to add more to make you wanna try this place out. This isn't a fancy place but I love eating here. It is just that I feel so comfortable eating here and I've never paid more than 25 including the tips for two entrees and two drinks. Awesome! Oh and I have a little tip for you, usually regular sized soy milk and thai tea cost 2.50 or something, but if you pay a dollar? more, you get an extra (I mean it! It's a huge cup) large sized drink. This location is close to work. The co-workers and I stop by for lunch. Typical rush as expected so plan accordingly. I have been coming here for years and I am not sure why I have not left a review. Food is great from their location we have tried the pho, vermicelli, egg rolls, spring rolls, fried rices, and banh mi's. My go to order is the chicken pho with veggies; your bowl is service full of chicken, noodles, veggies and to the top, portions are huge. Aside from it being lunch rush hour, the food was amazing. It speaks for itself when you walk in and if you're not in on time, you'll have to wait by putting your name down on a list. Guess I shouldn't be surprised since the food is so good! - Spring rolls (#48) are super fresh - Banh Xeo (#54) is stuffed with beansprouts, a few pieces of shrimp, and some pork. It's awesome wrapped with fresh mint and crisp lettuce - BBQ Pork Banh Mi sandwich (#75) was another winner. I was informed that this restaurant serves up some of the best Pho in town. I easily believed this when I arrived and saw a line of people outside in the cold waiting to be seated. I tried the shrimp and pork spring roll and the brisket Pho. Both were very tasty. My favorite part of the Pho was the broth. I normally eat up all the meat, noodles, and other fillings, but in this scenario I ate more of the broth. If you are in the mood for Pho, this place is worth checking out. read more

As basic as I get, I love pho and typically only gets pho. Da Vang has one of the best pho in the valley in my opinion. The broth is rich and flavorful. The meat and noddles are decently portioned. The meat is tender and the cuts are good quality. The egg rolls are nice and crispy and the filling are flavorful. The spring rolls were fresh but I could use some more sauce, probably because I dunk the whole thing in. The staff is nice and friendly. Some has trouble with English but that's when you know the food is good, you know? I will wholeheartedly accept and respect that anytime. Same thing as any restaurant that has a grandma as the cook, count me in. I definitely recommend Da Vang 100%. read more

My family and I have been coming here for almost 15 years and it's a staple of our diet! Every time I'm home to visit, coming here is mandatory. My mom would get out from her late night shifts at the hospital to have pho for breakfast. Over the years we've expanded to their other menu items - their egg rolls are perfectly crispy and highly recommend eating wrapped in lettuce. The spring rolls are perfectly wrapped and stuffed with shrimp, pork, and noodles. The pepper beef is delicious and I can't help but make lettuce wrap bites with them. Five stars for the food. I got a pork bbq rice plate (see pic below), and noodles with bbq. I'm rating this restaurant a three because of the service. I asked for egg roll and jasmine tea during two separate instances but it never got to us. The lady was getting our order, and we said we weren't ready yet but she just stood there waiting for us which felt weird, which rushed us to picking our order. The food is great though, as well as the price so I will definitely be back. Hopefully next time there's better service so I can update my review! :-) read more

Anytime I am feeling sick or just want comfort soup, I come here for pho! I love their egg rolls number 50, they are crunchy and the shrimp is fresh. I also always get 2B, which is pho with beef and meatballs or just the beef. Sometimes I get the pho with chicken. Either way their service is quick and very attentive. I give them a 5 just because I am a fan of the pho and the service and I've been coming here for a year or so. I will say that in the past 3 months there has been 2 mistakes with my order. The first time they fixed immediately, the second time I didn't even mention because it was pho and I really just wanted to eat it and it gave me a chance to try something new.
