1/4 soy chicken with mozzarella sticks combo
    Laura D.

As always, yummy! 1/4 Soy chicken with mozzarella sticks combo. You do have to wait since the meals are made to order, so we ordered via phone and picked up. There's free street parking.

Abundant food with inviting aromas was awaiting a chow-down, and a chow-down immediately ensued!

Fried Chicken! Korean Fried Chicken! Korean Fried Chicken Wings!!! YEAH, BABY!!!!!! Was SO psyched to see a Korean Fried Chicken place come to our small town! There are other places around that I have tried, and they're all good... But, in a pinch, they're not as conveniently located as this place would be. So, I anxiously awaited their opening. Last night was the night when the stars aligned for giving this place a try -- Christmas leftovers (finally... LOL) gone, tired from a hard day of work, and not feeling like cooking... And aligning is exactly what the stars did; as Daegu Chicken did NOT disappoint! After reading some reviews of the other location at the H-Mart in Little Ferry, I decided to order the full box of wings with the Red Dragon sauce with a side of yuca fries, and took the advice to expect a 25-30 minute wait time; as everything is prepared fresh to order. Arriving to pick up a half hour after ordering (as I was also told in the phone when I called it in), the order was ready. I was greeted with a smile from the nice woman behind the counter. The inside of the restaurant, though small in regards to seating, was bright and clean and modern with a nice wide-open feel. I noticed that they kept my order parts out of the bag until the last minute, and appreciated that method to keep the items crispy. After arriving home, I was immediately impressed with the presentation while unpacking the bag. The small details of the packaging were impressive and inviting. The chicken was among the best I've had -- Fresh, hot, juicy, meaty and crispy... And the Red Dragon sauce was delicious with the appropriate amount of kick! -- Not at all overpowering, but in no regards wimpy. The yuca fries were interesting and tasty, different from what I'm used to getting from Latin restaurants (in that they were all the same size and felt like they had a coat of breading on them). The dipping sauce was good, but not enough for the size of the order. *My only complaint about the meal. The cole slaw was standard, and a good accompaniment to the chicken. Little pieces of what seemed like a fried pasta were mixed in with the wings. Not sure (sorry) what they are exactly, but they tasted and had a bite like cavatelli. They acted as a nice pallet cleanser/neutralizer, even though the sauce also clung to them nicely. I highly recommend Daegu Chicken, and look forward to returning and trying their other sauce flavors and sides.

I thought a small order would only have 8 pieces, like wings normally would but it was massive. So essentially, our order was the equivalent of four small orders for two people but it was SO much chicken. We ordered way too much because I underestimated how big one order would be (but I'm not complaining)! We had leftovers for days so needless to say, I was sick of Korean fried chicken by the end of it. I really liked the spicy soy garlic but didn't love the sweet and spicy. It's really heavy on the honey, if you're into that. The chicken comes with a side of pickled daikon cubes. Next time, I'd like to see what the cheese snowing chicken is all about. Plus they're other non-fried chicken dishes look pretty good and are reasonably priced as well. Overall, it's a good bang for your buck!!

I stopped by a food stand called call Kasume Donkasu to grab something for dinner…read more I ordered a new dish pasta chicken dish with spicy topping. The plate looked very attractive and well presented. It came with fried chicken cut into pieces, ramen noodles, shrimp, and a spicy touch that added a lot of flavor. The dish also comes with a sauce that you can either pour over the plate or use as a dip. I personally preferred dipping the fried chicken instead of pouring the sauce over everything, which kept the chicken crispy. The combination of fried chicken, noodles, shrimp, and the spicy flavor worked really well together. I really enjoyed it, and this has definitely become one of my favorite dish of this food stands inside the H-Mark market. The food court is shared with other food stamp. There's always a table that you could grab because people tend to eat and leave fast. And there is always a staff ready to clean the tables if they're dirty. There is no music, but it gets a little bit loud because of people chatting.
