I've been to daily whisk a couple times and have loved every carefully curated drink I've ever tried. Today was a hapa latte with oatmilk, which is a mix of a shot of matcha and one of hojicha. The gals working here are always pleasant and really happy to give recommendations on their new menu items and offerings. Each drink is 16oz and about $9 average including a tip. They use pretty light ice, and their sweetener is local honey, which really helps the flavor or the matcha shine vs a lot of overly sweet matcha concoctions I've tried elsewhere. There is a small parking lot in front of the shop, which has cute shaded porch seating as well. Definitely a great treat if you're in kaimuki!

With all the recent social media reels about Matcha I figured id stop by one of the favorite spots in kaimuki and check it out. I went a little befire closing and was able to get a stall in front. They have a private lot that can hold approx maybe 7 vehicles. Im sure during the day it gets crowded. Its a cozy spot with a few tables. I got the strawberry matcha with oatmilk it was delicious and refreshing! Theres a small upcharge for oatmilk and along with a tip it was about 10$ a little pricey for a drink IMHO but it was good and service was friendly. Cute place for a matcha in kaimuki.

Heard so many good things about this spot and I finally got to try it when visiting back home. Daily whisk matcha is located at a house like building and there is a sign on the outside which is helpful. It's a small shop so it can get crowded and they have 2 outdoor patio tables. I ordered the guava vanilla matcha and my friend got the strawberry matcha. Upon first sip we both thought it was quite good but the matcha is very subtle. I do find that this is the type of drink you have to finish fast cause once the ice is melted it waters down your drink.

Drinks: We got a matcha latte with honey and a cafe latte. The matcha was solid, but could've used a little stronger matcha flavor and a bit more sweetness. Service: the person that took our order was nice and the drinks came out quickly. Ambiance: its a nice small porch area with some seating to relax and enjoy your matcha. Price: it was about $7 per drink which is pretty standard. Next time I'd like to try one of the fruit matcha drinks.

I've been abnormally craving matcha (because I was being lazy and not wanting to make my own at home) so I figured, "hey... why not patronize local matcha shops?" Soooooo, I've been trying all the different matcha locations around Oʻahu based on rating from IG. Daily Whisky Matcha was rated #1 by a lot of IG peeps. Of course, you know I had to try it. Since I was in the Kaimukī area, I made it a point to get there. The parking lot is relatively small with 6 stalls. It kinda looks like a house. You walk to the left of the building and there's a small window to order. There's open seating on both sides of the building. There is a small boutique store in the middle section that has cute apparel, tea things, and they had cute palaka bags! I ordered two drinks... because I ordered a classic- strawberry matcha AND I had to try a seasonal - guava vanilla drink too! I ordered both with oatmilk, but they also have macadamia nut milk too! The employees were really nice and pleasant. The drinks were made quickly and I was on my way. The matcha they use to really good. It's not as earthy tasting as other locations. Both drinks were super flavorful-not sweet. Perfect balance of blending fruit flavors with the matcha. I definitely agree with the IG ratings. Daily Whisk Matcha is amazing!

I'm a bit of a matcha snob and have tried many different cafes that serve matcha here on island. There are only 2 that I absolutely love and frequent very often and Daily Whisk Matcha is one of them. While there are many great cafe options to choose from in this area, daily whisk is always consistent and has great tasting matcha and flavors to choose from. The cafe is woman owned and the girls that work there are always the sweetest. The parking lot only holds about 6 stalls but there is plenty of street parking. My go-to order is either the guava vanilla matcha or the strawberry matcha sweetened with honey. I always look forward to coming here as a little treat to myself. This is the perfect place to grab something to cool you down or start your morning while sightseeing and shopping in kaimuki!

Ordered the strawberry matcha (less sweet) & hapa drink. Nice and tasty! Parking lot is 5-6 spots, line went by fast. Friendly service. Will be back again!

IDK what I was thinking the first time I went here - I love daily whisk! I know there's a serious battle between which of the Honolulu many matcha spots is the best, but Daily Whisk gets my vote. Their seasonal menu is always fun to try and I've yet to have a bad drink here, but when I'm not getting something new and exciting, I always go back to the hojicha latte. I like the nutty hojicha flavor better than matcha, and theirs is strong, creamy, and not too bitter. I come here every time I'm craving a matcha or can find an excuse to stop by in Kaimuki.

Matcha was good, will definetly go back to try the Lilikoi Matcha Soda everyone raves about. Short but sweet Menu. Cute atmosphere with little parking.

Parking can be a bit tricky here, but we were lucky enough to snag the last of the six available spots. The barista was friendly and offered some great recommendations for popular drinks. I went with the strawberry matcha, and it had the perfect balance of earthy matcha and creamy strawberry. We also ordered the salt and butter bun and the cheese and mushroom puff, and both were delicious, especially warmed up. There was even a local pop-up vendor selling banana bread, so we grabbed one to try. Overall, it's a great little spot for matcha drinks and tasty bites.

I love this little spot. Small parking lot, but never had an issue finding parking. Quality matcha with limited shaded seating outdoors, although finding a seat has never been a problem either. Menu has a great variety and some pastries as well. Baristas are friendly. I've tried Strawberry Matcha, Matcha Latte and the Lilikoi Lemonade. All were great. Idk if it's the tariffs or whatever, but it's gotten quite expensive. Normally, I make it at home, but I was already out last time I wanted a matcha, so it was great to have a go-to spot. I highly recommend this to matcha lovers, it doesn't disappoint! Yelp 2026 Challenge: 05/30

Drinks: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Love love loveeeee this place! Their matcha is the best on this island imo. The service can't be beat too. Our cashier/barista named Alexa was amazing and friendly. I like their strawberry matcha but I occasionally go for their seasonal drinks, which change every so often. Sometimes they will have other small business popping up. The only downside is the parking here. Their lot is very small with only 6 stalls. There are surrounding areas to park like other lots and street parking but I have gotten lucky in the days that I have gone.

I've been on a hojicha kick, and someone said that daily whisk has the best hojicha! I did not realize that it was located in a house in Kaimuki. There is a small free parking lot, but we parked in the paid lot across the street. On a Saturday, I ended up paying under $5 for a few hours. There are some tables to enjoy your drink. I got the Hojicha with vanilla. This was probably the best quality Hojicha I've had. It was super smooth and had the perfect amount of nuttiness to it. I wish they had more options for flavors (like a strawberry puree), then I would be coming here every week! Overall, very good spot for Hojicha, and the service is friendly!

A cozy corner in the heart of Kaimuki :)…read more I happened to find this place when I was searching for cafes around the area, and it did not disappoint. Honey Matcha Latte is my current favorite: just the right balance of matcha, milk and honey :) The vibes are so nice. You'll be greeted by the green green plants (which are actually for sale!), and then grab a drink down the hall. I also like how they have a "Sip & Chill Zone" where no ipads or computer work are allowed, so you can just relax and talk story. This is my favorite spot because I can just do some people watching by the window as I sip my matcha latte. It's a nice place to detach from the hustle even just for a while.

I do wish they did have more milk options though! I love soy milk but always have to opt in for regular milk. Other than that everything still tastes amazing! The service is top tier every time, and they even bring the drinks right to you. The staff is so welcoming and they really know their plants, so if you ever need help or you're hunting for something specific they've got you. If you're in town or visiting, it's definitely worth stopping by for a drink or plant!

Only metered parking along Waialae or street parking on the perpendicular streets. Inside was spacious and had an industrial feel with its concrete floor, metal chairs, metal racks, and with actual renovations in process in the rear of the space. Menu is floor level (sorry tall people!). There's a variety of coffee, tea, lemonade, blended drinks, smoothies, sandwiches, salads, its special Aloha Bread, and etc. There's a lot to read! There are multiple choices of bread for sandwiches (special bread shown next to the register. Be sure to check!). Needless to say, I took a long time to decide! The Breakfast Sandwich came with egg, bacon, ham, and American cheese. Chose the croissant, which was the smaller size variety. This was good with a generous amount of egg and bacon. It was a hearty sandwich. The Tuna Sandwich on Everything Bagel was good. Nice crisp on the bagel. A decent simple sandwich with fresh ingredients. I would have preferred more mayo and the canned tuna to have flavor. Regular brewed coffee was very good. Brewed very well with solid coffee flavor. Exactly the flavor I remembered when I first tried it. The star was the Kyoto Style Cold Brew. It was smooth, clean, bright, and strong. The flavor maintained throughout--even with the ice cubes melted in. Overall, a decent experience. The sandwiches were good. Coffee was excellent. Friendly service. Can't wait to come back to try more things and get more Kyoto style cold brew!

UGHHH i really wanted to like this place too. maybe i'm just more sensitive to espresso right now since i'm on my deriod
