I love going to Dairy Queen because I can always count on good ice cream! We got a large royal blizzard to split and it was good! The fluffernutter in the middle definitely wasn't a "core" like they advertise. It only went maybe halfway down. The toppings also don't stretch all the way to the bottom of the cup if you order a large! These are small problems in my opinion considering the quality of their actual ice cream. I tried to order a chocolate Oreo blizzard and they said they didn't have chocolate ice cream. So, then I asked if they had cheesecake ice cream. They said only had vanilla. So I ordered a hot fudge sundae. The amount of hot fudge on my medium hot fudge sundae was insulting. Not to mention it was cold. I will not be returning to this Dairy Queen. Customer service is severely lacking at this location. It took several minutes before somebody finally came to the register, he looked at me without greeting me nor asking what I'd like to order. The rest of the interaction was much the same; uninterested, bored, and bothered to interact with customers. The restaurant itself also leaves much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. Dirty tables with crumbs and melted ice cream all over, sticky floors, nauseatingly strong sickly sweet perfume in the bathrooms, lukewarm food. The new management refuses to accept any coupons (did not even look at the coupons or specify their reason for refusing the coupon) at all and mocked us and rolled her eyes when we asked why. I've been here a few times so far since I have moved in the area. I always love that they have the blizzard of the month. I'm also a fan of them branching out and trying out new desserts, such as funnel cakes, waffle bowls, etc. As for this location in particular, the drive thru always seems to be moving quickly and efficiently. While waiting for my last order in the drive thru, I noticed there were a lot of adolescents working at this location and lots of commotion, running and throwing items were occurring. It was laternin the evening, but there should be some order, especially with customers present. It doesn't have to be boring at work, but there is a time and place. read more

Here's something I shouldn't have to say: check the order before you hand it out the drive thru window. Here's something else I shouldn't have to say: when you give someone the wrong order, you put them in a bad mood. In order for that person to now get the order corrected is a HUGE inconvenience. That person is no longer going to enjoy your product today. You need to do something nice to make up for the mistake. Giving them a replacement order is not exceptional - it's the bare minimum. Yikes.... Horrible experience at this Dairy Queen. First after ordering through the drive through, I witnessed the employee grab my food by his bare hand and put it in the bag. He did not just grab the container holding the fries with his bare hands but he grabbed the top of the fries with his whole palm on my food. After telling my friend in the car, she then watched for her food and witnessed him do it with the fries, nuggets, cheese curds etc. We were absolutely appalled and disgusted. we then told a different guy whom worked the window with him that his coworker had touched our food with his bare hands and wanted new food. He replies "yeah I tell him this all the time" ...!!! YUCK !!!! After being told to drive up and wait in the front for our food, the register boy came out and handed it to us, I then asked "are there sauces in here" and he says yes and runs away. Okay, so tonight I do not feel very good about myself because of the way I responded to my service of product. While waiting in a wrap around the building line at the drive thru. I watched family after family park and try to go inside but doors were locked and chairs on top of tables. I even overheard a customer talk to someone who eventually came to the door after she knocked. She told him they only came out because it was posted that they were open until 9:30 pm and it was 9:12 pm and I saw online that they were open until 10 pm. Confusing?? I ordered a small twist cone and a medium hot fudge sundae with extra hot fudge. My total was close to $6. I get to the window and am handed a twist cone that reminded me of a smashed marshmallow (so much smaller than small) and my sundae barely had any ice cream in it. I almost threw both of them on the ground but instead handed them back and asked for a refund. Then another employee or a manager came to the window and said she would remake my order if I would like them asked what kind of sundae did I have. I stressed it was suppose to be a medium. She said ok. She gave me better looking items except the cone was still nothing like I normally get here when I order the exact same thing. I am posting photos of the remakes. I never write reviews but this experience was awful. We ordered a chocolate Sunday and a blizzard. When we got to the window the employee at the window was not paying attention and was talking and laughing with other people. It felt like it took forever for him to give me back my card. Then I was handed an extra melty chocolate sundae with chocolate all over the outside of the cup. I know it's supposed to be a little melty because hot chocolate sauce but this was unacceptably melty. It was like eating cold soup. When we got the blizzard it was also the same, cold soup. They didn't even flip it upside down like they usually do. While eating my sundae, I found a peanut.... We also overheard what I'm assuming was the manager try and tell everyone to clean up. She seemed stressed so I'm not blaming this on her. I used to work in fast food so I get it things aren't perfect but this was unacceptable behavior from the employees. I don't right reviews, but stop in on my lunch break for their 5 box lunch and a Smores blizzard. They seem to be short handed and busy,. Only reason have 3 stars because of the time it took. And only reason I'm leaving one period as I'm waiting for my number to be called. I see two lady's demanding half the staff attention for some party for a baby. I don't know what was said or not said,. But over heard one of the woman yelling at a lady making ice cream and the two lady's talking about something they said they over heard her say. They ask the lady if She was the manager she said yes and confronted her about what they say they over heard. I was next to them and did hear tell another young lady working to hold a second she will run back and grab it after she got this order done. I can see she was frustrated about being busy and no help. While the two lady was making fun of the girl making ice cream saying someone should of told it what gender it should of been. Then accused her of making fun of or whatever about the two ladies party. The girl in back apologize and told them she wasn't talking about them. And kept accusing her of what they heard. Then demanded their money back. I over heard the younger of the two say she going leave a nasty review and get it fired. Now this is personal to me as my daughter is transgender and I wouldn't even guess the lady working was until these two disrespectful woman put her down. Staff is friendly and efficient. But they clearly need a refresher on how to make their food. The last three times I have driven away from the drive thru only to find my peanut buster parfait made incorrectly. It's made with hot fudge, ice cream and peanuts. Not hard. First time it was made with chocolate sauce not hot fudge. The second time it was made with the chocolate that they use for dip cones. It was literally impossible to eat as the whole thing was filled with rock hard chocolate. The third time they had put so much extra ice cream they had to give me a cup to put the extra in. I have came to this Dairy Queen three or four times over the last two years. It is always the same extremely slow with a bunch of kids running it. Where is the adult supervision Warren? It took me 25 minutes to get a grilled chicken salad while I watched 11 cars go through the drive-through at 1 o'clock on Sunday afternoon October 7, 2018. If you have a laid-back Sunday afternoon this is definitely the place for you but if you just want to stop and grab something to eat and keep on going you need to find someplace else. I just don't see how businesses like this stay in business. read more

I am embarrassingly enough a connoisseur of Dairy Queens across the nation, and this one is perhaps the best, certainly in the top two! The ice cream is the good kind (some DQs get the bad kind), the Blizzards are mixed generously, and the kids working there are shockingly friendly and competent. read more

Unsanitary! The cashiers who handle money also handle the food...with no gloves! At the display window there is a sign saying "please do not grab food from tray, we will serve you" While waiting near the window for our ice scream the same girl who handled our cash when we paid touched every single spoon in the bin by the part you put into your mouth- not the handle!!! YUCK! She then stuck her finger right into one of our blizzards and tried to hand it to us as if we didn't see her. I awkwardly said " can i please have another one made? you just stuck your finger in my blizzard" She looked at me as if I had 2 heads?!?! I gave this place 1 more chance after this experience with no luck- the place is filled with teenagers who are not properly trained with no adult in site to help when an issue comes up. I used to love this location but the recent change in manager has made this restaurant go downhill. This new dude is very confrontational and doesn't like it when a customer has a coupon. The first time when it didn't work at the drive thru I was refused the buy one get one free blizzard and had to go inside for it to work. I was then told that my phone was the problem when clearly it was something with the drive thru computer. My second visit I once again had to deal with this manager and had a coupon for 3.99 chicken basket. I ordered one with a drink and was then told that the drink would be extra which was fine. When he charged my card and gave me the receipt the total was 6.90 and I was like "What about the coupon?!" and the dude said it would have been the same amount with a drink added separate... basically telling me a soft drink is 3 dollars extra. I told him to take the drink off and gave it back to him. He then realizing he was in the wrong refunded me for the entire order and said I needed to find a different restaurant to go to cause I caused too many problems. Can a manager or even any employee for the matter say that to a regular visiting customer?! I hope they get a new manager quick cause now I constantly avoid one of my favorite restaurants. read more
