Came here for the first time tonight. Had a wonderful meal with my family. Great service and the food was fantastic. We ordered eggplant bartah, coconut curry and grilled lamb with roti Super yummy! We're definitely coming back!

Tried the veggie platter appetizer, kashmiri naan, and specialty curry with chicken. Everything was amazing. Will definitely be back.

Yes! Love this place. My husband and I stopped by here to get dinner before seeing a show at the Paramount which is across the street. I had the masala chicken and some garlic naan bread. There are generous portions of the naan bread and it was fabulous. The service was great and speedy.

I like India foods, but never tried in Seattle until now. I was not disappointed. Veggie platter was a good start. Then we order a reasonable sample of saucy protein dishes, with two kinds of nan. There were complimentary rice that proved to be beyond our capacity. Flavor-wise, they were on the mild side. We probably should have upped the spiciness level a bit. Biggie platter was a standard layout, they did not adjust to the number of patrons. Full bar, attentive staff, and relatively quick food arrivals. I will come again when I crave for Indian foods.

BEST INDIAN FOOD IN SEATTLE, PEOPLE!!! Get Your Little Noggins Over Here!!! I always say, If the locals from that country eat there, YOU EAT THERE!!! And oh boy, did we score!! Such a beautiful restaurant and the servers are so nice. I have a thing for Basmati Rice... This place hit the nail with the hammer on this dish... We also ordered Curry and another dish with Spinach called Palak Paneer... SO GOOD!!!!

This is my go to spot for Indian food in Seattle. I've gotten take out numerous times and dined in a few times, and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, comes in pretty large portions (I always have leftovers). You could definitely do family style here, or order an individual dish, and one order of nann is enough to feed 2-3 people. The restaurant is always pretty quiet, but service is great, and the waiters are very attentive. It has a very formal feeling but is a casual spot and would be a great place to eat after exploring downtown. The only downside is that parking can be hard to find.

We did takeout but when we went to pick it up, restaurant was extremely clean with a good ambiance. The food was AMAZING huge portions and good prices as far as Indian food goes. The chicken saag was some of the best I've had. 5 stars for sure.

My friend and I stumbled into Daawat Grill with zero expectations and left highly satisfied. We shared the Lamb Samosas, Baba Ghannoj, Chicken Tikka, and the Paneer & Spinach Naan. Not only are the portion sizes generous, but the quality of food is outstanding. Our only negative comment was that the baba ghannoj was a little too smokey for our liking. The dining area was very clean - more formal than we were anticipating coming off the street. The staff was very quick to serve and always available when necessary. I would absolutely recommend Daawat Grill and hope I can go back again in the future.

While in Seattle, there weren't too many things around that sounded good and we wanted to eat somewhere close to our hotel. We haven't had good Indian food so we ended up picking this place (rating was good and food looked good). We ordered crisp calamari, tikka masala (chicken and comes with rice), and garlic naan. The calamari was perfect. Crispy and tender calamari. They give you a good amount. It was perfect for the two of us. The tikka masala was really good too! Just needed some chili oil / hot sauce. The rice was basic. Wish it were garlic rice. On the other hand, the garlic naan was REALLY good! Ate more of the naan than the rice. They give you a good amount and they freshly make it in house. Also, it looked like they have a buffet during lunch. If we go back to Seattle, we will definitely come back to try the other things on the menu.

Daawat means "feast" which is what I had today! Saved all my calories for feast of Jalfreezi Chicken and Garlic Naan. They used dark meat chicken which to me is more flavorful and moist than everyone that just chunks up breast meat. This was a real treat with plenty of garlic ginger and some chilies for a little heat. Daawat also serves one of the largest servings of naan bread I have had recently. 1) This inauspicious grill nestled in the heart of Seattle is close to a white cloth restaurant with a full bar and great staff. 2) My food was just right for the afternoon and my sauce was plenty to cover the chicken and some to dip the naan in. 3) I have to say they have some menu options that I had not seen before and when I return I will have to try. Rogan Josh and Jalfreezi are my jam or I would have this time around.

Solid Indian spot, good for delivery or if you're around the convention center and want a bite to eat.

No wait on a Friday night around 830pm. Our service was nice and our food came out within 15 minutes. There was a mix up for one dish and we got another one accidentally. They fixed it promptly. I tried the chicken Tikka masala $16.50, which was creamy and good with the rice. Their chicken biryani $18 was unique compared to others we have tried. It was more of a mixed saucy texture with larger pieces of chicken. I'm used to it being more dry. The portion was also very generous. Service was pretty good. There was a mix up with one of our orders and they fixed it but it took another 5 minutes for one person to get their food.

That's what's left! Lamb Tikki Masala and Garlic Naan.

Queen you walk in you have the option to sit on the backyard patio or in the dining room. We opted to sit in the dining room as it just felt more intimate and the vibe we were wanting for dinner. For our appetizer, we started with the Samosas (Two crispy pastries filled with your choice of freshly mixed vegetables or delicately spiced lean ground beef) which were excellent. Next we ordered the garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. The naan and samosas showed up piping hot but the chicken tikka masala & butter chicken were cold. I probably should have said something as I was disappointed but was too hungry to care at that moment. If I'm in the Seattle area I may stop by Taste of India again.

But Indian-Nepali Kitchen is one of Seattle's most sought-after spots for affordable eats. But don't sleep on the rest of INK's broad menu of South Asian fare -- The Infatuation magazine even considers it to be one of the best restaurants in the city, full stop. INK shares a strip mall with a bodega and nail salon. Black cushioned chairs are pressed up to lacquered wood tables, and the tan walls are decorated with an assortment of cultural tchotchkes. Bollywood music videos play on the main dining room's single flatscreen, while images of Nepali mountain ranges flash on the screen in the accessory dining room. My partner and I dined at INK for weekday dinner on our drive up to the North Cascades, and we had the dining room to ourselves. Only a handful of takeout patrons rolled through during our visit. We kicked off our meal with the Mixed Appetizer. The Vegetable Pakora component was a consensus hit. The rich, crispy bites functioned well on their own and were fun conduits for the fragrant mint sauce and the tart tamarind sauce. In comparison, the samosas were forgettable, sporting overwhelmingly thick shells and hit-or-miss fillings. Of the three varieties, only the earthy ground lamb was worth finishing. Next, we tried the Combo Momo platter. Admittedly, the signature momos were surprisingly mediocre. Across the varieties, the wonton-like Fried Momo was the clear winner with its exciting texture without overpowering the delicate filling flavor. Meanwhile, the standard steamed momos tasted like something out of the frozen section, the Chili Momos were dominated by fast-food-quality sweet-and-sour sauce, and the Sandheko Momos had an unassuming, generally savory curry flavor (which was far outdone by the tangy side of house chutney). For our entree, we were very impressed by the Butter Curry Lamb. The thick curry broth was vibrant and dynamic; we sipped it by the spoonful. The tough lamb felt like an afterthought. The Garlic Basil Bread wasn't particularly basil-y, but the naan slices were pillowy, flaky, and addictively buttery. To drink, we shared an Iced Chai. The tea was more spiced than sweet; the average Starbucks patron might turn their nose up to it, but the light drink was a welcome contrast to the dense entrees. For dessert, we opted for the Gulab Jamun: the ping pong-sized cheese balls were deceptively dense, each packing a rich, syrupy punch. The service was quick and efficient, and our bill worked out to about $75 (after tax and tip). The flavors topped out at very good, but never quite achieved greatness. The portions were generous -- we probably could have done without the momos and still had a satisfyingly hearty meal. For a no-frills meal that will, at a minimum, be tasty, INK is a safe bet.
