    Daddy Burger

Great cheeseburger, fries & lemonade. Ordered with arugula & pickles! Fry sauce is great. Service was very nice. You get a remote buzzer to know when your order is ready. Outdoor ambiance downtown is chill. Plenty of seating with shade & water misters.

Tried Daddyburger recently and the burger itself was really delicious--especially with the Daddy Sauce, arugula, and pickles. The flavors came together perfectly, and the sauce added a nice tangy kick that worked great with the fresh arugula and crunch from the pickles. One thing to watch out for though: the burger doesn't automatically come with the arugula or pickles, even though they're kind of signature toppings. You have to ask to have them added, and the cashier doesn't prompt you, so it's easy to miss unless you already know. Without those toppings, it's just meat, cheese, bun, and sauce--still good, but definitely not the full experience. The wait was a bit long, but in the end, it was worth it for a burger that's got some unique character and flavor. Overall: very tasty burger, just make sure to speak up if you want it loaded the right way.

Located in the Boxyard in downtown Tucson Honestly has low expectations for this place but they were definitely exceeded. Great chat on the burgers and the sauce was everything you want in sauce that tastes like an updated fry sauce. The fries were crispy. Serving sizes were a bit inconsistent with the fries between what my friends and I got but other than that I really enjoyed this burger. The Boxyard is also a fun gathering spot for friends.

Glad to see a new restaurant in the Boxyard. Daddyburger makes tasty smash burgers. The service was fast and friendly. Hopefully they do well at the Boxyard.

First time here bc my sister really loves their burgers. She ordered right before me and I got my burger 20 min after hers. It took them 45 min for two burgers and an order of fries. We ordered 3 sodas all different kinds and they were all flat. My bun was burnt and the meat and bacon were burnt as you can see. I was so excited to try but I am SO disappointed :(

This remains 5 stars for me! Great service, and we loved our tapas from pulpo, to salmon, mussels and frites, to paella and sangrias! We were served quickly and without a hitch! We were the only ones in the restaurant on a hot Sunday afternoon in Tucson! My only small complaint was the fact that it was a tab bit warm - the temp. was set at 82 eek. We all said we would be back to try different menu options!

Here is what my son ordered: - Paella Del Mar (Seafood) We got the $28 which is good for 2 people. $98 is available for a larger group. I was so happy to find a paella where the yellow rice is fluffy versus one that is baked and burnt. My son pretty much ate it all himself. One of the staff members patted him on the back and said...hearty appetite you got there. Lol. - Galician Octopus (my son loved this dish) - Basque Sausage Stew with mixed greens, onions, tomatoes and large white beans that comes with a side of rice. I was all about that rice, I could just eat this and be happy. To end the meal we could not say no to their Old World Style "Burnt" Cheesecake. So yummy. Service was 100/10!! Staff goes above and beyond. Gosh, I know I keep saying this but people in Tucson are just so darn friendly. 10% discount for UofA students (must show I.D.). Parking structure across the street is your best bet if you are in downtown Tucson.

Its Boxyard name comes from the various shipping containers that make up most of the buildings inside. It reminded me of Container Park in Las Vegas and similar places in Downtown Austin. I'm very excited that Tucson has a place like this now too!! We were there on a Saturday night, so it was very crowded with a DJ playing in the back, yet it was still open and spacious enough to have plenty of breathing room. I also loved how there's more than one bar for grabbing drinks at and a few food options - we got a couple of smash burgers from Daddyburger inside and they were GREAT!! Took a little while to be ready but it was a busy Saturday night, so understandable. Definitely make sure to add the arugula and pickles to it - loved the extra textures and crunch. The burger hit the spot and the fries were solid McDonald's type fries. Other food options inside included a Mexican food/burrito spot with several vegan options and also a sandwiches/snacks thing! We ended up just eating, drinking, and dancing to the music the whole night there. It was a blast!! It also looked like a great spot for just hanging out or getting some food whenever during the day or the week. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!

So many higher-end expensive restaurants serve bland, tasteless food, meanwhile this amazing mid-ranged restaurant is serving some of the best dishes I've ever had. The smashed chicken was probably the best chicken dish I have ever had at a restaurant. The skin was perfectly crispy while the meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The ginger and herb salsa verde was so fresh and aromatic. The cilantro rice complimented the lemongrass aioli perfectly. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and I'm usually one to reach for the salt shaker at most restaurants. Smoked olives are a concept I have never considered before. It's a concept that was executed perfectly here. So savory, flavorful, and complex. I'd love to have a few with a dirty martini. Speaking of drinks, my Casino gin cocktail was great. Perfect level of sweetness and tartness. I knew I had to order dessert after how good everything else was, even though I am usually not a dessert person. The oolong tea cake was nothing short of incredible. The tea flavor was subtle but paired well with the fluffy and light honey buttercream. Not too sweet at all. Of course, the service was great too. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. My first experience at 5 points made me realize that this is what restaurants should strive to be. I can tell there is passion poured into every dish with every ingredient thoughtfully melded together. I can't wait to bring everyone I know here so they can experience this too!!
