Coming from LA, it has been difficult to really make me crave some of my favorite ethnic foods here in AZ. But I wanted Indian delivered and this was my one choice. And now it will be my first choice for Indian. Yum. Yum. Yum. The Tika is perfectly spiced. Tangy and spicy and unique. And the, I think, homemade naan was lumpy in places, flat in others giving it a very rustic feel. And it's another one of those flavors that has a taste like no other. Naan is just so perfect here. And they have both vegetable and meat samosas! Try it. I have no idea what it's like inside but the food is just really, really good. NOTE: Went to order thru Grubhub and my usual order seemed very pricy. I pay more attention to each price. For instance one piece if naan on GH was $3.99. I called the restaurant directly and they said naan was $1.50 per piece. That's a 150% markup. I ordered from the restaurant and saved $30 on my total. Picked it up and asked if they make the overage and they do not. So, I love GH and use it often. But for smaller family run restaurants, I'll check prices from now on. I want everyone to win - GH, the restaurant and me. You, too. So do some checking and consider leaving info when you find this kind of price difference. read more

Left the whole uneaten plate on table. They do not give refund, I asked owner (woman) for refund. She said I ate some of the food. Don't go here and get taking advantage of. Chicken biryani is my favorite meal and I eat it at other places like pastries and chaat, tandoori times, and deli palace among other places. This was by far the worst I've had I was biting into green cardamom pods a lot and it had a very strong overpowering cardamom flavor but besides that the rice did not have good flavor I wish I had ordered something else. Amazing and authentic Indian food for a great price. They give you very generous portions and it's so good! Small business and family owned and family ran. More of a takeout place, but still fine for dining in. We dined in for our first time as I just moved in nearby. It's definitely going to be my new go-to place!! The service was fast and we got our food all together and it was fresh and so good. Highly recommend this place for people looking for authentic Indian food in North Phoenix. Food is great and have ate here several times for lunch. I wish they would have more Combos similar to the lunch combo for dinner though. I personally do take out a lot and find my self not wanting to order after two because the lack of a combination meal. Suggest offering 2-4 combos that include a smaller main entree or maybe 2 half entrees, naan, rice, Gulab Jamun, Samosa and maybe a drink for $12-$13. Basically your lunch combo but for a couple dollars more and offer it through services like Grubhub, your website and Uber Eats. read more

Have eaten here a few times via Uber Eats, don't get me wrong the food is great. The problem lies in how they conduct business, I have ordered from them I'd say 5 times, 3 out of those five times they cancelled the order, under the reason "customer called and cancelled order", when I did no such thing. I usually buy about $30 worth of food from them, so quantity of the order doesn't seem like a valid reason for cancellation, and the time the order was placed was always 3+ hours before closing, so it is not time either, my concern mainly lies in the fact that when they cancel under that reason, they keep the money! I then have to contact Uber eats support to refund my money, and it comes out of Uber eats pocket, not the restaurant. So this adds to some suspicions behavior. Again I like the food. But they are suspicious with how they do business over Uber eats. 1 star for overall but I added one just cause the food is ok. Thanks read more

I came here since my usual Indian restaurant one block away is closed Mondays. I wanted to like this place but no matter how hard I could not, the food is flavourless with nearly no spice, the naan is overly thick, and for the price you do not get much food at all. I probably won't come here again, nice owners there is just better food 1500ft away at much better prices. This was one of very few times in my life that the food was truly inedible, I felt bad, but ended up tossing it in the trash and leaving before I had gotten even halfway finished. read more

The lady at front desk has always been nice and patients with all my questions of what is this and what is that... so if you are reading this.. thank you very much :) Food is pretty cheap and authentic. Every time we walk into this restaurant there would be some other Indian families eating biryani... definitely a good sign imo :D. Service has been slipping. We ordered delivery twice and both times there was something missing and the portions got smaller (significantly...) Sad to do this because in 2019 I left a glowing review and was so impressed...but sadly it would now be misleading to people looking around. I was so hungry as I live near by this restaurant 1. I had ordered Goat Biryani but the rice and meat was not fresh (it seems and taste like previous day cooked biryani) and same about the soup... it's just a hot water. 2. on the menu price showed up as 10.99$ but they charged 14$ if prices changed please update the menu. The best Indian place in Phoenix and one of my favorite outside of India. If you want real Indian food, go here. I enjoy shrimp masala curry, palak paneer, dal, Delicious masala dosas also. I do wish they used more environmentally friendly plates when dining in (it's on styrofoam). And not sure what happened to the sambar recently though--used to be tastier and with more ingredients. However it is one chef and one cashier/server running the place (they're good people), and food is still tasty, so go there and support this mom & pop place. BTW, not sure what some people are saying about small food portion size in their reviews...the portions seem comparative to all Indian restaurants I've been to in the US. read more

Great little place for Indian food. Not fancy at all. If you walk in they have specials which change daily. I have gotten several items off their menu. Their biriyani which is a dish made of meat and rice cooked together for several hours is amazing. Food is a touch oily but is very well seasoned. Some of the items are quite spicy so if you can't handle the heat make sure you let them know. This is probably my favorite place for Indian cuisine in Arizona. read more

We got delivery from this place from uber eats. On a Sunday afternoon when I wasn't feeling well, it was just the ticket. Food was still hot when it arrived and it was all wonderful. Another hidden gem I found through yelp. This very modest eatery is located on 35th Av just north of Union Hills Drive, with a storefront that would give you an impression that it is just another run-of-the-mill strip mall ethnic eatery. But then there's the food! I ordered meat samoza for appetizer; the two that were served to me were so generously stuffed with very well seasoned meat that I consumed only one (the other to bring home for later snacking) so that there will be room for the main order. Next, I tried the humblest of dishes: daal curry; it was bursting with amazing flavor and came with a big serving of fragrant rice. I'm a big fan of garlic naan so I ordered that too, and they make a really amazing garlic naan here - freshly cooked and glistening with ghee, garlic, and herbs. The dishes are very reasonably priced, service is simple (you order at the counter), and the flavors of the food impressed me enough to make me decide to come again a second time to get take-out veggie and meat samosas, and yet another time to enjoy their chicken dhum biryani - all three visits within the span of a week even though this place is a bit of a drive for me. read more

My buddy and I ordered from here through Uber Eats. Our food took almost an hour and a half to get to us, but it was Christmas Day so I won't really dock any points for that. My chicken tikka masala was creamy and reasonably tasty, but the consistency was a bit runny and there was this peculiar egg yolk flavor to the dish that I didn't really care for. DO NO EAT HERE!!!! Wish I could do less than 1 star. I used grub hub and ordered chicken curry and asked for extra veggies. All I got were CHICKEN BONES!!!! No meat, and no veggies. On top of that, I ordered garlic naan bread and got some dough, very undercooked with some garlic on it. It was like dough microwaved for 30 seconds. My friend ordered chicken tikka masala which is her favorite. It was burnt. One other thing I should mention is that the portion size was soooo small.
