After reading the article in Northshore Magazine stating that The Harvest's Bronto Burger was rated one of the top ten burgers on the Northshore I knew I had to go in and give it a try. I went with my tow children on a Saturday afternoon. I will say i was quite impressed with this Cafe. The Cafe itself is charming with a barn-like-feeling. The staff was extemely helpful and friendly. The burger was extremely moist and so tasty, not to mention larger than I would have expected. Sorry guys, I really wanted to like this place. I have been at least 5 times.. each time it seems like the experience gets worse.. and worse. Like, how do they not have ANY muffins made yet on a sunday morning at 9am?! Or how do they constantly run out of american cheese for sandwiches.. ? or white wraps and bread.. at 10am.. already out of something so basic?! Daily harvest used to have amazing food and service. Over the last few years everything has gone downhill. Their inconsistency seems to be main issue. Yesterday it took 20 minutes for 3 coffees to be made, because the staff is so untrained. They can't seem to get good help here anymore. I hope it turns itself around. read more

Really enjoyed our late breakfast. I ordered their Cafe Breakfast: 2 eggs, potatoes, ham, toast. Coffee and Toast couldn't finish it all. The wheat toast was very good bread. Noticed they had a lovely selection of muffins and cookies, coffees and cold drinks. My husband had an omelette his way and a yummy corn muffin! The servers and other staff were very friendly. Wow, what a treasure, discovering the Daily Harvest. We ordered the following for breakfast: a bagel, oatmeal, toast, eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes and coffee. Not only did everything taste great, there was lots of specialty in the details. The oatmeal was not instant oatmeal, this was good old fashion simmering whole oatmeal like you had as a kid. The toast comes already buttered, so you don't have to rip apart the toast (like I always do at home) the vegetarian sausage patties are the best I've ever had, I've had many. The coffee was just perfect. The Bagel was again buttered so no fuss and was delicious. The staff was bright, happy and you get the feeling they are excited to be there. You don't see that everyday. Lastly, I'd like to close my review by saying that me and family can be quite picky, we have a short list of places we enjoy going to and we are loyal. This is my favorite spot in Dancers. Their breakfast is delicious (sandwiches, home fries, eggs) and their soups are just dripping with homemade delightfulness. Their breads and coffee/espresso are very good as well. The staff are friendly and they have reliable WiFi, making this a good place to get a little work done on the go. The Daily Harvest is a great alternative to the other choices in town. What makes them different is that they actually make the food fresh in front of you. The coffee is great with many choices but the service and skill with making the espresso drinks can be very hit or miss. It is they know how to make a drink or they don't. I used the catering service at the Daily Harvest this past weekend and it was excellent. I called on Friday for an order I needed to pick up on Sunday morning (it was for 15 ppl). My order was ready right on time and the sandwhiches were amazing. I selected the signiture sandwhich option - my favorite was the Curry Chicken Salad. Out of this world! The order also came with wraps - everything was delicious. They even called me when I was running 15 min late to tell me it was ready, and brought the order out to the car for me when I arrived. I have come up from Miami at least four times a year for the past three years to visit family. We have always enjoyed going here until the last couple of visits. The service has gone down hill and was horrible yesterday! Who needs to pay their prices to have servers be rude to you and screw up your orders! This place is great! I'm in town for a couple of days and found this gem amongst many chain restaurants in the surrounding area. Nice little local place with a good vibe- it seems like a place that would have a strong local following. The menu is a good size and has plenty of sandwich/salad/soup options. I got the portobello burger and it was phenomenal! The bread was clearly homemade and the ingredients were fresh. I also had a smoothie and that was delicious as well. The staff was very friendly as well- I unknowingly snuck in just before they closed (at 7pm FYI) and they were on point and didn't rush me or make me feel like a burden for coming in so close to closing. I've been here a good handful of times. The feed has always been great but it seems like every time, no matter what you order, the wait time is HORRIBLE! Best burger on the North Shore, end of story! A much better alternative to Panera or fast food! Sandwiches are very fresh and delicious but the burgers steal the show. They have a cute patio in the spring/summer months and adorable decor inside. Kids meals are offered and the prices are acceptable for the quality offered. We went there when this place first opened and the food we got was not very good, but it was clean and the people seemed courteous. The atmosphere was nice and I like the theme they are going for, however there are several things lacking. The couple of times I went back with coworkers my food was made incorrectly, even after the long wait. Also, the girls that served me these subsequent times were not very friendly. The people seem kind of snobby actually and were rude to myself and several coworkers. I don't understand because I am paying some pretty high prices for a sandwich and an apple. Lastly, the grill/service area seemed pretty dirty as did the easily overlooked areas. I have been frequenting the Harvest for about 2 years now since I moved to Peabody... Same order 1 med ice coffee cream 2 sugars and 1 American Classic extra bacon. The food has and continues to be consistent never once making an error. The staff is friendly, some knowing my name and order.... Well my party received their food. I never did so I can't review the quality of the food but the service sucks.

My friend and I thought we would stop by and check the place out. Good thing it was on pay day because we got 2 sandwiched and 1 bottle of water and it cost $17.00!!! outrageous!! There were no menus to look at while you sit down so you have to crane your neck and squint your eyes to read the board on the wall. They were very slow getting the food out we had to wait probably 20 min and there were only about 3 people there besides the two of us. read more

I stopped in recently for a quick lunch and was disappointed with the inclusion of "creamy" dressing on nearly every sandwich and wrap. "Creamy" = doctored up mayonnaise! Even the great sounding thai wrap had "creamy" peanut dressing and the new unnamed sandwich had basil mayo. I'd expect that kind of thing from Panera as it is cheap and not very creative, but that is also the reason that I don't eat at Panera. I ended up trying the standard Chicken Caesar wrap and rather than nice tasty Caesar dressing, it was, you guessed it, mayo with some Caesar flavoring. Daily Harvest Cafe has been my absolute favorite place in Danvers. Unlike, Dunkin Donuts and Mcdonalds that are close in proximity to this place- Daily Harvest has an abundance of healthy options that are also delicious. I have stopped in there for not only their delicious Turkey Cobb Wrap, but I have also have been hooked on their smoothies and other frozen treats. The atmosphere is relaxing and it gives a great vibe to customers that choose to stay and enjoy their meal. Although it is one of my favorite places to eat, not everything can be perfect. The hours aren't ideal because there are times where I have gone, craving a wrap, and ended up realizing that it was closed. Along with that, it does tend to get VERY busy which makes parking a struggle because their parking lot is not very big. But, there are many ways to avoid the traffic jam by just parking at Walgreens and walking to Daily Harvest. Other than that Daily Harvest Cafe is a great place for breakfast or lunch and I highly recommend it! read more

I use to come here often for a muffin and coffee, bit it was so hit or miss (sometimes the muffins were hot out of the oven other days they were days old and inedible) so I took a brake. Went in this morning for breakfast and tea. I certainly don't mind paying a little extra for organic free range eggs but $12 for a small tea and scrambled egg seems excessive. If the staff had at least been friendly it wouldn't seem so bad. When my breakfast was dropped off the woman didn't even look at me. They had forgotten the cheese on my eggs and when I went up to the counter she ignored me for minutes. I stood there with my food in my hand feeling like an idiot. When she finally decided to acknowledge me she didn't even say sorry or let me fix that or anything at all she just rolled her eyes. When she dropped it off again she literally dumped it in front of me and stormed off. The veggie sausage which I paid extra for was ice cold, but clearly I couldn't send it back. There are enough other places in Danvers to get scrambled eggs for half the price and without the attitude, why would I ever go back? read more
