Leila was the meanest lady I've ever dealt with. I came in 10 minutes to close, to which I walked in on a scene of her yelling at the patrons in front of me because the closing time on the website differed in 30 minutes to the actual closing time (not customers fault, and everyone came before they officially closed.) Once she was done with them, she shouted out to ask if anyone else would like to be served. When I approached, she was dismissive, harsh, sassy, and overall unpleasant to be around. Several other customers share the sentiment that Leila must be released to ensure quality customer service. Ice cream was great though. read more

We attempted to go to a DQ with a drive through, but they were closed so we came here. Luckily, they opened at noon. There were well drawn out areas for people to stand in order to social distance. The tables and chairs are roped off at the moment, so you must carry away your order. The employees all had masks and gloves, and made the food quickly and efficiently. I like this DQ. I do come here often in the summers. I love the blizzards. This time, I got the frosted animal cookie. It was very tasty and reminded me of my children's preschool days, very nostalgic. They placed the food on a tray, and even made sure the spoons were placed on a napkin so they did not touch the tray. The blizzards were enclosed inside a plastic top. It was early in the day, but customers already started to line up. Everyone seemed curious and social distanced. As I love ice cream, I'll be back! read more

This is gonna be a short review. This DQ has great hours, friendly employees an they made the cotton candy blizzard all winter long. My kids love this flavor and most others only had it during the summer. If you are looking for another flavor, I'd recommend the Oreo Cookie Jar blizzard. Chunks of cookie dough. Yum! I have ordered the same thing nearly daily for a bit and have resorted to buying my own topping to put in after I get it because there is almost zero candy inside my blizzard. I tried ordering (and probably paid for) extra extra candy in the hopes of getting some in it, and only once did I have any to speak of and even then it was not much. The blizzards have changed a lot. This is just icecream with a hint of candy. We even took one back because there literally was nothing visible when you scooped into it a few times. The employee said, "Well, maybe it's all at the bottom". I've tried to see if it's all at the bottom multiple times but it never is and by then it's too late. Im not sure it it's all blizzards or all locations but the Walled Lake location is the same, the orderd I've gotten do not have even have half as much candy in their whole blizzard as they show on the top of any blizzard picture I've seen advertised. read more

I'm not particularly fond of the lick up situation. I mean I get it, it's cold out, so no one should be riding ice cream from a place catered for warm weather. The back to back trips to the car since they refused to answer the phone for me to ask is a bit of an inconvenience for someone with little ones. This location is open seasonally so don't try and go in the winter. The local urban legend was that when Kid Rock and Aerosmith were touring together, they all rode their hogs up here for ice cream from Kid Rocks house. They messed up my order horribly for curb side pick up, tried calling them multiple times to no response. I left a message 4 hours before they closed and no call back. They forgot one of my kids ice creams, no big deal. I went up to the window after I looked to make sure everything was there. They were nice up to this point so all was well. I got home and realized that the messed everything else up on the order. I know I had the right phone number because it was the same one I used to tell them I was there for my pick up. Hi we were at your local Dairy Queen today and we wouldn't get in line because of your lack of masks and social distancing. I called to place a curb side they refused. I also explained that they are not enforcing social distancing, their exact words were we have no control over it. That is completely wrong and disgusting. We left and went to a local ice shop. Dairy Queen that I have been going to ever since I was a kid. It looks old and is a bit slow, but it's definitely a staple to that mini-downtown area. It's an outdoor seating only location though so you need to plan accordingly, especially if the elements are against you. On a nice night, it's good to sit back and relax. I find it funny that on the sign when I was there, it said there was a showing of Finding Nemo, which was nowhere to be found so we were joking around about it with others that were sitting in the area. read more

I used to love going to this dairy queen. I would walk there all the time after enjoying a nice hot summer day. I have never had a bad experience here until a few days ago. I ordered my normal chocolate and m&m blizzard, and while looking through the little window I watched this worker spit into someone's ice cream. Her name was Amber. I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed he wasn't there. So absolutely disgusting. I will never ever ever go here again. I might be generous with this rating, but since this location was open on Easter Sunday unlike other ice cream shops, I'm a fan. The weather was gorgeous, so there was definitely a line, but the service was quick and the desserts were perfect. This Dairy Queen is the best! I always go here after marching band, hockey or just cause I want something sweet to eat. came here on a thursday night not busy at all, had to wait a while for my ice cream, but the rest of the people i came with got theirs. me and my friend went up to the window to ask for my ice cream and the lady started yelling at us, her name is amber. she yelled at us and was swearing at us. and we politely just asked for my ice cream. she told us not to come back here and continued to swear and yell at us in front of many other customers. they continued to give her dirty and weird looks after the fact. very angry and upset and will not be coming back and will make sure to tell everyone i know not to come here. surprised such a huge franchise would hire such a person! read more
