Great deals - the car I bought had a brand new transmission (I confirmed the receipt for the transmission matched the VIN of the car - they also gave me the original copy of the transmission receipt with the purchase of the car) and I bought it for just barely above bluebook value. They were very friendly, answered all my questions, provided documentation regarding the car's history, and really made sure I was satisfied before I committed to purchasing the car, and were not pushy at all. Above and beyond most if not all experiences I've had at used car lots in Sacramento.

These guys are obviously just dealers and I don't think they really know what's up with their cars that they sell. A quick wipe down after they purchase them from the auction house and they put them up for sale. I took a liking to a Hyundai Tucson and met up with these guys for a test drive. They gave me plenty of time to test drive the car but the car had this funky jump to it at highway speeds. I went home and thought about it overnight and it was my impatience and tired from looking at more cars that I went back and signed the paperwork for the car. Made the payment and drove it home. Turns out my inclination about the weird thud kept popping up when I drove the car around. So I took it to a shop to have it looked at. Turns out the transmission was shot and it needed to be completely rebuilt. Part of me doesn't know if it's a bad Hyundai or a bad mechanic or a bad dealer which is the reason I took so long to write this post. But I called up my main transmission shop guy, he flat out refused to touch this Hyundai saying their transmissions are notoriously difficult to work with. Another guy told me to spend as much as the car was worth on a newly certified transmission with full 3 year warranty. I couldn't afford that. The last mechanic I took it to said they could rebuild it. After 3 grand and some change they rebuilt the transmission and within 10 months it skipped all over again. I had the shop rework the transmission while they still had their 1 year warranty period. Car still drives terrible, once again I write this to share my experience, across the board. The car was a total disaster, turns out it's also been in an accident and that was repainted to hide it, not the dealership, just previous owner. But the sad thing is this dealer provided the Carfax and no accident was reported. It's just to show you a dealer without any prior knowledge of the car, you must be willing to pay a mechanic to check it out first. I think the dealer guy was nice, but whether they knew they were selling this lemon or not is only something a higher power would know. As with all car purchases, especially used ones in the state, as soon as I buy it it was sold as-is no warranty. I'm very wary of doing business with this kind of company in the future. Maybe avoid 10 year old Hyundais as well when they're completely out of their 10 year warranty too while you're at it. I felt it is fair to give them 3 stars, because they did their part as much in showing me their car line up and letting me test drive it and pulling together some paperwork. But I also don't want to give them 5 stars cause I feel like their product isn't reliable. Once again you heard my story and you can decide for yourself. If the troubles are the dealers negligence, previous owner, Hyundai, or just myself for even considering this car after weird feelings from the test drive. Good luck on finding your next car.

I would recommend that if you go that route, you should try to make an appointment at any of the local shops ahead of time as they seem to be pretty busy even on a weekday. Once I arrived, the guys were friendly, easy going and gave me time (alone) to inspect the car and to ask questions once I was ready. Long story short, I bought my GTI and I appreciated the no hassle process. Since I live in SF, they even worked with me to have the car delivered on the weekend (great customer service, right?) They're a new business, so their inventory is limited but let them know what you're looking for and they'll find it. Thanks, Rav and Paul!

When inspecting the car, the first thing I noticed was all the dog and cat fur. Till this day ( 3 months to the day I went thru this nightmare) I'm still finding fur. But that was the least of the issues that arised. A week had past and I informed them that the car seemed to be always searching for the proper gear. They said it's an EcoBoost thing and thats kinda how it operates. FINE. I settled with that answer. Then I told them that the rear doors were always stuck open... They said avoid going to Ford cause they will over charge but to have someone repair it and they'll reimburse me. Fine. Then I told them that it was missing the spare tire and hardware. They sent me a spare..that was it. On the 30th day I had the vehicle, the transmission failed. I called them and they said to just call the warranty company. Fast-forward today, July 17. My car was only recently given back to me. They said the shocks are leaking and need to have the brakes checked and replaced. I had the shocks and brakes replaced. Upon removing the The front right wheel, the hardware to the brake was incomplete!!!! These people have not responded to my calls or text messages. They were quick to take my $10,000 down payment, which was all the money I had and then some. Do yourself a favor and avoid Enzo Auto Sales at all cost. Personally, I should of dismissed them when I read their horrible reviews. In my mind I thought "they couldn't be THAT BAD". Fact is, they're worse. Don't let Charlotte's sweet voice trick you. She just wants your money. Nor should you believe what Eddy tells you. He assured me the car was 100% good to go with "new" brakes and all the fluids. I will continue to post all the hardships I go thru. Also note, I received registration stickers a few weeks ago.. unfortunately, the vehicle still had no plates to put on and at the time, I didn't even have a vehicle to put it on. Only today, after I paid more fees did I get a new plate issued to me with new registration documents. These people are evil and should be shutdown immediately!

I first found their listing online, which stood out as significantly better value than anything else I was seeing -- almost too good to be true. When I called, Deepak explained that because Planet Cars is a small lot with low overhead, they're able to offer very competitive, no-haggle pricing. He was upfront and clear: the car would be sold as listed, no upselling, no hidden fees -- just a fair price. I went to see the car, had it inspected at a local shop, and found it to be in great shape, exactly as described. We completed the deal that same day without stress or pressure. The whole process was easy, transparent, and refreshingly straightforward. The car has been running great, and we couldn't be happier with our purchase. Thanks, Deepak!
