This little taco truck that BLEW everyones mind! Now has a walk in shop. I haven't been able togo into the shop yet, but soon will. I'm excited to see all their hard work and epic food pay off. There isn't anything here I haven't been astounded by. The owners are incredible people to top it off! Their story and this little taco truck is that of a dream and incredibly hard work. They are growing for great purposes to provide a killer taco and other goods. Each item you get from Daddy's is made with love and care. Jam packed full of flavor. Your service will be top notch and quick. Nothing stingy about the portions either. This is a need to try place in town. These guys do it right. The food was outstanding. In particular, the meat was amazing. We had both the carnitas and the al pastor. Possibly the best al pastor I have ever had. All ingredients tasted super fresh. The crew was super nice, too. They were accommodating, patient, and happy to explain everything. They earned a rare 5 out of 5 stars. I will track these guys and their truck, and go out of my way to find them. They were that good. read more

First timer. I always wanted to hit the food truck but never found the time to chase it. So glad they finally opened a location! We got the Birra Queso style tacos, the Keto cheese shell and asada nachos. The Queso shell was amazing. My husband loved the keto shell but the cheese was a little too burnt tasting for me. The nachos were also excellent. The guacamole was perfectly fresh and flavored. Didn't taste like it had been sitting around all day. We will definitely return. Holy birria this is good. We stopped by after pulling over to get some street tacos and tried to figure out where to go. I remember I saw them mentioned on Reddit and decided I'd look them up. Lo and behold they were literally across the street. The lady working the register was amazingly friendly and nice, the kind of treatment you get when you see a great friend after a long time. We ordered two quesabirria tacos each, she asked if we wanted salsa, got one red one green (both stellar) and then asked if it was our first time, we said yes, and she asked us to let us know how it was. We got told it would be about 5-10 minutes and I think it took 3. We opened the container and four tacos loaded with birria, cheese, and everything tasty greeted us, and they had burnt cheese with em too?!? Oooh! Dear GOD, I hope this taco truck never leaves. I will personally keep them in business because these are the best tacos I have ever eaten... and I've eaten a lot of tacos. We ordered the quesabirria and al pastor tacos.... and I'm having an entirely hard time picking which was better. They're jam packed with flavor and I find al pastor to normally be a dryer meat... not with Daddy's! The meat was cooked perfectly and the spices are on point. You can tell that there is thought behind every piece of the tacos. And, I would absolutely give a kidney if they bottled and sold their spice mix.... just putting that out there. But seriously, this is my new favorite food truck. The price point is more than fair and you get so much flavor with every bite, even with the consome (dipping sauce for quesabirria). The consome flavor was entirely unique as well and paired PERFECTLY with the tacos. I seriously hope I can get these tacos all the time, because I will LOL. I couldn't even get a picture because we scarfed them down so fast. I hope everyone gets to experience these tacos! I even love that you can call the taco truck and order ahead. read more

My son is on a mission to try all the taco places in Reno, and Daddy's did not disappoint! The food was wonderful, the staff was dealing with a pretty good lunch rush and managing beautifully - we will be back for sure. My only complaint is the location - it's not close to anything. Other than that, this is a stellar place to get amazing food! We tried several different kinds of tacos and their beans and rice are yummy too! I highly recommend you try out Daddy's when you get the opportunity. The inside of their building is decorated so cool, and their taco truck is custom too. Someone spent a lot of time and probably money to put all this together to be enjoyed and they deserve your dollar if you are looking for tasty tacos and you take the time to drive out to them or find their truck around town. Amazing tacos and service. We ordered 3 dozen (chicken, el pastor & quesobirria.) They delivered to us with all the salsas to go with. Flavors are amazing! Chicken was so tender & moist. Upon first walking in the place was full for a weekday lunch rush which we took as a great sign! Clearly the locals know this is the place to be because the food was AMAZING (wish I took pictures but we were too busy scarfing down every last bite) and to match it so was the service! We tried one of every taco, the agua frescas and the horchata and all were a 10 out of 10. The owners Martine & Valentine provided excellent service and you can tell they are super passionate about what they do. Tried this place for the first time on Saturday and was very disappointed. Carne asada was bland and salsa was not the best. But the worst part is my husband found a ball of hair in his food. This place popped up on a Facebook group and I was immediately reeled In by images of delicious tacos... QuesaBirria Tacos to be exact! Their Facebook page offered the current address in a post. The hours are Thurs-Sun open at 6pm. They sit on the corner of Rick and Glendale directly across the street from Baldini's and in the Super Pawn parking lot. Ultimately, we were their for the QuesaBirria but need to try a few of the classics and the short rib tacos, to see how they fare. Cheese quesadilla was solid, the al pastor is tasty and has chunks of pineapple in it, which I like, the carne Asada was a little dry and lackec seasoning. The short rib tacos piqued our interest so we tried it. Definitely our least favorite item. The meat was a bit dry and chewy and worse was the bones were left in it. Not sure what I was expecting but thre bones are highly problematic when in the form of a taco. I had to dig through the onions and cilantro to pull the bones out. Now where they had me wowed and craving more was with the QuesaBirria! So good, so good, so good! We almost drove back for more and wished we would have foregone the other tacos. It was savory stewed meat with cheese, cilantro and red onions. Your dip these vibrant red tinted tacos in a succulent broth. The gooey, melty cheese added another level of richness that amplified the entire experience. Now I have to say, $3 is a bit pricey for a street taco but for the Quesabirria it is 100% worth it. Me and my family loved the QuesaBirria Taco and we will be back for more. We also plan to test out some the other menu items to see if anything else can match the exceptional flavor that this succulent taco offers. read more

So impressed with the options here! My husband got the nachos with asada and I got a variety of tacos. I had 2 cheese shells one with carnitas and one with birria and 1 lettuce taco with asada. All the meats were delicious! My husband's only complaint was the we're quite a few naked chips at the base of his nachos but otherwise excellent (and I feel like that's typical with any nachos). read more

If you are on a low-carb diet this is the place to go! They have a taco shell made entirely of fried cheese. I got two Birria tacos today with these cheese shells and they were delicious! As someone who's used to Southern California Mexican food, I usually find a lot of the Mexican restaurants in Reno to be a bit bland. I recently visited Daddy's Tacos, an authentic restaurant that was highly recommended by a coworker who raved about the amazing food. Upon entering, my wife and I chose to sit at the bar. Initially, the service was a bit slow as we waited for ten minutes before anyone assisted us. Eventually, a waitress informed us that we needed to place our orders at the end of the bar. Despite the slow start, I was eager to sample a variety of items from the menu. I ordered a Chimichanga carne asada burrito and the Aztec plate, which featured seasoned grilled steak. The burrito was beautifully decorated with sour cream and guacamole. The first bite was an explosion of flavor, with perfectly seasoned carne asada complemented by homemade Mexican rice and beans. The Aztec plate truly transported me to Mexico with its handmade presentation. The tender and marinated carne asada was abundant, easily enough for two people to share. Despite the initial hiccup with the service, Daddy's Tacos truly impressed me with its authentic Mexican cuisine. I highly recommend this location.
