Usually I don't go to this location, however tonight I did with a group of friends. Ice cream was delicious. Server wasn't honest - she did not give the full amount of change due. The individual I was with gave her a $20, to which she only gave back $1.01. Total for 2 ice cream cones was $8.99. I don't know if this young lady has been working at DW for a while or if this is her 1st season of employment there. What she did was wrong. Even after asking why we only got $1.01 back she kept saying "you gave me a $10". Nope. I watched the person I was with hand her a $20 bill. This employee knew exactly what she was doing. I'm truly disappointed with what occurred. We did not get a receipt either. In order to get the rest of the change, we were told to call and speak with the manager/owner of this DQ location. She should've paid close attention when ringing our order up, but no she didn't. An extra $10 is sitting in the drawer tiller - that should have been given to us.. I will NEVER set foot at this DQ again. Can't trust anyone to give the exact amount of change without being distracted. read more

Food is great the service is impeccable and the ambiance is like any other but meant for kids would recommend this place no matter what.

The ice cream here and the staff are amazing, but the little gnats relentlessly attacking and biting the people standing outside are a huge issue. It's almost unbearable to wait more than a few minutes because of how many there are. They used to have a bug zapper years ago, not sure why they got rid of it. I don't want to stop coming here but the gnats might make me choose otherwise. read more

I had been CRAVING...I mean CRAVING a dilly bar for the last month or so, and the DQ up in Cromwell doesn't have the cherry kind, so when we saw this DQ last week, I immediately pulled over, marched up, and got my dang dilly bar. A place for scream Damn it, I admit it; I love Dairy Queen. I have been hanging around beaches and DQ's all my life. I have eaten zillions of blizzards, peanut buster parfaits and dipped cones. I ain't about to stop now. This particular DQ has been here a long, long time because I remember coming here years and years ago. It's conveniently located on Rt. 1 and has a nice big parking lot but it's really just a take out place. No burgers or tables inside, just a few little benches out in the open. That's all right, it doesn't matter. It's still a Diary Queen and therefore gets 5 stars. read more

Easily the best ice cream around. Although it is DQ, it's the service that makes it unique. Run by a team of sisters, and manned by the DQ crew, they really do well managing the huge crowds that flock here in the summer. Us locals tend to visit during less opportune times, but the girls are always happy and make the order perfect every time. Watch out for the long lines, even though they move quick, and the fact that there isn't much for seating, just a few picnic tables. There is no indoor service here, it's a walk up window...the way it should be. If the parking lot is full, park across the street. If you're in the area, it's a must. read more

Very bad slow service,didn't flip my blizzard, then when Acknowledged they didn't flip my blizzard the first employee ignored me then the second said okay In a rude way and didn't help, they have a policy that's if not flipped then a new one is free. i called ahead to ask what time they were open until as it was sunday night and i assumed it would close earlier than usual. I was told that they were open until 9:30 so I thought perfect i can bring my younger brother for ice cream before they close! Then i got there at 9:00 and was told that " they shut the machines off" this was frustrating as i had called before and was told 9:30. this was extremely frustrating as i had called ahead of time and drove there assuming i had time before they closed as i was told that i did. read more

If you want a dipped cone or a sundae then I'm sure it's a good DQ, but if you want a Blizzard I don't recommend this Dairy Queen. A few people in my group got Blizzards and most of them were basically a cup of soft serve ice cream flavored like whatever topping they wanted in it. We are all used to getting a Blizzard with nice big chunks of candy pieces in it. Not here... It was almost as if they were blended so much that whatever candy was added to it was turned to dust. I had a Reese's PB Cup blizzard and there wasn't one "chunk" of peanut butter cup in it. It was a cup of soft serve that had some very fine remnants of peanut butter cup mixed in. Maybe it was a one time thing but probably won't go to this one anytime soon to find out. read more

They have good Ice cream but we just ordered a cake from them, and it was just not good at all. We were very excited to get the cake as our family member was visiting, and we were trying to celebrate their birthday. There was a big hole in the cake with just a lot of cookie crumbles taking over...it just didn't seemed to be put together nicely. I just suggest that they take more time on their cakes. I really like ice cream and in fact, Dairy Queen, but this particular location is staffed by unfriendly people. I have come here many times, and on many occasions, i have had horrible service and when trying to ask for a new ice cream (the one i ordered) i am always met with snarky responses and a lot of the time, a lot of trouble changing my order. I would rate Dairy Queen in general a 4 stars, but this location does not live up to the normal standard of Dairy Queens i have visited. read more
