There advertising works -they had a sign out telling you about the watermelon salad and we did a full lap of the street and came back for that! It did not disappoint. The watermelon was perfect and the pecans were nice and crunchy My husband got lemon pepper wings and they were great too. The celery was trash but everything else was on point! This is exactly the kind of place downtown Fredericksburg needs. Let's be honest... after you've visited your 27th boutique, 14th home décor store, sampled wine at three tasting rooms, and somehow convinced yourself you do need another jar of peach salsa, you're going to get hungry. This is the perfect reset button. The menu is straightforward, the food comes out quickly, and you're back on Main Street before your spouse has time to wander into another shop full of decorative signs that say "Live, Laugh, Love." The burgers aren't trying to reinvent American cuisine with twelve aiolis, imported yak cheese, and truffle-infused unicorn dust. They're just good, satisfying burgers that hit the spot after you've logged a few thousand steps shopping. Service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and everything moved at exactly the pace you hope for when you've got more exploring to do. It's the kind of place where you can grab lunch, recharge, and get back to pretending you're only "just looking" in the next store. Is it the best burger you'll ever eat? Probably not. First time in Fredericksburg! My hubby and I walked the strip and worked up an appetite so we stopped into a burger joint along the main drag. We did have to wait in line outside a bit. It was lunchtime on a Sunday so that's understandable. We were able to sit outside under the heat lamps which we appreciated because it was a bit cold outside. Once seated, we ordered a burger with no veggies on top, just meat and cheese. And I ordered an appetizer bowl of chili cheese queso and chips. It took about 25 minutes to receive our food which seemed awhile considering the place wasn't very packed, there were empty tables everywhere and I ordered an appetizer not a main dish. But once I started eating my queso, oh my goodness! I fell in love. You never know if places will get queso right but this place did. There were chunks of beef and beans from the chili which made this feel more than an appetizer. However, my husbands burger came out with all the veggies on it. We didn't say anything to our waitress. Just took off the toppings. He said his meal was good but nothing eventful. He's had better. I actually loved my bowl of queso so much I asked if I could have another order of just the queso but not chips because I still had plenty. Our waitress then proceeded to come out with a condiment size queso and I was confused. It came not in a bowl but in those tiny cups you put ketchup or ranch in. I called her back to say I wanted the same bowl of queso just no chips. She apologized and came back with a bowl of queso but there was no chili in it like my original bowl. So I asked my hubby to explain to her I want the same exact thing I first ordered, just no chips because I hadn't eaten them all. She then came back with chili to add to it thankfully. But it took 3 asks to get the chili queso again. (As you can see in the photos) There was obviously a lot of confusion on her part which I had the grace time and patience before but I don't think others would have been so kind. All in all, I'd for sure come back for that chili queso. But maybe next time I'll order two bowls to begin with;) read more

Burgers, tacos and great staff....yes please! I came in on a slower Monday and had a total blast. I sat at the bar and tried the chicken tacos. The size and flavor of these babies were Texas sized. That cilantro type sauce on-top was something I would buy in a bottle to take for at home use. The selection of the food and drinks here was very impressive. Especially, since I like a lot of hard to find espresso type drinks. The lady helping me was named Tammy, I believe, and she made me feel right at home. She was fast and friendly and one of those I can tell is passionate about what she does. The patrons also were very welcoming and I was able to have a conversation about the flooding and missing people with a lady who came from that area of Kerrville. This will most likely become a go-to spot for me. I hope to come back soon and check out their beautiful patio area that has a great view of the action on Main street, as well as a burger and some desserts. read more

Not a good experience. Ordered online and the order was not even close, I paid extra for items and asked to leave some off. Everything was wrong. It was a the regular order, apparently don't expect your customized order. When I got there, the careless workers couldn't be bothered to even acknowledge me until I literally had to grab their attention. The burger is ok at best, the burger couldn't overcome the lack of attention the rest had. Not a place I'd go to again, hopefully the owner knows how little the workers care. read more

Yes, the burgers were still good but those wings will definitely bring me back for the next time I'm in the area. After several hours of browsing the shops of downtown Fredericksburg on a recent anniversary trip we ducked into Burger Burger for convenience since parking downtown can be quite challenging. Overall it was just ok due to food quality, absent minded service, & price. For the menu prices they're asking everything much be exceptional & it was just mediocre IMO. Neither of us were hungry enough for a full meal, so we split an appetizer & a smashburger. The appetizer was a pretty standard queso/guac/salsa & chips platter that was very bland. The smashburger was also bland with very little seasoning detected mixed in the burger patties & a plain bbq sauce working to combat the dryness of the burger. I was told the onion rings were made in house, but if so the recipe needs updating IMO also for lack of seasoning. In the end our meal at Burger Burger was serviceable & I have no doubt it would be for other customers, we just felt like the prices did not match the food & service quality. read more

The food was good. We visited this location on our last night in Fredericksburg and wanted a good burger. The service was quite a disappointment. We sat and waited for approximately 15 minutes before anyone came and checked on us. Once our server took our order, he delivered our food and we didn't hear from him again until we had to send someone to find him. The burgers were just fine for me here. I was expecting a bit of a thinner bun when ordering a smash burger. Lovely staff and plenty of outdoor seating if you have little ones.
