We happily stumbled upon the sports book while staying at the L'Auberge casino & hotel. It was a…read moreMonday night so we easily got a table that overlooked the massive TV screen screens. There is a section to the side that does not have a good view of TV screens so make sure to indicate if you want a tv view when you arrive. They took us to a table initially on the side and we asked for a better view and they switched us tables, which was great! Food - we ordered the eight count chicken wings, which was more than enough for both of us because it's the whole wing, basically two pieces each. We also ordered the fries which are like potato wedge swirls and were lightly seasoned, which was good. Lastly we ordered the bourbon peach cobbler... Didn't taste a lot of bourbon and it definitely needed more bready texture but it was still good. I would say it's more like a peach pie.

The service was still slow (all casino restaurants seem to be super slow), but the food quality and quantity made up for it. I didn't get a photo of my friend's chicken wings, but OH MY! They were huge! Like carnival food huge. He said they were delicious too. I recommend the BLT - messy but delicious, the sliders (comes with 3), or the hot dogs. All very filling and could be split with someone or take what you don't finish to go. It gets loud in there on game day. We were there on a Friday and then again on a Saturday. Loud, but fun!

I stopped in here with a group for an early supper on a Saturday. It was busy, but there were still…read moreplenty of tables so we sat right away. I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered the Boudin Eggroll Appetizer. It included some Ranch dressing for dipping and the 4 Eggrolls it came with were the largest Boudin Eggrolls I've ever been served. They were also the best tasting. They had just enough cheese to keep them from being too dried out and were tasty. I would order this again if I was in the mood. Now I want to go back to try more things on the menu, but our server never came back to check on us after our order was delivered. I had to work really hard to flag her down to request a to-go box and a long time later to flag her down again to get our ticket and remind her about the to-go box. My advice is to try to get your ticket early if you can.

We ate here with friends. I wish I reviewed the menu before coming. Waitress was great. The post…read moreon their menu that shrimp comes from Argentina. There's gulf fresh shrimp within 5 minutes of the location. I ate the crawfish Étouffée, It had somewhat of a fishy flavor. You could tell the crawfish were bagged and not fresh. My fries were warm only. I asked where the fish came from, most places advertise catfish now and give you Swai. I wasn't willing to take the chance. Our waitress said it could be a while before she could answer that question. The shrimp order were soft, not firm. You could tell they were cooked in the crawfish boil, and were gritty. We ordered a burger that was mediocre at best. Crawfish order was fine. There are plenty of places around serving fresh local seafood to be eating food sent from Argentina. Save your money and eat somewhere else.
