It's just waaaaaaayyyyy to good! The consistency of the drinks are above many boba places I go to where they can be hit and miss! Forever a customer to DaBoba Santee!

Was in Santee and needed to run a couple of errands, but I wanted to grab a drink as I go. DABOBA is right off of Carlton Hills blvd and easy to find. Small store, but inviting, as you walk in immediately caught my eye was a giant panda sitting in the corner. I was able to order my drink quickly, as there were several staff working hard making drinks in the background. I ordered a large Thai milk tea, no boba. There were a few people already waiting for drinks ahead of me, but it didn't take long for my drink to be called. Snapped a pic and off I went. At first sip the Thai tea was strong and a bit overwhelming. Few more sips and off to the next stop, it started to mellow out... and then I noticed it gone. One of my stacked eternity rings was missing and no longer on my finger. Quickly in a panic I pull over and start searching my car... nothing. I head back to the parking lot of DABOBA, and nothing. I went into the store and starting looking around the floor...still nothing. Hopeless in finding it, my heart just broken, I went to the counter and asked the girl who just greeted me. She had no clue of what I was talking about and then looked down near the register and was like wait, is this it?!? OMG, YES!!! Beyond overjoyed that this darn ring that had managed to slip off my finger a few times this year has found its way back to me again! Back to the tea... they offer two sizes which is nice if you didn't want a large drink. The large drinks costs a dollar more. I would like if they had two different size straws for the non boba drinks, so they only have boba sized straws, so it's wider. I ended up with an orange stain on my cream colored shirt. :( But in the end, they saved the day! Staff was friendly and in this scenario, super helpful! I'm glad to see people who are genuinely good hearted people who turned in my ring and staff who kept it for me. I don't know how I can say a million times, Thank you!!! 2025: 31

Came here after dinner with my partner, she's been before, but it was my first time. I went with the Taro Milk Tea Smoothie. It had that distinct taro flavor, and the brown sugar boba was flavorful. The shop itself is super clean with a calming vibe and plenty of greenery, which adds a nice touch. If I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back to try something new, maybe their Thai tea or something from the brown sugar series.

The service was really friendly and super quick. Decent prices for bubble tea! I loved that it wasn't too sweet at all. I wish there was an option to get lychee jelly but the popping pearls were still a good addition to the tea. I would come back for more!

Stopped by here after running a few errands on a hot day. When you walk in, you can't go in without noticing the hanging plants. Such a cute quaint spot. The menu is pretty vast and they have a few options of game boards that you can choose from. Few seating options. Service was fairly quick. And just an FYI, their Vietnamese Coffee is STRONG.

Hands down, my favorite boba place in all of San Diego. Their boba is consistently fresh and always the perfect consistency. I mainly order from the brown sugar series (usually the latte or the matcha) and it's perfect even without mods. Someone ALWAYS greets you at the door, they're friendly and patient. The shop is clean, tidy and usually not too busy in the evening. I've loved watching the green plants grow through the year! The parking lot also hosts amazing sunsets, making it a cute, affordable date night option!

I finally had a chance to try DABOBA Santee location after seeing so many posts about this place on social media. I'm a fan of boba tea drinks. I had my first boba tea in Montreal, Canada a few years ago and hadn't been able to find another good location like it until DABOBA. I ordered the,"Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea," seems to be the most popular one and it was so delicious!! This drink was so good my hubby drank half of mine and he's not even a fan of boba drinks!!lol There are several DABOBA locations in Santee, Mira Mesa, Rancho Bernardo and Kearny Mesa. The Santee location was very clean and decorated nicely with plants everywhere. It's such a cute hangout to meet your bestie and catch up. I loved the Bear theme so much!! The business is in a plaza easy to find parking. The employees were very nice and friendly. I'm looking forward to driving 25 minutes to get this drink again and try others!! Give them a try! The place is sooooo cute!! I really love all the plants that they have!!! Customer service is excellent!! There's so many choices!! This is a really cute place to take a picture! So we tried some drinks. I ordered the black tea, I know it's boring but it was a HOT day! The drink is perfect!! My daughter got the avocado smoothie. Her drink is really good too.. she was drinking her drink so I couldn't take a pic. This is by far our favorite DA Boba!! Really cute place and great drinks! We will be back to try more drinks!

First time here. I don't really drink boba, but wanted to try this place out since it's fairly new. I ordered the roasted brown sugar pearl milk tea and my son ordered the strawberry smoothie. After the first sip, my son said, "Wow!!! It tastes so good!!" I took a sip of my drink and I felt the same as he did. The foam topping was so delicious and my drink is highly recommended. I didn't catch the barista's name, but she was amazing. She was working by herself, but got everyone's orders done really quickly. She was also very pleasant. read more

We drive from scripps ranch just to come here. We usually love this place but the girl tonight was rude. First they told me I can't use military discount when I have both mine and my husbands ID. They said it needs to be him... he's literally in the car with our kid so I'm not sure why he needs to the one to order all of a sudden but OKAY. Weird. Then, I forgot to add boba... asked for it to be added and the girl wanted to be rude and say "you need to tell me ahead of time." and act as if it was an inconvenience. I wasn't asking for anything free, I was fully prepared to pay the .75¢ or whatever it is they charge. Tonight was just not it and makes me question why I drive out of my way to come here with stank attitudes like that. Other than the weird new rule regarding military discount and her nasty attitude.. the drinks are great :) read more

This place is sooo good. I crave it allll the time now! The first time I tried it, I said out loud after every sip "this is soo good". I went to a boba place when visiting my parents because I was craving boba after this place and it didn't compare at all. Made me realize how good this place really is. I get a little confused with the menu because I'm relatively new to boba but they're so nice and willing to explain everything. My only gripe would be the price. It's a little pricey in my opinion and definitely not something I can afford as often as I would like to (every day). read more

When they first opened, I think k the week of grand opening, this location I got a drink and honestly thought it was so strong and gross which made me not return for a while... BUT I went back to give it another try and it has been so good! Maybe at first they were training people or got the ingredients wrong. But I'm glad I went back to give it another try. I've tried the Thai tea and classic milk tea which was good. The texture of the tapioca pearls were just right. I've even tried the crème brûlée add in which is pretty yummy. My dad has tried the strawberry smoothie and strawberry yogurt and he liked it a lot. read more

Great spot! I've been obsessed since I found out it existed. This week alone I've been there 3-4 times lol I've had their oolong milk teas with the honey boba and their mango passion fruit tea. They're all delicious. You can adjust sugar/ice levels. I always seem to have enough boba for my regular sized drinks. I haven't had the large drinks yet. It's a neat little spot everyone is so nice! read more

If you want to find the best milk tea in Santee look no further! DaBoba is phenomenal. Their establishment is super clean, their staff is very friendly and their milk tea is phenomenal. We get the roasted milk tea with Boba. The quality and the taste is second to none. Great menu items with lots of choices. The staff is very helpful in finding exactly what your taste buds need. Located in the GTM parking lot and very easy to find and always ample parking. If I can give this place 10 stars I would. It is by far the best milk tea spot in the county!' read more

Omg I was randomly in the area so I decided to try this place, the boba is AMAZING, this might be the best boba I've had so far. I had the roasted brown sugar pearl fresh milk drink with crème brûlée, the pearls are cooked perfectly and I love how toasted the sugar is. The drinks are the perfect amount of sweetness, taste fresh, and are aesthetically pleasing. The store is pretty cute too, and the workers are nice and make the drinks fast. Super cute new boba place in Santee. All the workers have been super nice. Interior is a decent size, small and quaint. It had cute decor, plants and cute little couches and chairs. Drinks with the crème brûlée topping take a while longer, wished the brûlée topping was more toasted. Didn't get much of a toasted topping so it didn't taste like crème brûlée. Their brown sugar matcha was delicious. Smooth, tasty, and didn't taste powdery. My daughter got the mango frappe and loved it. It was like a mango smoothie but creamier. They have a nice selection of drinks and toppings. You can adjust the sweetness and they have other dairy alternatives. And the cups are super cute! Wish I got a picture of the mango frappe. It came in a cute mason jar-like cup. Can't wait to try more. read more

I ordered a taro smoothie, purple rice yogurt, and avocado yogurt with boba. The taro smoothie was tasteless without the real taro extract. If you want real taro, I suggest the DaBoba in Kearney Mesa! The purple rice yogurt came out after 30 minutes of waiting and tasted sour and watery. I had to throw away this drink because it was disgusting in the texture and flavor. I usually get the purple rice in Kearney Mesa and it is amazing there not here. The boba was burnt and tasted like char and the avocado yogurt lacked flavor as well. I had to throw away 2 drinks and regret coming to this establishment. Go to Kearney Mesa for a much better experience. read more

My son goes to this place everyday. Today we placed 4 drink order. They just couldn't get it right. The one female who took our order got our order wrong. Then we asked for boba which she didn't put in. When we came back and get the boba she had an attitude. It was her mistake. Wow. Where is the customer service??? It's small but more convenient to come here than convoy. Drinks are always good & prepared in a timely manner. Love that we can customize our drinks as well. Most employees are pretty kind, some can sound like they hate their job but doesn't bother me too much. The vibe is cute rustic vibe. Just a place to chill with friends not somewhere to study. read more

I ordered the Kung Fu Green Milk Tea with boba at 75% sweetness and my partner ordered the Oreo slush. The staff were friendly and the transaction was smooth. They also offer a rewards system linked to your phone number, which is always nice if you come often. Seating here is interesting. There are traditional tables and chairs, but they also have an elevated floor seating area with cushions. It's a pretty large space and I'm curious to see it when the store is busy because it's a unique setup for a boba shop. There is also games provided if you are looking to hang out here with some friends. They also provide free Wi-FI. The real standout here is the boba. It's never mushy or bland. It has that perfect bounce and a rich honey flavor that makes it different from other places. I've heard they produce their own boba, which might explain the consistency. The boba itself is sweet, I recommend lowering your sugar level if you don't like overly sweet drinks. The green milk tea was creamy with clear green tea notes that came through without being overpowering. The Oreo slush was exactly what you'd expect, a classic cookies and cream flavor that was smooth and sweet. That consistency is what keeps me coming back.

She subbed fried rice for white and added two orders of chicken egg rolls. She loved it. The portion size was large enough that we split the leftovers to take to work for lunch the following day. I didn't get to taste it fresh, but the next day it was still great. The chicken was tender and juicy even after a 2-minute nuke. The vegetables were tender yet still had a nice crisp bite. The entire dish had a nice peppery spice to it. The fried rice was great. After three minutes in the air fryer, the egg roll was fresh as new. Don't forget to ask for a container of the spicy mustard. Whoo! Hot!

Yeah well how in the world would I have known that if you didn't pin in my order as completed? I told him up front and pointed at the board, "I didn't know since the number is still under In Progress." He just turns to look at the board and goes "Oh." I took my drink and left. I think what upsets me over the attitude was that he saw me standing there for an absurd amount of time, walked past me once for something, and didn't bother asking like "Hey you've been standing here for a while, can I check your order for you?" It doesn't take a lot of effort to initiate good customer service, but blatant lack of customer service and the additional attitude is what leads to feedback reviews as such. Will unlikely be coming back. I liked the drinks at 3Cat but this was such a negative experience.

The owners here are so sweet and they always provide a free piece with my order. They sell their baklavas in boxes only, but you get to choose from 3 different sizes. You also get to choose from different flavors (pistachio, walnut, chocolate walnut, cinnamon walnut, almond-pecan, hazelnut) and sizes (they have triangular pieces and rolled pieces), but honestly I would recommend getting all of the flavors because they are all fantastic! Tried the roasted brown sugar milk tea and the mango yogurt drink and both were really good. The boba texture was perfect and the drinks tasted fresh without being overly sweet.
