Our group had a great experience here. This is a much cleaner Dairy Queen than the usual ones I've been to and the employees were very friendly. Our food came out promptly and nice and warm. The couple times I've gone through the drive through were also very prompt with smiling people. I'm really not sure what the bad reviews are about. Everytime I've come, the service has been on point and the food what you would expect for fast food. Only one time I didn't receive any sauces. But I also didn't ask for the taco sauces since they usually throw some in with the tacos. We just used our leftovers from last time. So make sure to ask for your sauces and the rest should be good. Counter service was good, but the guy seemed a little distracted but was friendly. I ordered a combo #1 and a hot fudge sundae (yep... I didn't order a blizzard). My friend ordered a deluxe nachos without meat (she's weird, I know). My burger was just alright. Nothing special and pretty flavorless. Fries were great and crispy. The sundae was great. Fries were old soggy n stale at the same time (didn't know that was possible) , my daughters cheese dog was just plain disgusting. Toast was chewy. Gravy not very hot either. Not sure why we had to pull forward and wait if the food had been sitting in fryer awhile. I love DQ in Kerrville and usually I can stomach even some 20 min old fries but this was just gross. When I asked about this, the haggard looking woman behind the counter stated that those deals were based upon the participation of the individual Dairy Queen's, and Fredericksburg did not participate.
