We went to Dacha on a date with my husband and it was really nice. I loved the beautiful interior and spacious dining area. Tables for two are tiny though so from time to time we had hard times rotating the plates while sharing. Food: Syrniki were our favorite! Soft and juicy with a bit crunchy brûlée outside + raspberry sauce on the side. Top notch! Rustic Benedict was flavorful and full of texture thanks for crisp potato pancakes they used instead of muffins. The dessert - Pavlova cake was a bit bland though. Too much sweet cream and just a little of the fruit filling which supposed to make the taste more diverse. The other downside was the $9 for still water. Outside of that the place is nice and I'm planning to come back to try their borscht and golubci.

DACHA has now become my San Francisco, staple places to eat and recommend! Not only is their food exceptionally tasty in flavor and texture, but the owners here are so hospitable and really involved in the community! There's a bunch of private rooms, which I really appreciate the bar is stunning and huge! There is a lot they offer on their menu! I highly recommend the GOLUBCI and DACHA GOULASH!! And definitely get the infused vodka! You will not regret it! I can't wait to be back in town to try the rest of the menu!

Very good experience on a Saturday night with my husband and our daughter! I booked a table for 6:15pm and the restaurant was not busy! We seated immediately and we ordered a few items to share: the eggplant roll, the mushroom Piroshki, the goulash and the trout. My favorite was the goulash! I don't eat meat anymore at home, but sometimes when I go out I still do, and the beef meat was perfectly cooked! Also the trout was good and my daughter ate almost the entire portion. The piroshki was ok, but there was something missing for me! My least favorite were the eggplants rolls...the bitterness of the eggplants covered everything! We shared a glass of wine and at the end the honey cake (it was delicious). Overall was a very good experience, and I'd love to try other plates and the brunch menu! The restaurant has a very nice decor and the service was pretty fast!

Visited for a Saturday dinner while in San Francisco and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The drink selection was impressive the sapphire cocktail was a personal favorite. One small note: the vegetarian options are quite limited, so it would be great to see some additions to the menu for plant-based diners. Service was attentive, though there was a bit of a wait due to a large group being accommodated. That said, it hardly dampened the evening a live DJ performed throughout, keeping the energy up the entire time. The ambiance was lovely overall, and I'd absolutely love to retur

STUNNING! We are visiting from out-of-town and our friends from Petaluma recommended this place because they had seen it on an episode of "Check, Please" (PBS) and they decided that since I am from New Orleans (and like to fancy myself a bit of a foodie) that I might enjoy this delightful restaurant. Well, they were absolutely correct. In fact Dacha is probably in the top three best restaurants I've ever been to. Ever. Run, don't walk, and come here to be blown away by the fantastically prepared and equally beautifully presented food. It was phenomenal! Additionally these are some of the best cocktails you will ever have. If Dacha isn't rated with a Michelin recognition at the least or given a starred rating in the very near future I will be shocked! By the way, the service is TOP NOTCH too!

The ambiance of the place was very fancy with roomy ceiling and comfortable vibes. The waitress was kind and she explained the dishes and made recommendations, which we really appreciated. The food served tasted very clean and healthy, and the harmony of the ingredients tasted very appropriate.

It's rare these days that I want to give a restaurant 5 freaking stars, but Dacha earned it! We went on Halloween and the place was fully decked out with decorations with a DJ cranking the beats out! For starters, the service was on point; our waitress was attentive and provided great recommendations. The food was masterful in preparation and presentation. The innovative takes on Eastern European dishes took me by surprise in every course. I was especially wowed by dessert! You'd be hard pressed to find pavlova on a Bay Area menu, and this one has to be the best I've had. It's not too sweet and the meringue shell and cream complement each other perfectly. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Such a good place to try something different in SF! My friends and I are so used to eating Asian food, so we decided to switch it up to something European. Loved the vibe of this one for sure. We came for brunch and our waiter was so nice and gave us some recommendations. We decided to get the latkes, Benedict, and the shakshuka. I was so so excited. The benedict and the latkes were AMAZING. We killed both of those. So flavorful, such a good crispiness mixed with some saltiness but doesn't feel heavy. Both of those are must orders for brunch. The shakshuka my bf and I weren't huge fans of only because we're not huge tomato fans. We were hoping for a more herbie or sweet tomato saucy vibe, but it is very much a straight tomato situation. If you like tomato, you'll enjoy this. Again, didn't hate it but after a while we decided we preferred the other 2. Would love to come here again for brunch and for dinner!

This formerly unassuming corner in Lower Nob Hill has become a unique standout for exceptional Eurasian food, with Sofiya (Uzbek, Tajik, Kyrgyz) on the Northeast corner and now the incredibly fun and delicious Dacha on the southeast. Dacha's menu straddles brave takes on Eastern European standards with tried and true comfort foods that would make your baba proud. Flavor combinations are rich and well-structured and lead to a slow and deliberate meal you'll want to share with your best conversationalist friend or a fun date. Especially someone you don't mind sharing apps and entrees with (see below): Where to begin, the standouts: The DACHA stroganoff. My lord. Had to be shared, only fair to share, but a real standout and nothing like a stroganoff you've tried. Yes, their protein choices amount to a big swing which the chef knocked out of the park. Be brave. You will be rewarded. The Herb Cake (cut from the menu "Soft herb sponge cake served with delicate cowberry mousse, topped with a thin strawberry jelly and a sprinkle of crushed walnuts.") Though i also really enjoyed the Honey Cake. If you can find a way to portion out the rich chocolate honeycomb on top so you get a little chocolate in every honey cake bite, i think it's a balanced flavor combination. DO NOT pass on the Sea Buckthorn tea with dessert! We were already googling where to buy this hearty and beautiful shrub from Washington State nursery's after one sip. Also loved the Tarkhun (Tarragon Lemonade). Mushroom piroshki was very very good. Dacha knows their mushrooms. Looking forward to coming back with a larger group and trying the fried potatoes with oyster mushrooms next. Even with it being a uncharacteristically warm Saturday evening, the Slavic stew was delicious. There are many many unique flavors hidden within this one and whether it was the pork or the chicken or the vegetables we both had goosebumps on every fourth bite. Very excited for the salmon with beet puree and yellow bell pepper pineapple sauce and the scallops on our next visit (we're taking mom and dad). Parking can be a challenge in this area, though there are four parking garages within a block and a half in every direction in including the SFMTA Polk and Bush garage. Strongly recommend ride-share or garage over circling for street parking. PS our server Ivanna was delightful and a great guide through the menu.

Fantastic food and service, everything was extremely flavorful. I am counting down the days until I'm able to make it back here! If you're a fan of Eastern European food this is a great place to check out. I would especially recommend the Golubci (and they're much more filling than they seem). It was a bit hard to find, but once you step inside there is an inviting atmosphere. Everyone was very friendly and I was seated and served very quickly.

A sleek, modern space where live techno beats meet excellent service and delicious food, like the incredible stroganoff with beef tongue and chicken hearts. We'd never find this mix of authentic Eastern European flavors and a trendy setting in Hawaii--we're so glad we gave it a try.

DACHA Project was founded by friends and co-owners Katya Skye, Suki Skye, Chef Katya Pervushina, and Tanya Ivanovich. They support community with core values of Professionalism, Respect, Integrity, Dignity, and Empathy. What does Dacha mean? Seasonal or year-round second home centered around family, food, and gathering. Their guiding principle is "Feeding with love. Leading with peace." Indeed they are feeding and it's good. I went with a group to Queer Prom, one of many events hosted by Dacha. The theme was KISMET & KARMA. The event was fun and made possible with various fun vendors. *co-hosts were Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence *Music by U-Mee Dee *Tarot card by Sean Anoie *Fun pottery by Opravlo *Karaoke *Portion of proceeds went to Rainbow Railroad, who helps queer people escape countries where they aren't safe to be themselves. Dinner menu had special cocktails and treats. The food was outstanding. I've tried several entrees and they were beautifully done. Service is warm and welcoming. The eggplant rolls are my absolute favorite appetizer. I've had it twice and I'll be back for more. The salmon plate reinvented salmon for me. It was perfectly cooked with a crisp skin and laid on a colorful puree of beets and maybe carrots. I'm not sure but it was delicious! Suki and Katya, well done! Dacha is a gem.

The ambiance was perfect for a nightcap. I visited Holy Water with relatives who live in the area but hadn't visited the place themselves before. Tart, smooth, and all-around divine. * Southern Exposure - The celery in this really awakens the senses. Very refreshing. * Zombie - Boldest drink we've tried yet. It's fabulous. * Caribbean Snow Day - The playful kid's cup this came served in had us fooled. This eggnog sure packed a punch.
