I was thrilled to hear that they were opening this location because it's much closer than the one we frequented before. I've had the opportunity to come a few times already and although this location is smaller, their service leaves a big impact. One of the things I love is their app service. We order on the app and it's ready right when we pick it up. My go to is the marble. It's always perfect every time. I've recently tried the banana latte also which I was pleasantly surprised with. The staff here is great also. I missed them when the shop was closed for renovations recently but made sure to come back the day they opened. read more

I already left and I realized that I left my bag when I was in the meeting. Bag contains good amount of cash, credit cards and checks. I am a regular at this place! Unfortunately today I had a bad experience with the strawberry matcha. I always ask for extra strawberry which I pay for, but my drink was not cold it had very little ice. I went back to the counter and the girl rudely told me that it was due to the extra strawberry which doesn't make sense. She remade my drink but still wasn't good...I ended up throwing it away. They just opened this location so I feel like the rush of people coming in and out threw it off but when you think about it, that's great for business and we should celebrate that, so give grace. This was my first time trying Da Vien coffee in general so here's my honest review..they aren't much of a specialty coffee shop, they have you're matcha variations (banana for example) and a few variations of coffee. I got their vien coffee with cream and with an added shot which was very strong and not sweet at all. It honestly just tasted like a modified version of lees coffee. Overall, it wasn't my cup of coffee but I am wiling to come back and try them again to see if I Ike something else. They have two tech order stations so you don't have to order at the counter and they have a small seating area inside with maybe 7 tables. It's located in the heart of Cerritos right next to target. Tried Da Vien Coffee for the first time and it did not disappoint! I got the strawberry matcha and my sister got the banana matcha, both were super yummy and refreshing. There's usually a long line, but it moves quickly and is totally worth the wait. The staff was really friendly and helpful, answering all my questions with a smile. Finally stopped by today to figure out what everyone was raving about. The shop is somewhat small. I was a little intimidated by the amount of people but decided to get in line. I was excited to finally try this place since it's closer to me, than the Westminster location im used to going too! I'm pretty disappointed to order my favorite drink and see the light consistency of the ube cream in my iced coffee, when you're used to see the thickness of the ube cream in the iced coffee. My go-to order is always the coconut matcha with 30% sweetness and boba, so I'm already familiar with the taste. I'm not sure what happened with today's order, but what I received tasted like a watered-down drink. I could hardly taste the coconut, and there was very little boba. read more

Took advantage of their BOGO deal today, staff was very nice, but they were also very much overwhelmed by the the crowd that formed waiting for their drinks. The app is a nice perk, however, the company should look into making an update to it and giving an expectation of how long the wait could be on the app when ordering. When I ordered the app said that it would be ready in five minutes when realistically it was about 20 to 30 minutes. Again, the staff was very nice and frequently checked on customers orders. read more

My boyfriend and I have gone to Da Vien a couple of times and typically order their matcha. During one occasion, we both got sick but we went back because we thought that we should give it another shot since we have gone on other occasions and hadn't gotten sick. However, on Saturday, I stopped by Da Vien to grab a banana matcha with oat milk before work and got so sick I had to leave work early. I was miserable. My boyfriend got sick as well. I am not sure if they put whole milk in our drinks vs oat milk, if the oat milk just went bad or if it's just poor quality ingredients being used. Needless to say, we will not be returning. Wanted to love this place so bad but it's such a bummer that their matcha does not sit right with our stomachs - I've noticed other one star reviews of people having similar experiences. read more

The matcha was good but the one thing that ruined the experience was the staff. I had ordered light ice but when it came with cup fully filled with ice I kindly let it be known I asked for light ice the staff was annoyed didn't say anything and took the drink and then just left the drink on the counter. There was no apology for the mistake and the matcha came back with less ice but the drink was gone that was shocking they left the drink almost halfway. I came again and ordered no ice and the drink was also almost halfway. When I try to address any mistake or why this happens staff is always annoyed. I'm not trying to be rude or come off as mean but I don't play about my matcha especially if it's something that is being paid for it's rude. Coffee was pretty good however customer service wasn't the greatest. The cups are very flimsy so if you're ordering more than one drink I recommend you telling them to put it in a to go tray. Went in on a busy Saturday my entire coffee spilled everywhere and instead of the employees helping they just starred and made me feel uncomfortable. read more

New Da Vien coffee location! We love the coconut matcha and ube matcha latte here and the new location is super clean and has shorter wait times. We'd recommend ordering online on their app beforehand or the line on a Sunday afternoon wasn't bad at all just a 5-10 min wait to get your drink.
