I went here daily at one point. For a very young staff, you have some very helpful and nice kids doing this. There's this African American kid with little dreads that pushes his way up so he can be a jerk to me. No clue why his attitude is garbage. I'll come back and eat when he's fired. A shame too every one else is so cool. The food is hit or miss. Every order of fries I've had is mostly inedible. Cold or rock hard you could chip a tooth on. The burger is cheap and surprisingly good. It will take a bit for them to make it. (Fresh off every time) so be patient and nice to these kids. We were in the area on vacation, and we decided to stop at DQ for lunch. the first thing I noticed is there were alot of employees there. As we ordered our lunch they were lots of joking and laughing going on. they were more concerned about who spilled the soda then taking our order. We ordered and sat down. They took forever starting our order and there was a big discussing how to make the order they first made it wrong then to find out it was a different order. the whole time they were still laughing and joking. I walked back to the front and there was an employee leaning over the counter eating. After eating we went to get our ice cream and it seemed like they were making fun of us by asking what size and just made us feel small. 5:45 pm Saturday, plenty of visible employees in the store. No one answers at the speaker, so I drive around to the window. There are several employees, at least 5, eating and goofing around. I wave to get their attention. They work really hard to ignore me. I really just wanted a box of Dilly Bars, very little work involved with that order. I have given this place a chance more than once and get such bad service in return. This will be the last time I go there. What a waste of space. This place can't catch a break. When my wife and I moved into the neighborhood this place was closed down. Once it finally opened, we both got dinner and small Blizzards: the total was over $30! Also, every time since then that I have tried to get dinner there, the grill is closed or the restaurant is closed. Just like the rest of the restaurants on this road, they close at dinner time. The best thing about this place is the people that work there. Very nice and positive employees, they just need more of them. read more

The service is horrible. I went in at 915pm and their was three employees smoking out the door and I asked if the inside was open and they said no. One of them said " ain't nobody have the headset on, we tryin to get out of here" I was then told they closed at nine but everywhere said there store hours where till ten. So I got in my car got in line and then approximately 5 to 10 minutes later somebody came out and said they are closed and they're not taking any more orders because the machine broke. The whole entire machine broke is what they said seems like they just wanted to get out of there considering they just told me five minutes prior that they wanted to get out of there and not work and wanted to leave, this used to be a nice dairy queen. The whole trip was a fiasco. This is what happens when you have teens run the show. This location is always dirty and it takes forever to get served as well as get the correct thing. This place has continually gone down hill. Needs a new manager to do quality control as well as have a staff that has pride in what they do. This location has disappointed me now for the third time, I have an allergy to raw tomatoes, onions and lettuce it's real look it up. Every time I order my burgers without the veggies I ALWAYS GET THE VEGGIES. I order through door dash I tried the customize option, I also tried typing this in on the "special instructions " area. I used to frequent this place for my job. A client of mine always ordered a dipped cone. I've ordered the $5 lunch combos and pumpkin pie blizzard without excess whipped cream. I also like the Grape Arctic Rush Freeze aka Mr Misty freeze. The new snack melts are good. Service is good as we are the first customers at 11:00 a.m. I may stop in if I'm in the area again. Every experience at this particular Dairy Queen has been negative! Expect to wait in the drive thru for 45 minutes with only 1 car in front of you. The food is extremely low quality. The employees are extremely rude and disrespectful, customer service is not even a thing here. My most recent amazing experience is ordering door dash from this location. My dasher contacted me to let me know she was being told by DQ that my order was not confirmed even though I had a receipt and the order went through. After this DQ never produced the food to Door Dash. DQ later said the dasher was never even there. I along with the dasher attempted calling DQ, unfortunately they would not answer the phone. It is extremely unfortunate upper management/district management does not care about customer experience or quality of food at this location. I will drive out of my way to a different location. This was the worst DQ I have ever been to. It was a disgrace to the DQ name. It took 20 minutes to get through the line. THE LINE WITH ONE PERSON IN IT!!!!! Then when it was finally our turn, it took them 15 minutes to make two blizzards, but two blizzards wasn't out order. So they stick the blizzards out the window and one falls out of the cup. IT FALLS OUT OF THE CUP!!!! Then it took them 20 minutes to make our original order (2 hotdogs and an onion ring). So we finally get out hotdogs and they are cold, the buns are soaked with ketchup, and the cheese wasn't melted. They said that the onion rings would be a minute and they took like 15 minutes to make, not to mention there were like, THREE ONION RINGS IN THE WHOLE THING!!! I only go here because it's the closest location to my home but I get mad at myself every time. The service is the slowest I've ever experienced at a fast food place. If there are only 2 cars ahead of you in line it will still be 20 minutes before you get your order. You can never get the blizzard of the month because they never have enough ingredients. I've never been able to get gravy with a chicken strip basket. I honesty don't think they ever have it yet still advertise it. It's more and more frustrating each time I go. Let's just say don't go here. I used to work at this location as a first time job when I was 16 years old. Horrible working conditions were met. Seriously I think we failed health inspection like twice when I worked there. We found fruit flies in the Orange Julius and flies in general all over the building. The staff is poorly trained in and all the managers seemed to do was drunk, smoke, or watch football in the back office. We even had a manager at the time have sexual misconduct with a younger employee in the office and freezer of the workplace. I recommend going to the location on Lyndale because at least you know you'll be getting ice cream that isn't melted when handed to you. I left due to bad working conditions and management. We ordered 2 dilly bars and 1 large dip cone.
