DAIRY QUEEN | MISSION VALLEY This place never gets as best as it can be. The location itself is pretty solid, free parking and it's right by the structure. There can be long lines in the summer, but i specifically came on Cone Day where it was free throughout all Dairy Queen's in the participating ones. This location has an awful management where they kept all the flyers up for the cone, and didn't even manage to remove them so they continue to build a whole line until a customer shouts to everyone in line that they ran out and you have to pay full price for a medium cone. The worker didn't bare to care and said sorry and then went to go remove the flyer for the free cone day that has been promoted for quite the whole day. The people aren't the kinded, no gloves, space is messy and dirty, and they want to rush you out of there. I ended up purchasing the medium cone full price since i was in line. Wouldn't recommend stopping by here if it's a busy day, because the workers just don't care enough.

It's Dairy Queen. Service was good, small space inside so it's better to take it to go. Can't go too often or you will gain weight. Tip: if you're looking for smallest get the Mini instead of Small.

I am so glad that DQ purchased Orange Julius. I just love all of the different Julius flavors they have here, but what I really love is the blizzards today when I came in, they had their Valentine's Day special which was a "triple truffle" it was made with chocolate sausage ice cream to die for. It had a malty effect! I had a really hard time not ordering my favorite, which is the take five bar that they still had. I really hope that Take 5 stays on the menu and not just as a special. The service was really fast and very friendly. The inside of the store is really clean and you can tell the employees take time (and are so so friendly!) to make sure this place looks nice and every customer is happy. When I'm at this mall I make it's point to be sure to make a stop at the Dairy Queen. Oh also, my husband had the watermelon orange Julius and it was absolutely delicious the best of the three orange Julius as we ordered! All were as expected but the watermelon one is stellar!

I came here with my friend for their "free cone day." There was no line at all! I opted for the chocolate dipped cone, which was only 50 cents extra. She got the regular vanilla ice cream. The swirls were perfect and it was a great little treat during our lunch break.

I was craving a sweet treat, so I knew DQ was the place to go!!! I got a frosted animal cookie blizzard, size small. I love when they flip the blizzard upside down - just goes to show how thick the ice cream is. The flavor was reminiscent of the iconic frosted animal cookie blizzard and not overly sweet. I was able to split the small size with a friend, and it was the perfect portion size. My treat was made before I even paid, SO fast!! They recently remodeled their store, giving it a very modern vibe. I am looking forward to trying their other special flavors soon!

I came here to try the new churro dipped cone. Sadly, I was a bit disappointed because it tasted a bit like plastic. It was made up for because they had cupcakes with their famous cake fillings that I love!! This location is a bit on the smaller side as it's located in the mall. The service was very slow.

OMG this is the worst organization ever. They have a line out the door and prioritize online orders. They only have two people working and they are sweating and stressed the poor workers. Management and owners are greedy. Hire more help.

Was running errands and decided to pop in for some ice cream. I had the turtle blizzard and also got the chocolate brownie to go for my colleague. Delicious!!! Cashier/ice cream maker was very friendly, asked a lot of questions and thorough with the order. She gave excellent customer service.

My friends and I were just looking to get a coffee in Little Italy, but when we walked in and saw all the delicious treats we had to try something else as well. I ordered a latte and neglected to tell them it was for here so I was given a paper cup, but they give real cups if you ask. The decor and setting is cute and quirky, including cow sculptures hanging upside down from the ceiling. There were only a couple other visitors when we arrived, as it was near opening time. Our dishes took a whopping 35 minutes to be ready, and service was not very friendly nor helpful. Luckily, the music playing through the speakers added a nice vibe to the place, songs like Our House by Madness and Can't Fight This Feeling. We ordered the brunch pizza (with eggs cooked overeasy) and the breakfast flatbread which looked almost identical when served, as well as an iced mocha. The quality of the pizza was pretty average, and the eggs were slightly overcooked. The drink was really good, made fresh, with a smooth taste and a nice sweetness to it, the plastic cup coated in chocolate sauce. It tasted more like chocolate milk with a hint of coffee, which I personally enjoyed. They typically serve gelato here, but it would not be ready till almost two hours after opening time. So no milkshakes or cold desserts were available in the morning this past Sunday (no worries, Ghirardelli is just a block away). I appreciate the variety of menu items offered here. But they really should communicate online that their gelato's not ready till two hours into the day. If there's one thing that irks me about an establishment, it's failure to communicate appropriately. Even though our recent visit was somewhat disappointing, I still gave 3 stars, assuming this was an off day for them.

I thought it was tasty as well as their coffee, however my coffee wasn't filled up all the way. It is strong and their roast is bold! I liked it a lot, although a lunch meal can get costly so it would just be from time to time if I were to revisit.
