Never been to a Dairy Queen but I was craving ice cream or a smoothie or something sweet. Happen to drive by and see this Dairy Queen at 10:30am this morning. It looked closed so I drove to the front door and didn't see any hours posted, so I looked online to see when it was supposed to open. Online said 10am for this location and it was now 10:40am so I drove up to order. I was there for 5 minutes and no one said anything. I drove through and noted a closed sign on a window opposite of the door but there was no hours on that either. I got my fix at McDonalds right down the street instead. Wow how Dairy Queen has declined! They give me the wrong order at the drive thru and when I question it, the pseudo manager (person in charge for that moment) comes and yanks the food out of my hand and tosses it in the trash. Without a word! Silly me, if I was assisting the customer, I would apologize and give the right order. But what do I know - I'm just a customer that will never visit that location again. read more

We came in today 2/21/2016. When we were ordering our dessert, the register turned off The cashier didn't know how to fix it and blamed my daughter for supposedly touching the register, very rude! How can they blame a customer for their equipment not working properly? Come to find out the register's switch on the bottom of the machine doesn't work and the machine shuts off by itself. Be careful not to stand too close to the register when ordering your food because if something goes wrong it's going to be the customers fault! read more

Consistency is a huge issue here. I now only go when I have killer coupons so as not to feel ripped off when I order a blizzard and get a cup of ice cream with a tiny sprinkle of something or other on top. The customer service is hit and miss as well. It quite literally depends on who you get that day. I can't help but think their training methods are sub par since I refuse to believe that so many young people find it acceptable to be rude and uncouth at work after being properly educated on customer service. They actually talk poorly of customers at the drive-in window as if they would have jobs without someone to buy the product. This place is perhaps two tenths of a mile from my house and I will still drive to Yogurtland nine times out of ten. The tenth time, I have coupons. read more

Had a car full with an order of a shake, a blizzard and 2 sundaes. The drive thru girl was extremely rude first of all! The waffle bowls for the sundaes were stale and for a store full of staff huddled around the drive thru window the service was awfully slow. I usually get good service and food from here but haven't been in a while and got this...I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon. read more

I went this past weekend for a last minute (literally last minute) birthday cake. Unfortunately none of the cakes were what I wanted, but given my lack of planning that was expected. One of the girls, who's name I didn't catch, helped modify one of the cakes they had in stock so it can be closer to what I wanted. This Dairy Queen seems to be very busy all of the time! The reason I'm not giving the place five stars was because of the messy eating area, and the terrible smells. I would have giving the place three stars but a certain worker made my trip very enjoyable. This worker was being barked numerous amount of orders from a tall long braided hair female who I can only assume to be the assisting manger. She wasn't just barking orders at him, she said these things as if he was an animal, with attitude and no respect whatsoever, and through all this he kept a smile and was immensely kind. I tried to give half a star but it wouldn't let me. The customer service here is HORRIBLE!! The owner Margie is completely unprofessional and does not stand behind her product. Anyone would be better served to enjoy their cool treats at any other DQ location. Dairy Queen really needs to be careful who they allow to franchise because establishments like this tarnish their great reputation. The terrible service was one thing, but the fact that the ice cream tastes and look nothing like other Dairy Queen's I've been too is enough to make me NEVER return. We visit this Dairy Queen often as we live nearby and love their soft serve. We've always had pleasant experiences here until about 2 weeks ago from today. I had ordered 4 different items and they were repeated back to me correctly so I assumed everything was good. When I received my order at the window, there was one item missing. I informed the worker and then a different worker came to the window, didn't get her name but she was older with very short brown hair. She explained she'd have to charge me for the missing item separately which was obviously fine. I clarified again that it was a vanilla cone Dipped in chocolate. She came back with a plain vanilla cone. I corrected her once more and she rolls her eyes at me while letting out a loud obnoxious exasperated sigh. Wow! Excuse me but she's the one that got it wrong twice now. I was never rude to her once during the whole interaction. Very unprofessional and just plain rude. Please do some retraining with her or she will cost you more customers. It's funny because all of the other young adults have always been great and kind. Went and got a Reese's Blizzard. Always good. Only complaint is sometimes you will get one with a hole in the middle, anyone who experienced knows what I am talking about. When you get the sinkhole you get less Blizzard. Fix that and it could be a 5 star. read more

To whom it may concern I am extremely disappointed with the customer service that my family and I received Sunday March 11th. My family and I approached the location at 9:55. One of the employees whom I assume was the manager or shift lead, was extremely rude. She looked at us and said "Excuse me!" We are closed. I looked down, at my phone and it was not 10:00, the door was open and there was other customers in line. I understand that we approached the location 5 minutes prior to closing, however, as a store manager, I am aware that as long as it is not closing time, or the doors are closed, we have to assist the customer unless we are having technical issues. She also could've said they were closed in a much more appropriate way. I still stood in line, she looked at my family member and I and said once again, "excuse me, I said were closed." I politely asked her, for her corpoerate number to which she responded with "you can find it online!" I then looked at her and said. "Excuse me, may I have your name," she also responded with "you can find it online!" I have photos that prove it was not 10:00 when we got there. There's a photo I took after humiliatedly being kicked out, and it shows 9:56. I look forward to hearing back from you guys, and I sure hope something is done about this situation. It is not okay to treat people like that and this is a situation which could have been handled a completely different way. As mentioned before she did not want to give me her name as she walked away as I attempted to speak to her, however she was a middle-aged Caucasian female. She had short platinum blonde hair, when she mumbled her name all I heard was it started with a D. After letting her know I would be contacting corporate in regards to the service that was provided to my family and I, she turned around and sarcastically said, "well thanks for letting me explain." I've came to this Dairy Queen a couple of times and each time I always end up leaving disappointed. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, I asked for this blizzard and the worker wasn't listening clearly and kept asking to repeat myself then they try to play it off and claim that they've "never heard of it" (it's clearly on the menu!) I was so frustrated I just gave up and just ordered something else. I ordered a Choco Brownie blizzard, so when they were handing me my blizzard it was spilling everywhere. It was just an absolute mess. I left as fast as I could and when I pulled into the driveway at the place I was staying at, I realized they BARELY put like 2 pieces of brownie chunks or chocolate pieces. It was just plain chocolate ice cream. I called and tried to get what I should've gotten then the person on the phone said they were very busy and just hung up. Like really..? Previous time that I've came here, I ordered a Cookie Dough blizzard and I waited until I came to my place to eat it. They used peanut butter cookie dough instead of the regular. I guess I wouldn't have been that mad if it actually tasted good but it tasted awful and the vanilla ice cream tasted so weird (didn't even taste like vanilla) I come to this Dairy Queen because it's the closest but now I don't think it's worth coming here at all anymore. I cannot believe how rude their drive thru attendant, named Araceli, was. Yes, i got this womans name because I already wrote to corporate about her rude service. When i entered the drive way the first thing she told me was "you can order when youre ready" i said "okay thank you. I just need a minute". After figuring out what i wanted i said "excuse me" to which i was replied with " I told you you can order when youre ready" in the absolute rudest way possible!!!! I was in shock for a moment at the rudness. When i told her i wanted a blizzard she said "WHAT SIZe" i capped that because it was the undertone of attitude that came with it. I really hope this Araceli girl is repremanded for the attitude she has. It takes one rude person to turn off people to come back, i actually drive out of the way for DQ but you know what at this point id rather just go to baskin robins down the street. This Dairy Queen always has a huge line but the line does go down very quickly! I have never encountered a rude employee here. Everyone is super friendly and thorough with ur order. I reason I give it only 3 stars is because I went in and ordered a banana split to go... when I got home I noticed that one of the bananas was very brown so I was just gonna cut the piece off but then I kept cutting it and it ended up being the whole banana that was rotten. It had like a dark orange center and the rest was brown so I was upset cuz I'm sure whoever cut that banana saw how bad it looked and still served it. Me and my kids had a sweet tooth so we went to Dairy Queen tonight. I ordered them sundaes and got me a salted caramel blizzard with added cheesecakes bites like I've gotten plenty of times before. First problem when I get to the window and give my card the girl hands it back with the 2 sundaes and says have a good night. I informed her I also had the blizzard which she then states she forgot to charge me for so I look at my receipt and hand her my card again. She then hands me the blizzard and I start to drive off. Before leaving the drive way I take the first bite and taste something off. Thinking it's the chocolate chips I take another bite and realize there's walnuts in there....which I'm allergic to and does not go in this blizzard. I turn around and go in and asks the girl at the register can I switch it for something cause I didn't think walnuts came in it she asks the manager, mike, who replies we can do it this one time but since there's nothing wrong with it we can't do it again. I then tell him ok, but I've gotten this a few times before and didn't think walnuts came in it! He said yes it does... and then the girl at the register looks at him and goes "No, there's not supposed to be any in there!" He then rolls his eyes! She informs me there no walnuts supposed to be in there and someone messed up! The manager did not apologize or anything and walked away. I can't see how he's a manager and doesn't know what goes in the blizzards! Now I'm sitting at home popping Benadryl because my mouth and throat are irritated from the walnuts and my kids sundaes were melted by the time we got home because of the wait! read more

After ordering my usual sundae I sat and watch the employees as usual. On this day I watched the owner bark out commands as usual, but today for some reason there ice machine wasn't working. The manager was bringing in bags of ice and setting them on the counter for the employees to store. I then saw the owner take a bag of ice and smash it on the filthy floor a few times to break it up before putting it in the ice bin of the soda machine. She then lifted the bag onto ice bin opening/counter, ripped open the plastic bag then placed the dirty bag INTO the ice bin and pulled up on the bag so the ice wouldn't spill out. She then took the plastic bag and walked away I'm sure to discard the bag. I payed particular attention to what she did and walked over to the counter and looked on the floor and saw nothing but dirt, crumbs, wrappers, etc. this is normal at a food service location. But not breaking an ice bag on a filthy floor then setting in the ice bin. I called her out on it and her explanation was that she had a plastic bag on the floor before she broke the ice. I was expecting her to say "oh yes, your right I'm sorry I'll take care of that right away" but that wasn't the case. Not a good example to set for your employees, we all make mistakes. read more

Went there as I normally do with my family and I was utterly disappointed with the service I got. I ordered a Arctic Rush Float for myself and my son. The Arctic Rush was disgusting! I took a sip of it thinking I was going to get a rush of refreshment, and I got a taste of watered down unappetizing grossness. I told the girl at the window that the Arctic Rush did not taste good and I did not want it, she replied. "well that's the way it came out", I told her all I don't want it and then she said well we can make it again, and not even 10 seconds later she came back with the same exact Arctic Rush and said here you go. I then handed her back both Arctic Rushes and told her i did not want either of them. You don't tell a paying customer well thats the way it came out so here. If I am paying for something, I want exactly what I paid for, not some mediocre version. To top it all off, we also ordered a waffle bowl sundae with a chocolate dipped bowl and they gave me an undipped bowl. Customer service is something this location needs to work on. I think I will just drive down to Riverside to go to Dairy Queen, for I will not give this location any more of my money. read more
