Finally - finally I have gotten to go to this location after YEARS! Mr. Gatti's was THE go-to pizza place growing up - they used to be located in a tiny shopping strip closer to the hospital. Every time I come down to visit my mom this place looks packed. I was welcomed warmly at the register, by which are conveniently located beers. This establishment caters to parents and kids, as there is a huge game room in the back. Beers and noisy kids can sometimes go great together. I paid, was handed a drink cup, and off I went. The salad bar was just around the bend. In front of it was a little station with plates, utensils, gloves, and hand sanitizer. All of the overwhelming amount of ingredients at the salad bar looked fresh. The ladies tending to the salad bar constantly fussed over it, making sure it was clean and presentable. I couldn't get over how stocked it was! There was also another side salad bar with dressings as well as cold desserts such as Jello or puddings for the kids. Past the salad bar was a small pasta station, but my eyes remained fixed on the prize - all the pizza. Trying to be good and meat-free, I grabbed a slice of cheese pizza and a couple of fresh cheese bread pieces. The cheese pizza was hot and fresh - the sauce and crust were perfect - it brought back so many memories of my ill spent youth. The cheese bread was good, but probably would have been better with some pasta and tomato sauce. Besides the cheese pizza, the multitude of pizzas offered all had meat, although they all looked delicious and well-topped. I then discovered that you can order a custom made pizza. When I asked for a vegetable pizza, the lady at the pizza bar informed me it would be ready in 7 minutes. And it was. That vegetable pizza comes out and is placed among the rest for you to either take to your table or just get what you would eat and leave the rest for everyone else. I tried not to let my eyes decide for my stomach but it was difficult. The pizza, as you can see, was loaded down with two types of olives, mushrooms, tomatoes, bell peppers and onions. The thin crust held up well, and there wasn't a lot of free space on that pizza. In the future, I will just order that from the get-go, as it was as delicious as any veggie pizza I have ever had. I give this place five stars for service, cleanliness, and for offering a safe sanitary buffet with ingenious solutions. Hand sanitizer and gloves everywhere, as well as clean spatulas for the pizza bar. They could have left spatulas out for people to share, hoping they would be wearing gloves, but with that many kids running around on the weekends, they chose a smart, safe route. I go once almost every week because my son likes the games. The salad bar is good. The pizza buffet is, more often than not, mostly empty. The pizza that is there will likely be cold and of little to no variety. Highly recommend if you like children's games and an overpriced salad bar! read more

This was my first experience with Mr. Gatti's but it was my husbands favorite from childhood. The food was great. Huge selection on the salad bar. Hot fresh pizza on the buffet. We came right at 11am. Many things put in place to keep you safe at a buffet for covid such as gloves for salad bar, single use pizza spatulas and of course single use plates as usual. Same with the cinnamon rolls, saw a few people eating some but always out when I tried. Parmesan chesse tasted very off...not sure if it was old or had been mixed with red pepper flakes. Pizza good. Just like every Gatti's. Arcade is a total ripoff. Very few games are "only" $1. Most games are $1.75 per play. And they charge $1 for the card that you need in order to play. Probably the nicest Gatti's in Texas. Huge place, lots of options. If you want them to make a certain kind of pizza just ask. (BBQ chicken, Buffalo chicken, and spinach are the best) The salad bar is big with lots of options, and they constantly keep it stocked. If you aren't a big pizza fan, like myself they have soups and baked potatoes. The game room can be pretty pricey. They keep everything very clean for the amount of people that they have come through. The only problem I have with this place is, on multiple occasions, I've seen the manager yell at the staff. When I saw they had a Mr Gatti's here I was excited about taking a trip back to childhood. It was a bust. The pizza was good but you aren't allowed to take Parmesan to the table. I watched a child take a used plate and spoon to the chocolate pudding on the buffet and use her eating spoon to scrape the chocolate onto her plate with the serving spoon. Twice. I told who I thought was the manager and told him he needed to remove the contaminated pudding. His only concern was who the child was. Like that matters. We went here for a birthday party and were surprised to see that everyone must pay before entering. Everyone is required to pay for a buffet even if you don't want it. I'm gluten free, so I wasn't interested at first, but the salad bar filled me up.
