    Amazing food

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) enjoys eating Indian food and wanted to try a new place. We ordered Palek paneer, butter chicken, bhindi, and chicken biryani, and garlic naan. The food was beyond our expectations. It was very flavorful, tender and tasty. The service was great with regular check-ins by the waiter, but not too many visits that it was bothersome. The setting was great, with music that was not too loud. The prices were very reasonable compared to other Indian restaurants. We will back again.

Daal roti on Saturday ? Let's try it . This place is not seen from the main road on hurontario road since it's located on the rear side. The restaurant as such looked old on the inside. Ambience was OK. We ordered for chicken grill mix and chicken biriyani. The chicken grill mix was very good in taste . The mix had 4 different chicken varieties . The achari and the Hariyali were the best. The chicken Biriyani on the other hand was nothing but just A DISASTER !!! The taste and the texture was very pathetic. Am sure the chef did not have good experience making a Biriyani. The place was deserted when I visited and hence I can't really comment on the staff on this review. The pricing however was a little on the higher side . Can be a dollar or two lesser. In short , not all dishes at this outlet may taste good. May be worth a try.

We went here on a friend's recommendation for the amazing "Daal" and it lived up to every single word of praise. We started off with the appetizer of "Sev Puri" which was totally amazing. The spice, the lime and the crunchiness of the sev and the puri were great. For the main, we went for their signature Daal Tadka and Achaari Baigan along with some Rotis. Daal Tadka truly lived up to the reputation. The smokey flavor provided that extra bit of heat to the Daal along with all the spices. Absolutely loved it. Achaari Baigan was also amazing. The similar smokey flavor was found in Achaari Baigan too but due to different ingredients and a few different mixes of spices, it didn't really become a repetition. The ambiance of the place is good. Very family friendly and have a decent seating capacity. The staff was nice in general although we had a bit of incident at the beginning as we entered the restaurant and for a couple of minutes none of the staff members came to attend us and get us seated - contrary to common practice. Later on, we were told that it would have been fine for us to come and just grab the seat - something not expected in this type of restaurant. Overall, it's a great place to have a meal with family. Definitely, the place to go if you are a Daal-lover!!

Disgusting food! Ordered a Malai Chicken which they served with cheddar cheese, lettuce and some chutney. The chicken was old and stale. If you know Indian cooking you'd know the picture I attached IS NOT Malai Chicken. The roti was pre frozen garbage. Had to throw out the whole order. My advice - avoid this place completely. Their quality has gone downhill.

I came here for lunch take out. Great price for the food you get - $7 for naan, a meat curry, a veggie curry, and naan. And it comes in a nice takeout box (I never thought that would really matter, but it does). Secondly, the food. The naan was soft and warm, perfect texture and level of moisture. The rice was aromatic, the daal was great too. The butter chicken had great flavours and the meat was juicy, albeit I would have preferred to see a little more meat to sauce ratio. I'd come back here again for sure.

Generally Taste is good , love the butter chicken and cheese so much, but roti is a bit oily.

Variety of their open buffet is limited. Chicken doesn't taste great. Limited dessert selection - no fruits apart from orange quarters.

They provided us with extra utensils/ chopsticks when asked and answered any questions we had. The food itself for Chinese buffet was actually quite decent. The flavors although not strong and prominent as you would get at a regular a la carte restaurant were very close to the proper flavors they should be. Many other Asian buffets I've been to say in the states or energy back home in van lack the authentic flavor profile and taste blandish or more westernized. I would go back probably to try the dinner time menu as restaurant went for lunch.

Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted to a very clean and modern ambience that reminded me kind of like some of the big buffets in Las Vegas. Very cool setup where they have 3 self serve fountain drinks which is included in your buffet price. In the middle they have a grilling area where they are grilling Basa fish, salmon, chicken, sirloin steak. The steak was amazing they put this butter, garlic garnish on top that makes it so delicious. I had 8 of these steaks this evening! They also had a stir fry, soup noodle where you can choose your own ingredients, different vegetables and protein and carbs for them to either turn into a stir fry or soup noodle. They had plenty of ice cream to choose from as well as a soft serve ice cream machine. The service provided by the employees were top notch, so friendly, and helpful. The sushi rice was overcooked, and the sushi kept falling apart every time I tried to pick it up. The food prepared at the live cooking station was very watery, and the salmon was dry and lacked flavor. The customer service also did not meet my expectations, which made the overall experience even more disappointing. The chef's cooking felt rushed and, in my opinion, lacked the care and attention I usually hope for when dining out. Even the dessert was a letdown. My 9-year-old commented that the ice cream toppings were disappointing, which was surprising considering how simple that part of the meal should be. To make things even more heartbreaking, this was my birthday. I wasn't expecting a big celebration or for the staff to sing to me, but I had hoped for a small gesture, a simple slice of cake with a candle or even just a sincere "Happy Birthday" from the waitress or a manager. I understand restaurants aren't obligated to do this, but a little hospitality on a special occasion can leave a lasting positive impression. Instead, I left feeling disappointed. I traveled all the way from Scarborough to celebrate here, and unfortunately, it will be my last visit. Positive: Unlimited lemonade Great ice machine. Pizza was "all right"

When we had first arrived, we were told that it would be a two-hour wait, and that we would need to have a pager with us at all times that would be used to notify us once a table was ready. We weren't able to get a pager immediately as they were all being used therefore, we had to wait at least fifteen minutes before we were able to get one. Once we had that pager in hand, we waited about one hour for our table, which was actually not as long as we had expected. Upon entering the restaurant via an escalator from the first floor, we were pleased to see how picturesque it was. With the large windows showcasing the horse racing at the time, along with the tables that boasted their own private television screens, we were impressed with how wonderful and inviting everything looked. Upon being seated, we were given programs on the betting available for the evening's races, which was detailed with everything we needed to know. We also noticed that there was a middle-aged woman coming around, asking us if we were interested in placing bets during our dining experience. The diners went wild during the races, which created an exciting, yet sometimes, loud atmosphere. In terms of the dining, I was pleasantly surprised with how many options were available. Since it was only $12.95 (with a Winners Circle Card), I was blown away at how much food was placed within the buffet area, with an area dedicated to bread with a variety of spreads, another area with salads and other cold appetizers (such as artichokes, cold cuts, cheese, etc.), a hot table (with such items as lasagna, pizza, chicken, fish, and more), along with a dessert section, which boasted a wide variety of desserts, and a few dishes of fruit. All of the items were well-prepared, and everything tasted fantastic, with each item at the hot table coming onto my plate hot (temperature-wise), which is rare to find in a buffet. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this buffet, and would highly-recommend it to anyone who wants delicious food, at a low price. The only thing that I didn't like was the waiting period, and how slow it was, considering that many guests usually sit there the entire evening, watching the races and eating for hours on end. Although this is definitely the idea of the trackside buffet, it could have been the reason why we were so delayed in getting to our table. Nevertheless, it was worth the wait, and will definitely be going again!

After bringing our food, she disappeared completely and never once checked on us. We ran out of water and spent about 15 minutes trying to find someone. Throughout our meal, not a single staff member asked how everything was or if we needed anything. When we left, the person at the front didn't even acknowledge us or say goodbye. What was even more noticeable was that the other tables around us weren't receiving much attention either, so it didn't appear to be an isolated incident. We work in the service industry ourselves and are usually very generous tippers because we understand how demanding the job can be. Great service goes a long way, but unfortunately this restaurant completely missed the mark. There are plenty of excellent Korean restaurants with friendlier service, more reasonable prices, and much more generous side dishes. Sadly, this won't be a place we'll return to.

There was plenty of wait staff on site but communication between staff was quite poor. No one ever came by to see if we needed anything or to ask if we wanted additional drinks or the like. You would expect that when serving lobster and crab the tableware would include for seafood crackers. This is not the case. If you serving lobster and crab, the restaurant should either provide crackers or pre- cut the claws ready to eat.
