Extremely slow and inattentive service. Had to physically pick up menu from table and hand back to the server because she wouldn't pick it up. I had to grab coffee creamer and utensils from another table. I had to go to the bar to ask for ketchup and butte for my wife's meal. Dry toast? Who doesn't provide butter for dry toast. A server had to go tell another server to get us drinks because we waited so long. The food wasn't spectacular. Most of my Chilaquiles was soggy chips.

I went there for a breakfast meeting. It's located in Broad Ripple and it's a great location. Parking is questionable during lunch but it was perfect for an early meeting. My waitress, Jocelyn, was really nice. She was new so she couldn't suggest what to order which was fine. She did mention a few items customers liked. I ordered the burrito and coffee. The wait wasn't long but while waiting I had my coffee. My coffee looked like tea, you could see right through it. I love a strong cup of joe and that wasn't it. She tried again and by that time I had my client tried it and we both declined. Once my burrito came out it was kind of cold, wet and lacked flavor. The fries were good but for the price that's all I ate. I had two bites and I just paid for it and left. We actually went across the street and ate there instead. My client wanted something simple to eat for breakfast but she wasn't happy with the options. I basically left paying $20 for fries plus I tipped my waitress. I'm always open to try a spot again but I was disappointed with the coffee and the meal.

I'm not sure how I haven't been to this place before today, but I WILL be going back. We started with coffee. We had horchata lattes, horchata matchas, and one with a vanilla and lavender cold foam (!!!) 10/10 all around. The service was a little slow, but we were a group of 6 with no reservation and they accommodated us nicely. We will be sure to make a reservation next time since the space is small. The ambiance is beautiful. And the food was out of this world delicious. My family had to share off of each other's plates because we all wanted everything!

We both had the Chorizo burritos and loved it. Great flavor and you can tell everything was homemade. The service was great and they were all very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place if you like breakfast with a mexican twist.

Great lunch. Service was very friendly and the place is so cute. Very small inside but lots of seating for the size of it. We did not have to wait. I ordered chilaquiles and my husband got a burger. We both enjoyed our meals.

This is a great place for a typical (or not so typical) breakfast. They have your standard bacon-and-eggs type of entrees, but they also a lot of Peruvian dishes (and NY-style deli sandwiches.

    Porkchop (not on the menu).

As usual, they continue to improve their menu. Their chaufa flavoring has better after taste now. And they're trying this porkchop, it has no name yet but is very flavorful, meat is tender. I recommended that they add this on the menu. Hopefully they'll add this so that everyone can enjoy. Service is a little slow when they're busy due to being small business and but man, the food is worth the wait. This is place is so chill hence we have been a repeat customer here.

Stopped in today to have some brunch with a good friend of mine. Everything was a 10/10. Our server had the best energy and vibe. She was knowledgeable of the menu and provided us with great recommendations.

I had previously been past this restaurant but never went in. The other day, I saw a tiktok saying they had horchata latte. I immediately knew I had to stop by. I was in the area and decided to give the latte a try. The location is really nice, gives homey vibes. The horchata latte was delicious. I don't know if they make their horchata in house, but I loved it. Although it was cold outside, I still ordered it iced. I have tried horchata lattes at other cafes/restaurants in Indy and never thought they actually tasted like horchata but this really did. While waiting for our drinks, we looked at the menu and everything on the there sounded incredibly delicious. I plan on going back to try the food!!

The food was phenomenal, and the service was very attentive as well! The space was intimate but the noise level was not unbearable because of this. Highly recommend it!

I always drive past and see it super busy, so I was excited we went during a slower time. Very welcoming spot--we were greeted immediately when we walked in. I ordered a chai tea latte (assuming it was with whole milk), and my fiancé got a strawberry smoothie. The chai was good! The smoothie, unfortunately, was very watery, but it tasted super fresh, so it was still easy to drink. I got the French toast with scrambled eggs and bacon--VERY GOOD! My fiancé had the breakfast tacos (eggs, sausage, and bacon), which she really enjoyed and even wanted to come back the next day Family owned!

The breakfast bowls are pretty cool and feel like a healthy option, which I liked. They're a good choice if you want something lighter but still filling. The chocolate chip pancake is really good and definitely a highlight--soft, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the horchata matcha, which was good and unique. The matcha orange drink was okay, but not sweet, so it may not be for everyone depending on your taste. Overall, it's a nice spot with a mix of healthier options and some indulgent treats, and I'd come back to try more items.

This is a great brunch spot. Surprised it was no busier than it was. Good French toast and everything else at a reasonable price. Sliced strawberry garnish on the plate gets a fifth star from me. A great and simple way to know the chef really cares.

Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in awhile.

It was super fresh and very flavorful. The chicken actually had a good buffalo flavor which many claim to have but don't. We also tried the Nutella crepes with bananas, strawberries, whipped cream and Nutella. In addition to being very large, it had a great taste and was very fresh. Another hit for sure. The avocado toast with salmon was really good. The flavors were spot on and as with the other food, very fresh and well prepared. The brisket burger patty melt was also done perfectly. The brisket patty was a perfect medium and the onions were grilled just right. We opted for mayonnaise instead of the Thousand Island dressing it comes with. The other dressing may have been good but the mayo really paired well. Finally, the club sandwich was again prepared perfectly. Fresh meat, perfectly toasted bread (some places under toast and many over toast) - it was quite tasty. **Bluebeard... wtf**…read more Bluebeard has been on my Indianapolis restaurant list since I moved here from Chicago in 2021. I've found some really great restaurants here over the years, so I was especially excited to finally make it to Bluebeard. Each year during Devour, my husband and I pick a restaurant for each other as a surprise, and this year I chose Bluebeard. We had a 6:15 reservation and arrived about 10 minutes late due to traffic. I apologized, and we were promptly seated. Unfortunately, that's where the experience started to go downhill. Our server took about 15 minutes to come over, and although our appetizer arrived quickly (chips&dip), our drinks took another 15 minutes. I held off on ordering our meal because I wanted to do the Devour menu with the wine pairing. The food & drinks was a mixed bag: - Beauregard cocktail: 10/10 - Chips & avocado ranch dip: 8/10 - Crudo: 9/10 - Smoked fish dip: 4/10 - Mushroom ravioli: 8/10 - Short Rib Ragu: 3/10 - Chocolate crème brûlée: 3/10 There were definitely some great dishes, but the slow service and inconsistent food were disappointing for a restaurant with this reputation. The biggest issue came toward the end of the meal. The hostess came to our table and told us we needed to hurry because she needed the table for another reservation. **We were still waiting for dessert.** I explained that the service had been very slow and that we were waiting on our desserts. Our server apologized and said the hostess likely didn't realize what had been happening and was under stress. I completely understand that Devour can bring in more traffic than usual, but that's also something a restaurant at this level needs to be prepared to handle. We shouldn't have been made to feel rushed when the delays were not on our end. I really wanted to love Bluebeard after having it on my list for five years, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. For comparison, some of my favorite Indy restaurants for both food and service are Bocca, Union 50, Matador, Rosemary & Olive, Tinker Street, Strange Bird, Delicia, and Bodhi. Maybe we caught Bluebeard on an off night, but for me, this experience fell short.
