I really wanted to support local business over national chain but I cannot recommend this place. We've ordered from here 3 times over the past 4 months and every single time our pizzas are over-cooked. The cheese on our only-cheese pizza is always dark-brown/black. Same with the calzones. My last calzone was even missing ingredients that I paid extra for. Their pizzas are physically smaller than everyone else yet cost 35-58% more. The quality/ingredients taste no different from chain either. Just not worth the price/value/quality/consistency that you can get elsewhere. $36 for a large cheese and a 3-meat calzone is outrageous. read more

I just received a pizza and two salads from Daddyo's Spring Branch. The salads were pretty good, although my girlfriend's caesar salad was somewhat short on toppings. The pizza was generally unimpressive. The toppings lacked flavor, the sauce lacked flavor, and the texture and taste of the crust was very unimpressive. I ordered through uber eats, and the total came out to almost $70 for the three items and delivery. I wanted to order from here because it is a smaller independent restaurant, but I feel like my money would have been better spent somewhere like Papa John's. read more

After eating here a few times I felt the need to up the stars. The folks are always friendly and the food is always great. The Bronx Bomber is my favorite of their specialty Pizzas, and the calzones are pretty good too! I haven't tried their Salads/ Sandwiches/ Pasta because it's hard to not get the pizza, but my lunch buddy has tried both sandwich/pasta and liked them as well. So i am certain they are every bit as good as the pizzas. So if you haven't tried Daddyo's yet you really should. I bet they will have you coming back too! read more

Everything about it was fine, but it wasn't really amazing or anything. The crust is regular thickness, the sauce and cheese are decent quality, as well as the toppings. But my least favorite part was the crust. I enjoy regular thickness crust, and while it had good texture, it seemed off in terms of taste--to the point where I felt like I was almost chewing something tasteless. Five minutes later my doorbell rang and not expecting it to be our food so quickly, I was unable to answer the door. Clean restaurant, nice workers, I like that it has sit-in seating. But no fountain drinks or restrooms. The food is fresh-made, but it's thereby not the quickest place. I got the chicken Parmesan. It was hot and fresh, but even from the smell - there's a spice in there that reminds you more of Indian than Italian - just didn't belong. No idea what it was but the whole thing just didn't taste right. Chicken was small cut up pieces of non-breaded chicken breast - I would be have called it chicken parm - more a spaghetti with red sauce and chicken bake. I really didn't enjoy it at all, sadly. It came with garlic bread and that was good (butter!), but not as crispy as it should've been. I'd give them the benefit of the doubt that in 1 visit it may have been an off day...but I wouldn't get it again. Price was close on single meals, but over on extras. Side salads seem overpriced by about $1, packs of cookies overpriced by ~$1.50 as well. The lunch special is ~$2 over a place I used to go in Sugar Land...so it's not way off but it's not great.
