It's good tea with a nice balance of creamer to tea to sugar, in an area that has at least ten other options for good milk tea. I do not hesitate to buy milk tea here after buying dinner next door or down the street; however, I cannot say that I would choose it over many of the outstanding options that are across the street or down the street. First visit. Here's my experience! Ordered the KF Honey Tea. Very slightly tasted honey and absolutely no tea taste. It tasted like water with a touch of honey. All for $6.99. I got 3 drinks from the limited Pokémon menu. The totodile was very sweet but had great flavors. The chikorita was unfortunately very foul. I took one sip and was completely disgusted. But I would say give them a try because depending on what you get, you might just like it better than the more popular ones. I never knew about this place until we were on the hunt for the Strawberry shortcake Collab and was surprised that there was a location super close to me. It is located in a shopping complex with tons of other businesses. Parking can be tough and the spaces are kind of small but I didn't have to hard of a time finding a place to park. Once you enter its a pretty tiny place with only a few tables to sit at but I assume most people take their orders to go as we did. The cashier was pretty friendly and answered any questions that we had. We came here to find the Strawberry Shortcake Collab which came in a special cup and had limited edition flavors. We had the Strawberry Shortcake Delight. The description listed it as a vibrant strawberry slush blended with fresh strawberries, topped with our new creamy matcha milk cap for the perfect balance of sweetness and earthiness. Now we came here for my wife as I'm not a big Boba or matcha fan but this was actually a pretty good flavor. It had the sweetness blended with the matcha and as described it was a perfect blend. So creamy and delicious! I tried the Oreo Wow Cap and wow, it's so good!! The boba is also super soft and chewy! Great flavor and the large is a pretty decent size for the price $7.80. I also got a separate drink as a surprise cup for an additional $6 on top of the price of the drink ordered. So happy to get Melody! So tempted to get another surprise cup to get the other Sanrio plushies! There are a few seats available inside and outside, but overall, it is a pretty small store, right space. They have a promo going on: buy two drinks and get a free BTS figure! The service is great and I didn't have to wait too long for my drink. I stopped going to Kung Fu tea for awhile but my husband always enjoyed their Kung fu milk tea. I don't remember what I used to get but I definitely have a favorite now. I love their milk cap! Winter melon is my favorite and I did enjoy their honey oolong milk tea also. I have not tried too many drinks other than those. My children love their Oreo wow and strawberry slush. Kung Fu Tea is located in a small strip mall surrounded by other restaurants and businesses; parking can be a struggle as the spots are tight. That's my only complaint about this place, but that isn't Kung Fu Tea's fault. The store is small, with perhaps 10 seats inside and three tables outside with two seats each. The moment you walk in though, the employees great you right away, and even if it's a bit slow, they stop what they are doing to ensure they can support you and help you in anyway possible. Their menu is a bit more robust than I am used to with other boba shops. Additionally, I love the fact that their menus notate what has caffeine and what doesn't, what type of toppings they have with images, and even list the sweetness options they can do. I ordered the KF Honey Tea with boba and was pleasantly surprised because it was so refreshing and light. The boba wasn't super sweet and was chewy. I've always wanted to try Kung Fu Tea since I saw Hilary Clinton drinking some on TV. But there wasn't one near me. I was bike riding with friends and we stopped here! I didn't even know there was one in Cerritos! When we entered, it was warm inside. AC was definitely not on. Kung Fu Tea is a well known and distributed brand, but this is my first time trying them out. Their menu is large, and covers many styles and flavor combos that other tea places do not offer. Overall I see their menu as being slightly sweeter, and the decor more targeted to younger people like students. I came later in the day, so rather than try my default Jasmine Green Milk Tea I instead selected the non-caffeinated Taro Slush in a large size. The cup size was large, although the $6.32 after tax cost seemed a bit higher than I thought it should be. The drink had a consistent purple color, and that paired with the lack of grittiness inside and sweetness makes me think an artificial taro powder was used. I asked for less/25% sweetness, and I don't know if this augmentation could be accomodated, but I thought it was borderline too sweet for my American palate, and it was certainly too sweet for an Asian palate. On a hot day it was cold and refreshing. Additionally there is a Yelp Check In for 10% off. If I was seeking a non-caffeinated beverage I would probably go south a few blocks to DD Mau. I do plan to return and try a tea, though I will note strong competition in the Artesia/Cerritos area. read more

So I don't know how to feel about this. So I send my son with an order, I'm parked in front of the Business and told him as soon as you pay come outside with my receipt and change and go back in. Tell ME why they allowed my son to walk out of the Business with no Receipt and No Change .. I'm assuming they thought he was alone ?he came to the car and said okay I placed the order. Okay so where is the receipt and my change. I gave him a $100 bill he said he didn't give one ,when I walked away.. not only did I tell at him to take his butt back into the business, but why did you not give my son his change. Customer change says $0.00 NO it should be $77.60. So the Sweet Manager explained how one computer is for ordering another one is for a receipt .. At first, it was overwhelming to pick 1 out of the many options offered. They were patient and luckily my daughter and I were the only ones at the time. They're quick to order and very helpful. My daughter must've changed her mind from Yakult to Hershey's to Yakult a few times lol! But overall, success! It looks like they are up to date on flavors and toppings. Kung Fu is one of my go to tea shops in the Cerritos area. Out of the bigger chains in the area, Kung Fu is definitely one of the top. This statement is based on the fact that their basic milk tea is really solid. The franchise in general is popular among my boba drinking friends. My go to is the their milk tea, but one of my favorite drinks that I enjoy from them and is unique to Kung Fu is their purple yam milk tea (not pictured). As an ube enthusiast, I was super excited for a drink with real yam and satisfaction of my ube milk cravings. I enjoy getting their drinks with their milk cap (their less salty alternative to cheese foam). One of the things I wish they would make available though is vegan milks. Currently, they do not offer any almond or soy milks, but they do have lactaid as regular milk substitute for my lactose-intolerant friends. In my many visits to Kung Fu, the place is small but vibrant. Before COVID, my boyfriend and I would grab drinks and play some of the board games they available. Definitely a cool environment to hang out at, and their counter is even decorated with old Kung Fu movie posters (pictured). During this unprecedented time, staff are masked, and they have plexi glass up separating the customers and cashier, so you will definitely feel safe inside. And I've always had great customer service from all associates I've interacted with. I really hope that Kung Fu sticks around, for the long run because it represents the great boba shop scenery of Cerritos so well! read more

They have a great variety of hot and cold beverages, I've never got sick from the drinks (yes, I had Montezuma's revenge from another place), the customer service is great, minimal wait time and they have a student discount if you show your College ID card. As a college student, this is very helpful since the discount usually pays for any add-ons (boba, milk cap, etc) I order. Also, they're generous with the boba portions. I've been to some shops where boba is being rationed like eggs. As both a fat girl and boba-holic, I need lots of boba and Kung Fu Tea has never disappointed me. read more

Undoubtedly one of the best places to satisfy your craving for a milk tea (and the prices are surprisingly good too). I visited this location at the recommendation of milk tea aficionado Sam B. She didn't steer me wrong. The staff here are exceptionally welcoming & friendly. I ordered a honey oolong milk tea with bubbles (aka: boba). They have a "shaker machine" which really shakes up the drink and mixes it to perfection. The drink was smooth and sweet. You can adjust the sweetness - I got "normal" and thought the sweetness level was perfect for me. But most people like things a tad less sweet than I do. The boba was fresh and chewy - and plenty of it. This was one of the better milk teas I've ever had. On a subsequent visit I ordered a caramel milk tea with bubbles. Big mistake. As a creature of habit I normally stick with ordering the same thing once I find something I like. Curiosity got the best of me. The caramel milk tea had no trace of caramel flavor and wasn't all that sweet. I couldn't quite place it but it was more of a floral taste. I drank 1/4 of it and tossed it.
