HEALTH RISK! My friends and I came in about 15 minutes before closing and ordered a few small Blizzards. We understand it's close to closing time and tried to be quick and respectful. While waiting, I saw an employee put his mouth directly on one of the Blizzards before bringing it toward the counter. When he realized I saw him, he took it to the back and threw it away. This was extremely concerning and inappropriate behavior, especially when handling food. Some of the staff were laughing while handing us our order, which made the situation feel even more uncomfortable. I understand being frustrated close to closing time, but food safety and professionalism should always come first. I hope management addresses this. There were so many people working today, but orders were wrong left and right. We got two cones dipped in cherry and one cone with sprinkles. The dipped cones had vanilla instead of chocolate. The cherry dip was...transparent and barely there. They were announced as "strawberry cones". We asked them to redo these. Round 2...the chocolate ice cream was so pale and tasted like vanilla. The cherry dip still super thin and now bumpy. We gave up, went outside and ate our ice cream. I think training is needed at this location. read more

3 small cones, 1 vanilla with rainbow sprinkles, 1 "chocolate" with cherry dip (the chocolate was a faint chocolate milk color and didn't taste like chocolate), and 1 vanilla with cherry dip. The cherry dip was lumpy and barely coated the tiny amount of ice cream on the cone. The cost? Over $16 dollars. When I went up to get the two dipped cones, I looked at them, laughed a bit, and then asked the kind gentleman behind the register, "Take a look at these. Do these look like they should be served?" To his credit, he said, "No, we can remake them" which they did. I really wish I took a picture. The smalls resembled a kid size and the cost was just bananas - not to mention the lumpy dip that clearly was not stirred and heated properly. Would have been one star had they not remade the cones. Ordered a Blizzard about an hour ago through the drive up. Had a bad experience once before so thought Id try again. What I got was a cup of melted ice cream with a bunch of whole pecans on the bottom. I don't argue paying $7.75 for a medium BlIzzard but this place earns a one star from me. If I was close by and looking for a Blizzard fix, I would travel a bit further and go to the one on rte 1 in North Attleboro. PS The manager responds as if she is clueless. Overall: The line was very long at the drive thru. The blizzard seemed over mixed and don't have any of oreo pieces but was fine otherwise. The women at the window was very nice. It was my first time at Dairy Queen. I have been waiting to come and try the mint blizzard forever! It was raining and the drive thru line was so long. I came with a friend who said the drive thru, an other wise cool feature, was always packed which seemed counterintuitive considering it's suppose to make things faster. They had lots of options some of which were suppose to be seasonal so I was very impressed. The women at the window was super nice and ordering inside probably would have been better. They hand it to you in a bag with lids so it would be easy to grab and go. The blizzard was to be expected. A sugary vanilla soft serve but I liked the light mint. The Oreos were very ground which was disappointing because I like Oreo chunks. The texture was the same throughout and it was very meaty, I couldn't imagine it in 90° weather. I got a mini but do wish I got a bigger size. I liked it. It was fine and what you would expect. I would rather go to one of the homemade places nearby though. read more

The best fast food locally ! The Foxborough Dairy Queen is a family owned franchise. The son who took over is one of the hardest working businessman I have ever meet. Over the years, I have seen him doing every aspect of the job. He is a great example to his young employees. The meat is still flame cooked in the Dairy Queen tradition. The French Fries are always crispy. The ice cream is classic soft serve and the crew strives to met your requests. This location will also personalize a ice cream cake for you. This great food and service is now available year round. Initially, they closed in the winter, however, the dedicated staff suggested they could cover that and now it's open throughout the year. Speaking of great staff, Rhonda has been wonderful over the years and reflects the dedication, warmth, and professional service. The facilities have been updated a number of times in the over 20 years of our visitations. The bathrooms are clean and modern. The inside eating area is air conditioned. The outside are is great in the summer and is decorated for the holidays in winter. There is an ample parking lot with outside benches. The demand was so great over the COVID era that they added a 2 lane line for the drive through. If you like good "fast food" and respect family businesses, consider stopping by. We will be returning to a site of some of my son's best childhood memories ! read more

Took my honey to a late lunch we was there about 2:30. We had some lunch and specials double cheeseburger with french fries in a sundae and a drink. We also had the chicken tender dinner with french fries and a beverage and I chose to sit if I see my shows a blizzard which was a dollar more. I got the Banana Split Blizzard. Sorry that we ate before we forgot to take pictures but it was more than enough by french fries with nice and hot and crispy the burger was a little well cooked but edible still kind of burnt around the edges everything was fresh tasting the chicken tenders they give us four in a package cuz they change the size instead of being three really big ones they gave us small ones but they use a fourth one. But it was hot and fresh more than enough to eat didn't end up finishing the french fries we brought them home to have for a snack later. We got a pineapple sundae for dessert made with lots of fresh pineapple and vanilla ice cream and I got my banana split Blizzard made with chocolate ice cream that way tastes more like a banana split with hot fudge it has lots of chunks of pineapple, bananas, cherries in it it was so good it hit the spot by the time we get done eating it was close to 4 we had sat in the back of my truck just watching all the people standing in line in their vehicles to get drive-thru. We didn't we drove around the building parked in the space and walked up to the front and order from the takeout window it takes a lot less time. Whole total was $12 + tax cool. All the kids were excited to work and they were very friendly understanding explainable of everything not much has changed except you couldn't go inside to use the bathroom or to pick out your own cake like usual but they still selling the frozen ice cream cakes and their Novelties like Dilly Bars and sandwiches excetera send it. Since I am from southeast Louisiana I SOOOOO miss snow ball stands (that are open year round, sigh), and I have had an insatiable craving for a great snow ball (read, shaved iced with syrup in a styrofoam cup). I knew the closest I would come on an April afternoon in New England would be DQ and a Misty slush. I pulled into the drive thru and was greeted by a great voice made even better by the fact that every weekday from 2-5 it's happy hour and a small Misty Slush is $1. SCORE!! Except, no...the one that I got was like cherry koolaid. Only 2/3 slush...disappointed. I know it was only a dollar but I was hoping this would be a regular stop for me prior to work during the summer. I'm actually DONE with this Dairy Queen. It's never been my favorite location (it's been the complete opposite!), but I've been trying to be lenient and am done. Over the years, they have done lots of renovations to this Dairy Queen. Added a drive thru, made it open all year round, and recently they did a complete makeover of the exterior, but unfortunately, sometimes continuing to make improvements just isn't enough. The specific location of this Dairy Queen is horrific. The parking lot (if you even consider it a lot) is tiny and there is a traffic light pointing the wrong way at the entrance. Cars think they are supposed to exit there since there is a traffic light, however they just block the entrance by waiting for the light to turn green. At the actual exit, there is a no left turn sign, so you have to go all the way up Route 140 and go around the rotary to come back down. Ugh. There are a few parking spaces around the building, but don't park there if you don't want to get stuck! Cars frequently back up in the drive thru and therefore block these vehicles if trying to back out of their spaces. The actual parking lot is located in a ditch behind the building that isn't maintained well and consistently smells like trash (since there is a huge dumpster there). For the restaurant in itself, it hasn't been updated in years and is tiny. They have done some slight renovations to the cake freezer but otherwise the booths are old and the restaurant isn't kept nearly as clean as I would prefer (and I'm sure the Health inspector would agree). The outdoor seating is nice, but the line goes right out the door anytime this place is busy due to there being such a small space to order. You walk in and have maybe two feet before the ordering counter. Service at the drive thru is hit or miss. Sometimes you'll wait five minutes just to make an order, other times you'll be waiting and waiting and waiting (while who the heck knows what's going on behind the mirrored in window), and then on rare occasions you will actually get decent service. In general, prices are higher than other DQ locations and they have a new sign saying they cannot allow cell phone coupons (what's the problem with that?). The main point is that this Dairy Queen sucks. No doubt about it. Even after all the renovations it just doesn't work. They should just move to a new location with sufficient parking and a well sized eat-in restaurant. The Ashland Dairy Queen is definitely my preferred location. It's updated, is located on a huge lot (tons and tons of parking and a huge drive thru lane, as well as easy access in and out), consistently provides outstanding service, and prices lower than this one. Make the scenic drive over there if you actually want a good DQ experience. This one is far from that. 1 star. read more

Just a typical DQ, however, this one just had a new remodel in the last five or so years. They have a small inside counter with an extremely awkward to read menu (it's kind of stuck on the side where the line/registers are) and a few frozen cases. There are a half dozen or so tables and booths inside. This area was basically given a fresh coat of paint in the remodel and is very similar from what I remember as a kid. The outside has a larger counter but I've never ordered out there. They also put a big patio in with picnic tables and umbrellas. It looked like it was fenced in so the kiddies don't run directly into 140. There is tons of parking in the plaza and the servers are standard. They were pretty nice when we went last night. Their hours say til 10 but they were still serving at 10:30 without complaints which was awesome. The manager was cleaning up but the other employees were cleaning/serving. My BF's blizzard was the wrong size and the girl at the counter was totally fine to remake it, when I'm sure she'd rather be going home. The food is typical DQ. It's very similar to Sonic but they have way better ice cream while Sonic is better for food. I do remember DQ onion rings very fondly though!! read more

This is the closest DQ to my house, so I go to this one most often, but I prefer the one a few towns over much better. This DQ is small and the people they usually have taking the orders are very very slow! The food is good and the ice cream is good, it's just the experience of going there could be better. Another thing I noticed about all the DQ's I've gone to, are the prices have gone up so much. It's about 9 dollars for the large chicken basket and almost 7 dollars for a burger combo meal. She starts yelling over my friend asking what we wanted to drink.. We had to tell her 2 and then she starts giving my friend attitude about the honey mustard who does that.. This has to be one of the few Dairy Queens left in Mass and is situated on Route 140 parallel to Route 1 near Gillette. It is sort of hidden but if you seek it out, it is not hard to find. The place looks large on the outside but really has a very small seating area and most of the place is the kitchen. The menu of course consists of burgers and fries and ice cream, from soft serve to Blizzards to cakes etc. Prices are right and they take credit cards and they are open year round! Glad to see Dairy Queen is still around! read more
