I had done my research and knew it could be repaired and I didn't need to buy a new one, but we had not succeeded in fixing it by watching YouTube videos and buying replacement parts off Amazon. Hey Chris, I did not want to post on Yelp but, I had texted you and you were busy so I asked you to call me when you got a chance, and as of yet, you haven't. By the five star reviews you have received, I am sure eight out of ten things go well for your business but, there are those of us that are the two and, I am one of those two. Jeff arrived on time and was very polite. The job was to vent a new LG gas dryer out the right side. Jeff cut out the punch-out hole and then he apologized to me that he should have realized the gas was on the right and he can't do it. So, my new $1100.00 dryer has a hole in the side, the piece he cut out is all mangled and, it can not be used to cover the hole. So, in order to keep debris out, I supplied the metal duct tape he used to cover the vent hole. My frustration here is: * As an appliance repair business, employees should know LG gas dryers (and apparently, other gas brands) can NEVER be vented out the right * I have a big hole in the dryer right side * Why didn't you call me as I had requested As I said, I really did not want to post on Yelp but, you left me no option because you failed in your customer service, you did not call me. I have to give you one star because of all of the above. It could have been resolve via phone conversation... if you would have called me. Jeff was polite and, I appreciate that. You have great reviews and that is why I called you. With all these great reviews I was hoping I finally found an appliance repair service I could count on. Christian came in on a refrigerator repair that was diagnosed by a different repair company that was dragging their feet. He agreed to take over the repair, advised us on the pros and cons of having different companies do the diagnosis and repair. Overall great experience, they fixed the frig quickly and have not had any issues in 3 months since it was repaired. More recently they replaced the drum on our Samsung dryer, a pricy repair. Christian let us know up front that it was expensive, told us it was defect with the Samsung design, and advised us to consider buying a new dryer vs repairing. I appreciate that type of customer service and upfront honestly. Given supply chain issues we went ahead with the repair and also had them clean the dryer vent. They found an install mistake by our roofers after hail damage repairs. Daigle is on my short list for first to call when I have an issue. read more

I have used them now multiple times for various different appliances. Last time I texted them about a broken handle on a microwave oven, Chris was clear on the txt message, saying it will cost as much to fix it as it is to replace it. Since it's an old microwave I am better off replacing it. I thought I will attempt it myself - guess what Chris is right, it's a big mess to open and fix and finally it did not fix properly. Recently I have problem with my Samsung refrigerator. Jeff came and looked at it. I had told him about ice build up in the refrigerator portion. All the you tube videos said it's the drainage. He checked the drainage and said it's fine. I also had problem with front panel on the refrigerator. He basically told me, he can "attempt" to fix it. But no saying how long it will last. Also it will cost quite a bit to replace circuit board etc. he told me I am better off replacing the 11 year old Samsung refrigerator which is nothing but problem. I was not ready for it. I did quite a bit of research - guess what he is right, web has nothing but problems about that refrigerator. What I find it interesting about Chris and Jeff is that, they are not going do some work to make quick bucks for themselves. They are going to tell you the truth, even though it's less work for them and less money. But it's in the best interest of customer. It's difficult to find people like these guys. I reached out to Christian to see if he could come over and replace the compressor which had suddenly gone out in our LG refrigerator. He very quickly got back to me and informed me that he no longer services the type of refrigerator that I have. He did tell me, though, that the compressor *should* still be covered under warranty. Sure enough, I called LG and the compressor IS still covered under warranty. However, since Christian couldn't replace it, and all of the "LG certified" repair people don't seem to hold a candle to Christian and his company, we decided to get a new fridge instead. So...while no one from Daigle Appliance actually came out to repair our fridge, I have to give them a five-star review for a couple of different things: - Great/fast communications - Complete transparency and honesty - Pointing us in the right direction Thank you Christian! They were responsive, prompt, found an earlier, better time for us once we had our original service date set, and did a great job fixing our built in oven at a reasonable price. They also do something I wish more would - use text as a preferred method of communication. It's my preferred choice, too, but most service professionals seem to want to talk on the phone. I've used these guys twice now in the last two years and both times they were fast and reliable. First time our dishwasher wasn't functioning properly and Christian was honest about whether ordering a new computer board would fix it. This week our oven stopped working so we called around to try and get someone out. A lot of places didn't return my call or straight up told me they wouldn't come out for just a service call. It was a Friday and he couldn't come that day, which meant I would have to wait until Monday. He was kind enough to help me through text to try and see if he could figure out what the problem may be. I really didn't have much hope because you don't find Anyone who does that kind of thing locally, but I took a shot. I had them come out in June to diagnose a refrigerator problem, they left me holding the bag, saying I should video the Heliocoptor noise made by the refrigerator and send it to them so they wouldn't be "throwing parts at it". After the visit, the noise didn't happen as frequently. I had thirty days to have them come out before I would have to pay an additional service call fee. On the rare occasion when it happened, I couldn't get there fast enough to record it before the noise stoped. I was never able to get a video of it to send to them before the 30 days ran out. Three weeks back the refrigerator intermittently started dumping water on the floor during its defrost cycle, and I texted them again (their preferred method of contact), got one brief response, told them I currently had a fence being built and would contact them as soon as it was completed. Then late last week it started leaking water frequently so I texted them again, waited over the weekend, texted again and got no response - its now been 5 days with no response. If for some reason they would not want to do the work, they should at least have the gumption to tell me why - but instead they left me hanging. This is a lousy way to treat a customer. Christian the owner answered my call, arranged to text him the details, this was around 5:30 pm, at 8:00 am the next morning Jeff is here and fixed the frig/freezer in about 20 minutes!! He diagnosed it just by listening to how the compressor was sounding, had the part with him and presto all done, I now have cold beer and frozen steaks!! I contacted Chris and he sent Jeffrey to diagnose my problem refrigerator. He arrived on time and immediately figured out what our problem was. He ordered the parts but also had the refrigerator cooling again for us. It had been running at 42 degrees. It needs a new control panel for the front. Jeffrey was pretty amazing. We had used another repair person in the past and he did more harm than good, not to mention couldn't fit it. I also contacted someone else in Georgetown before DaigleI but they didn't come when they said and didn't call in a timely manner about the no show. I am sticking with these guys. I cannot give a review on the repair service because I never got to that point. So this review is solely for the poor customer service. I called to schedule the repair of my dishwasher and the voicemail indicated that I would receive a quicker response if I texted. So I texted. After two days of no response, I reluctantly decided to send another text. Christian Daigle then replied with "sorry" and blamed his lack of response on the COVID-19 pandemic. I didn't understand the logic with that one. We then continued texting to discuss the issue and pricing. I asked if he could provide a guarantee that he could properly diagnose the problem and fix it right the first time. I received no response. Whether you're too busy or not, blowing off a customer is a fast way to a horrible review. I'll find another company who is actually interested in my business. read more

This may be an odd review BUT I had a dishwasher problem (fail to drain) and contacted them for repair via Text message. They responded within an hour recommending that I check something prior to them coming to the house. It turns out their recommendation was correct and I was able to fix the dishwasher myself in about 15 minutes. I called them back to cancel and they were happy I was able to make the repair and asked that I consider them for future needs. I certainly will. They are good at troubleshooting and will talk you through the pros and cons of fixing vs. replacing a broken appliance.
