Stopped in and grabbed a lunch special. Great lunch pricing for plenty of food. The service was pretty average, pay at the counter and the cashier didn't show a whole lot of personality, but he got the job done. Small dining area with high ceilings so it feels like a bigger space. The food was good and lunch pricing is very affordable. I really enjoyed the spicy soy sauce on my chicken and the hubs got the honey soy and really liked his as well.

Amazing bulgogi - more than the wings, I would recommend the bulgogi. It was really flavorful and very authentic. The wings were good too!

Dagiya is a casual place to get your KFC (korean fried chicken) fix with some other snacks. There is ample parking in the plaza, but I would say that seating is moderate. Staff are super friendly and the food taste great!!! I would say that the portion of the KFC is appropriate, but the portion of the Ddeukbokki was on the smaller side considering its price. Also this place is right next to Snowl if you want to get dessert afterwards!

11/22/25-This place has such good food. I've been going since they opened. The staff is nice and the food is good. There is something special in the sauce they use on this dish, and the egg is fluffy.

The food is good but WAY too expensive for what it is. There is nothing particularly special about Dagiya from the service to the food to the interior everything feels serviceable, but nothing feels special or unique. Or at least not unique enough to justify what is being charged. If you are really craving Korean fried chicken Dagiya will fill your craving but lighten your wallet in the process

We finally made it to Dagiya for Korean Fried Chicken! For this adventure, we did order take out rather than sat inside the restaurant. Some thing to keep in mind for take out here is that their "estimated time" is not accurate especially if you ordered chicken wings. (They do write in the description section of any chicken wings that they will take additional time.) Overall, the food was great! The original KFC was perfectly cooked. The skin was crunchy and well seasoned. The Honey Soy Garlic was good, the skin is not as crispy as their original. The seasoning/sauce is more mild compared to BonChon or Angry Chicken in the area. Pickled Radish...needs some improvement, it is my favorite side dish and it was a huge let down. Just tasted super weird. It was not tangy. It was indeed crisp. Cost - very reasonable, it was around 38 dollars for all three, without tip.

I've ordered from them several times and can finally write this review. Prices are decent and a little expensive but it taste good! Each time I've ordered through Door dash, I've had the food delivered hot and crispy. I've never had a soggy experience with them. The fried chicken is one of the best I've had in a while! The Honey soy and soy garlic are my go to, but I'm surprised at how good their original recipe is. The skin is flavorful and the chicken is juicy. Last night I decided to try their chicken mayo bowl and wow! This is one of the best fish I've had in a long time! Maybe I was hungry, maybe I didn't have many options last night, but each bite was delightful! The bowl itself is a well sized portion, the rice is plentiful and you get lots of chicken. I actually added more Kewpie mayo on top since it was pretty skimpy when it arrived. Other than that, order this now and you won't be disappointed!

Another casual Korean restaurant opened only a quick 10-minute drive from my northeast DTC in the recent year or two. It's conveniently located on Parker Road on northbound right after Chambers Road. I read some great reviews left by others so today, I made a stop to check it out. It was a little after 4:30pm. The dinner rush had not started just yet on a Wednesday afternoon. When I stepped in, they appeared to have some to-go orders to take care of. Once I placed my order, it took about 10 minutes for my food to be ready. Not bad. The young lady was very nice to me. She had a nice smile. The menu seemed a bit limited; it's not a very extensive menu is what I thought. Maybe in the future, they can add a few more items to it?? The dining area is a good size. It's very clean. And it's not crowded with a bunch of tables so there is that nice open feel to it. The ceiling is high so this could be the reason why the place looks spacious. I quickly peeked inside my to-go bag. The main (Chicken Mayo Bowl) appeared to be a GOOD portion; I could feel the heaviness by holding the bag. also got me the Pickled Radish which is only $1. What can you get with $1 these days? I certainly appreciate this reasonability. At home, I had to stare at the Chicken Mayo Bowl for a minute while I was taking a few photos of it. It's quite large; this can easily feed two moderately hungry human beings. Not too salty with sauce; the chicken cutlet pieces were perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the Pickled Radish. This was a nice accompaniment to my bowl. This place is legit. I'll be back and try a different dish in the near future.

Edgewater Public Market is a great place to accommodate us - lots of socially distanced seating, open spaces and friendly folks like at the Lucky Bird to cater to just about any taste you may have. Today? The Farmhouse Salad with roasted chicken did it for me. I love the fatty nature of this salad - creamy ranch dressing, bacon and yummy blue cheese! And you can't go wrong pairing that with spinach, tomato and sunflower seeds. Simple and yet so good. My bestie decided on the Buffalo Blue wrap and some sweet potato waffle fries. No complaints from her. I may try hers next time - roasted chicken, cabbage, tomato, blue cheese crumbles, buttermilk dressing and Buffalo sauce. Yum! Ordering was a breeze and we waited CIR maybe 5 minutes. Staff was awesome and friendly as well. Total win.

The stream of customers remained steady during my visit so it was pretty obvious there are more folks who feel the same. Ordering is simple where diners step up to a kiosk and place their order (dine in or to go) and watch the screen by the pick up window for when orders are ready. I went with the Nashville Hot and added an extra of Mike's Hot Honey. What a wonderful splurge that was! The chicken is tasty and the side coleslaw was good (not overly wet). Birdcall offers tea (highly recommend the mango), sodas and beer, and margaritas. The dining area is pretty spacious and was well maintained during my visit. The dining patio faces Hampden so it may get a little noisy from the traffic. The restaurant and its facilities are accessible friendly too.

He did actually like his sandwich. I can't remember the name, but it was the one with the pimento cheese. I got the Korean sandwich, and my sandwich was so soggy with sauce that the bun was falling apart and the breading on the chicken was not one bit crispy, but instead had a mushy texture and kept falling completely off the cutlet. The flavor of the sauce was just too salty with a little bit of sweet, but no real flavor profile other than that. When I get a fried chicken sandwich I want it to have some crunch. That's half the fun of eating fried chicken, in my opinion. The tots were ok, but nothing to write home about. I got one of the dirty sodas, which sounded good in theory, but I really didn't like it and ended up just throwing it away. My boyfriend got the house made strawberry lemonade and said it just tasted too tart. Upon trying it, I agreed. I'm the type of person who almost always gets lemonade if they make it in house, but did not have a high opinion of this one. He didn't end up finishing his drink either. Today we ordered take out from Birdcall for our whole family. My boyfriend was there to pick it up when it came out, and we live only 5 minutes up the street. This time was the same- my breading just keeps falling off the chicken, even though this time I got no sauce on my sandwich. That's super disappointing and makes it harder to eat. My son doesn't like the chicken tenders either and says they taste bad. I tried a piece, and I don't think it tastes bad, but it is definitely bland. All of the chicken seems a bit overcooked judging by the dark color of the breading that has gone a bit past the golden brown you expect with good fried chicken as well as the slightly rubbery texture of the chicken. My boyfriend ordered separately but picked up both our orders. He got home and said his Starry has no flavoring whatsoever. I tried my son's lemonade and it again is just kind of sour in flavor, with not enough sugar added. I thought maybe the first time we ate their they maybe just had their ratios off in that batch of lemonade, but I specifically didn't order it with my meal this time because of the experience last time. I guess my instincts were correct because this time it still wasn't good. Overall I just always end up wondering why I spent the money to eat at this place when the food and drinks are so lackluster. I'd sooner eat at Raising Cane's where the chicken is super crispy, tasty, and the breading stays intact, and they have delicious lemonade that they make in house. I will say that the atmosphere in the restaurant is nice enough and the bathrooms were clean. It was over air conditioned, but that tends to be the case whenever you eat at a restaurant in the summer. Either way, I still don't get the hype around this place, re: the reviews I read. If I were you, I'd skip this place.
