My first time ever at Dairy Queen. Me and my family where on the way to the store when we spotted Dairy Queen along the way so we immediately stopped. They have a vast variety of choices and ice cream's selections so choosing which one to order was hard. The service is pretty fast and the queue doesn't get too long and moves pretty quick. I decided to order one of their signature blizzards (the ultimate cookie one), a size small was a decent amount of ice cream for the price it sold for (apparently 6$ after tax). They have the best soft serve ice cream as a location, but nothing beats B&J when it comes to flavor and creaminess

The people were friendly however I purchased a medium size ice cream cone that was most equivalent to a kiddie size ice cream. If they are charging 4.95 for a medium cone then it should present to be as such. read more

What a sweet, friendly attentive young lady who waited on us! We asked her questions about a few of the choices, and she explained them in a very calm way, with a smile on her face. These are the employees that businesses need. She took her job seriously, got our orders accurate and presented them in a cheerful way. You know what Wooderson says, right? "That's what I love about these Dairy Queen girls, man. I get older, but their short shorts stay the same length". Short... Scandalously clad distaff staff aside, this is hands down the best Dairy Queen you're likely to find in the southern suburbs. Run with lean efficiency, nothing but ice cream on the menu, four windows open at peak times - they are all business here, turning over the teeming hordes at a rapid fire rate. What I'm saying is, don't be discouraged by the lines - you won't wait long. And for some reason I can't figure, the soft serve ice cream - ice MILK, actually - here just seems better than that offered at other DQs. Don't know if it's the machines, or they add a little something in on site, can't figure. Their blizzard machines are better, too - also inexplicable. But I like a little mystery with my indulgences. This is for the manager: The young girl working today around 1230pm (5-15), is rude. I sat in my truck for about 10 minutes and watched her grumpily take orders, and was snappy at people. Not one person tipped her, and rightfully so. I got out of my truck and politely gave her my order and again she was short with me and overall just seemed to hate her job. I worked in the food industry for over 10 years and would never think to act that way to customers. read more

I wish more of these places existed....... What a quaint Dairy Queen location! Lying right on the Avon / Brockton is this good 'ol fashioned Dairy Queen. This location doesn't have a drive thru, an interior seating area, and doesn't have anything but ice cream (and doesn't completely have that....). YET, this location does have that "neighborhood" feel, and is one of those old places where you walk up to the window and get ice cream. Staff are friendly and kind. Ice cream is well priced (and much less than other locations). And they have a good (key word) selection of ice cream. Overall, for one of the older Dairy Queens, with walk up, I definitely prefer the Natick location as it has a full ice cream menu, hot dogs, and a full drive thru, and being a neighborhood location. The Brockton location could definitely improve, but it's a great spot in the area! Overall, 3 star location in comparison to the Natick and other Dairy Queen locations. read more

This Dairy Queen has been owned by the same family since I was a boy - and I'm 47 years old so that's a LONG time! They always employ college students, really nice neighborhood kids. This particular location is walkup window only (no dine-in) so that means no food - ice cream only. But that's fine because there's nothing better than a Dairy Queen BLIZZARD! I have great memories of walking to Dairy Queen on warm summer nights to get dipped cones... good times. There are always plenty of people working and on busy nights all of the windows are open so you won't have to wait too long. The owner always keeps the property well maintained and clean. The only problem is the parking is very limited. read more

This is the best Dairy Queen around. The prices are better, and the quantity has the others beat.

I stopped by this afternoon to buy an ice cream and I was waiting in line. A customer in front of me was arguing with the guy serving her ice cream. I guess he gave her the wrong kind of ice cream- not what she asked him. When she told him she wants to return the cone and get the kind she asked for, he said "I don't give out free ice cream "- the poor lady was paying. Then she asked him to speak to a manager. He said HE WAS THE MANAGER and he is not giving out "free ice cream". Then she asked to speak to the next in charge and the guy refused to give her his manager's phone number. I was just witnessing this and I can't believe the lack of customer service. Needless to say I didn't feel like ice cream after witnessing this. No business should treat their customers this way and if this Frank(or whatever his name was) is indeed the manager, the owner should start looking into his managerial performance. Buying ice cream is all about the experience and in this case it was a terrible one for at least 2 people: me and the poor lady who paid for an ice cream she did not like. read more
