I've been watching too many Korean shows yah! That craving was real. Definitely got my fill from the grilled to the stew intestines. This restaurant does what the name says it does best. Seriously if you've never tried you need to. Price is steep for just intestines but we really enjoyed it so it's worth it. They also cook for you which is nice so you don't undercook. Dallas combo 5/5 This was the smaller combo of intestines. It was good for 2 people. We actually shared with 3. It was good for us to try. Intestine stew 5/5 Was spicy! Very tasty. Had a good amount of intestines. Good to share amongst 5 people. Each had a bowl or 3 lol Beef fingers 5/5 Sliced and good to share. The intestines combo was small so we added these and it helped fill us up Shrimp fried rice 4/5 Large bowl and lots of shrimp. Ban Chan 3/5 Could be more selections. We had 5 people but we only had one set of each so we ran out quickly. Cheese corn 4/5 Good Tofu soup 4/5 Light good.

Staff service was excellent. We ordered the Dallas combo and a side order of beef fingers. The beef finger were good. The Dallas combo, it was not what we expected. I would have preferred if they did some seasonings on them. While i know thats why there are dipping sauces, it was not enough for combo to have flavor. The banchans were good. They cook the meats for you.

This place reminded me of Korea! (Disclaimer: that's hard to do for me...) We had the "Dallas" combo and we also added extra "yang" gopchang at the end. It was delicious! The service is impeccable and they grill & cut everything for you! Loved chatting with the owners sister who is originally from Seoul. They were very prompt and didn't bother us too much. I asked for garlic, jalapeños and they offered samjjang! Of course, we had fried rice at the end. Wish we lived closer to enjoy this more. Highly recommend for locals and visitors!

I love grilled intestines. So for my birthday, boyfriend took me here. Ambiance was nice and quiet for a Thursday evening. Everything was yummy! Service was great! I'd come back because I don't think there's another place in the DFW area.

Came one day with my family since my sister really likes intestines and wanted to try this place out. We weren't too hungry so we ordered a little but was told that the quantity of the food is a lot. The service was good and everyone was nice but I felt that the quantity was pretty little compared to what the waiter was telling us. And it's a bit pricy. We got the small intestine but it had the stuff inside it and wasn't clean and later was told the big intestine is the one that's cleaned out and better so I would try that if you go. Either way I wasn't in the beginning an intestine fan and my sister who is thought this place was just okay and too expensive for the little quantity which I agree.

I had high expectations for this place because it has so many good reviews. However, I was so disappointed. My table ordered the large intestines and the abomasum. I've had both before multiple times and other restaurants. The meat here had some sort of toxic smell and I was able to smell/taste it even after they were cooked. The service here was interesting. The servers kept coming to our table and would cut the meat raw. It was so raw that it wasn't even cutting through but the servers would just force cut and tear it. I do not recommend going here.

Love this bbq spot. It is less known, but it definitely deserves a top 3 spot in DFW area. It is NOT all you can eat, and a bit pricy but it is definitely worth the money! My friend and I get the Dallas combo when we go and it fills us both up fine. The intestines are really fresh and isn't frozen like when you order them from other bbq places! It really makes a different in texture and flavor. The server typically grills the meat for you, so you can relax and enjoy your meal. The combo also comes with a decent size of sliced onion, a couple slices of mushroom and potato (I think). This location is a little past HMart SuperMarket, but only a 5min drive. Highly recommend this spot to all foodies that is crazy for authentic kbbq and good quality! Can't wait to come back.

I can't imagine going anywhere else to get my intestine fix. Hasn't failed me yet from the couple of times I've been here so far. Service was always great for me whenever I went. They know what they're doing when they're grilling the intestines for you and were pretty fast considering they were grilling for other tables at the same time as well. Interior has booths and circle tables with a grill in the middle of the table. They had a vent above almost every table but you'll still end up smelling like meat when you leave. It also had a modern flair and going for dinner, you'll get a lively mood from all the people. Our go-to is the gopchang and the daechang set and they've been good quality for the looks and taste of it. It wasn't really that smelly.They provide various dipping sauces. My favorite is their secret sauce. It looked like 1000 island sauce but can't confirm, but it cuts through the grease great. Comes with standard banchan of kimchi, green onion salad, cheese corn, etc. The kimchi was a lot spicier than other places so just a heads up. Also comes with a side of fish cake soup which ends up also helping with that sharp grease from the intestines. We also got the $3.99 fried rice add on that you can add towards the end of the meal. It was just okay. Standard Korean-style fried rice that was pre-made in the kitchen that they just place on top of the grill. If you've already filled yourself with white rice, you can pass on this. Overall, a place we'll be constantly going to back to get that intestine goodness.

Intestines your jam? Then this is your place. I appreciate the different texture and sometimes the taste but not usually the first food I pick. However when you have those "tired of the same stuff nights..." Our group ordered some beef "parts", large/small intestines and finished with some fried rice cooked on parchment paper. The initial sight while fresh can be disturbing if not used to it but after the ouside has cooked to a nice golden brown, and this is important unless you appreciate more funk, then it is much easier to enjoy this overlooked "delicacy" . I thought the gopchang was not bad since it did not have a strong by funk. They sometimes wash intestines with soap and do not rinse enough which can be just as bad. Any rate quite clean or prhaps the soju and beer masked the distinct notes of internal flora. The green leeks and sesame oil made a nice condament. Side dishes/banchan... Meh. The meal ended with fried rice cook on parchment paper. This was actually my favorite food of the whole meal. I sat in amazement wondering when this paper would suddenly light on fire but no. I have no idea what sorcery this material possessed but it did allow a great crunchy/soft rice ratio with what seemed to taste like bonito flakes infused within the rice. The service was pleasant and relatively attentive. I will say the price was a bit higher than expected. 1 Beef parts,1 large intestine, 2 small intestines, 1 other gastrointestinal section, 1 fried rice, 1 soju, 2 coors light beers came out to $140. A nice specialized place for intestines should you have the stomach for it. One note, I was surprised the unawareness of spacing during this time of Omicron COVID. This variant spreads so much easier than previous variants. People were seated in booths next to each other with the back of head space literally less than one foot away and no physical barrier. Please ask to sit at a different table or you may be emptying out your gopchang or worse... My rating scale: 1=Stay home and fast or eat dirt 2=I am psycho hungry and someone is paying 3=Average and I am hungry 4=Tasty yum yum! 5=OMG, I ate my fingers too

Food(2.5/5)- I heard this place a lot from my friends and I decided to try but I wasn't great experience than I expected. We ordered tripe, large intestine of cow, prime rib-eye, flying fish egg original. I only could eat only large intestine of cow and there's must not any of smell. That's only way I can eat but this place was little of smell but not too much. Prime rib-eye was amazing soft. Always I ate beef in Texas, never disappoint. I would recommend you should try eat flying fish egg original in this place. It was really fantastic and I could tell number one menu in this restaurant but anything else not the best. I had been eat better elsewhere, specially in LA. Service(2/5)- our table waitress was terrible but she was only kindly. I personally thought she worked this restaurant for only few days and she just doesn't know how to served it. She was cutting our large intestine right away even that's not fully cooked. I told her to waited for few mins and than cut but she refused my request and she said it's scissor problem and she changed scissor but still same problem. Also she tried cooked our rib-eye same pan of Gopchang without any of asking to us. Wt it totally not good service I never ever experienced elsewhere before. I had to asked them to changed waitress. When we took a trip to Dallas this weekend to attend a wedding, my SO and I made plans to stop by Dalgopchang to enjoy some intestine BBQ. We certainly came by a good time on Saturday around lunch, when the restaurant was not yet crowded and the server could have been more attentive to the BBQ. We just ordered the Dallas (2-person) combo to try out the selection first. The combo included large and small intestines, and also some tribes. Also included were 2 side dishes - Fish cake soup and Corn cheese, and some veggie species on the BBQ. The banchan side dishes were 3 small plates of the very cheap sides. I'm not sure but Korean restaurants in Dallas seems to provide downgraded banchan compared to other cities that I've been to (including my hometown Houston), such a shame. To me, the intestines and tribes here lacked in flavor. The large intestine did taste very fatty as expected, but the small intestine tasted quite bitter. No salt/flavoring was added to the meats as I could tell, and the 3 dipping sauces they provided did not really go well with the innards. The corn cheese and fish cake soup were so-so as well. Overall, we ended our meal without ordering any additional meats, as we were not satisfied with the combo. Too bad, I must say, NYC and potentially LA are where good gopchang is at! Tl;dr: Meat lacking in flavor, not worth it with the price.

Went here with my fiancée because we love Kbbq. I used to work at a kbbq, and this one felt just like it. Everyone here is super kind. They cook for you at this kbbq which is awesome! At my old kbbq job, thats what they did also, and it makes the experience with your party so much more enjoyable since you're not so focused on cooking. So, thank you so much for taking care of us! As for the food, we got the rib fingers which are marinated in a sweeter sauce. Sooo delicious! We also got the Daechang (large intestine) and it was also delicious! We had corn cheese, fish cake soup, and their extremely spicy stir fried noodles. Everything here was so good, I would highly recommend to anyone that likes kbbq or Gopchang. Be careful, the stir fried noodles are pretty spicy, but very delicious! read more

Ordered the Texas Combo (gopchang, daechang, makchang, tukyang) which comes with kimchi fried rice (fried rice is cooked on the grill again after you finish the main course). The intestines don't seem like they're boiled or pre-cooked beforehand, which makes them less tough and not over cooked like the other gopchang restaurants. There can be a wait, so come prepared... but try it regardless, short of Korea or LA, it's the best gopchang in Dallas. read more

I just love gopchang, but it wasn't that good. * our waitress burnt all of our gopchang - I understand they are busy, but our gopchang was overcooked and burnt. * It was so HOT!!! My friends were sweating as if they are in hot sauna or they are being soaked as they were dining. We couldn't possibly eat more food or drinks. We had to walk out without our stomach full that we just went straight to Hanshin next to this restaurant. * Fried rice was so blah. It was just bonito flake type of thing mixed in rice with MSG. Never going back here. read more

I tried this place out because a friend recommended it, and said their intestines are good. Usually I'm skeptical of trying intestines at places because sometimes it's not prepared right or isn't clean. But this place takes the cake. I absolutely loved the intestines here. We ordered the prime rib finger, large intestines, and tripe fried rice. I do have to say the bbq options are super small portions in our opinion. We were still a bit hungry leaving the place. But the food is AMAZING. the side dishes are good and the kimchi is amazing and a bit spicy. Best kimchi I've had around here. The dipping sauces are just as good too and the soup it comes with. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend this place and come again. I loved the service and all the food. It had exceeded my expectations. read more

The one and only gopchang (intestine) place in Dallas, and they do it right. My go-to is makchang and daechang. They also have chicken feet with spicy sauce. It's super spicy but very flavorful. If you are into Korean bbq and want to explore different Korean food or be adventurous, I would recommend Dalgopchang. read more

I've been to this place twice e since they opened. The interior is nicely decorated and designed. The gopchang tastes fresh and not boiled which is great so all the insides can stay in place of the gopchang. We had the dallas combo each time which is not enough for 3people so we always ordered extra gopchang. The fried rice served at the end is the only thing I did not care for. First time we had it was way to bland. Tasted like just rice with minimal kimchi pieces cut into it. The second time we went it was overly salty. Someone over did the oyster sauce. But other than that very good experience. read more

I am a huge fan of grilled intestines. So, this is my go to place whenever I want late night grilling. It is on the pricier side and definitely a group type of place. Its so great for drinking and chilling with friends. I usually get the dallas course and of course the fried rice at the end. They also have these rice shaped course (I forgot the name of it) that is so freakin good. Food tastes great and the place is great for socializing on the weekend (I mean weekdays too if you are into that) read more

One of my FAVORITE places to go eat! Never thought I would enjoy grilled intestines so much until I came here. I usually order the Texas combo with extra pepper and garlic on the side! They give you fish cake soup, cheese corn, and banchan to go along with your food. Don't forget to order soju and beer so somek!! read more

I love it here! We're always greeted and seated promptly. The food comes out quick and they always cook it for us at the grill, which is nice because these cuts of meat require it to be fully cooked. The service is great and the food is great as well. The price can be on the higher end but for the quality, service, and considering that there's not a lot of places that specializes in intestines, I think it's worth it. They also come with a good amount of side dishes. read more

So checking out the Korean bbq scene in Carrollton my gf and stumbled across this place, we saw that it had good reviews so we tried this place and it turns out their specialty is intestines lol. Im use to intestines being deep fried and lightly salted but this was a different experience. We got the special that came with four types of meat, and two of the four were intestines, I wasn't really a big fan of it, but definitely a must try, the texture is hard to get use to but definitely worth a try. read more

I've been waiting for this place to open because there is no place that serve "makchang" which is my favorite. this place was crowded but we were able to get a table within a short waiting time. they brought out what we ordered in a reasonable time but took a really long time to bring the corn-cheese and the odeng soup which was a bit of disappointment. nonetheless, the food was great and they cook for you (even tho you do have to wait a little longer til it's completely cooked to eat). the makchang tends to get burnt a bit faster but it was probably our fault not to lower the burner so I'm sure it's ok as long as you know how to work the burner. it is a bit expensive for the amount they give... but I'm pretty satisfied. read more

I visited Dalgopchang late Saturday night (around 9PM) and it was pretty busy late Sat night! There was about 8-10 tables occupied. *warning: you WILL smell of korean food afterwards!!* There were 3 of us and we ordered the "Dallas Combo" ($49.99) - which consisted of: small intestine, large intestine, heart, tripe, and rectum. Fair warning, eating organs is not my cup of tea, but my siblings LOVED it in Korea and when we found out this place opened in Dallas, they wanted to try it. So I was semi-forced to go. I did eat at least 1-5 bites of each variety though! Food: My favorite personally was the large intestine. My siblings also loved the large intestines the most and the heart was also good for them. If/when we go back, we'll probably just order the large intestines. The large intestine basically taste like the fat of the pork belly. While the server was cooking the small intestines, it squirted out liquid!!! It was funny, yet really deterred me from even wanting to try the small intestine...We also ordered the "prime rib finger", which is right up my alley. I enjoyed it a lot, but it was a bit chewy. Apparently, you should order rice after and they can make fried rice and it's SUPER delish because of all the fat from the grill is absorbed into the rice. As for the sides, they gave us fish cake soup, kimchi, and CHEESE CORN (MY FAV!!!)!! Service: The service was AMAZING! :) Everyone was so nice and attentive! read more

Dining during Covid, safety guidelines. Food is a liltle bit expensive but worth the money. It was pretty hard to find a good gopchang place until this place opened. Some may think they are expensive, but cleaning intestines is a lot of work and their price range is similar in South Korea as well. I found out that their spicy stir-fried intestine () is a hidden gem of their menu. After pandemic, whenever I crave some gopchang, I order take out of stir-fried intestine and fried rice, and heat up the fried rice on a pan to make the rice crispy. It goes really well with the spicy stir-fry intestine! read more

Intestines and various innards (gopchang) are some of my favorite kinds of Korean BBQ, so I was thrilled to find out this place had opened up recently in Carrollton. The servers will grill your chosen meats at your table for you, and they also include an assortment of banchans (free sides) including some Korean staples plus cheesy corn. Favorites: Large intestine and small intestine. Tip: Ask for the authentic Korean bean paste sauce. They don't bring it out by default, so be sure to ask for it if you like it. Skip: the onigiri style rice balls were just OK (a bit mushy and bland) and would have been better toasted / fried yaki onigiri style. The rectum (yes, rectum) was a bit too tough and hard to chew. The wait can be long, and service can be slow on busy nights. Overall, I give the flavor an A+ though and can't wait to come back! read more

This is the second gopchang place opened in the area and I'm glad it's further away from Hmart. Just much easier to get to and park. The interior really resembles what you would expect from Korea. We ordered the first combo and spicy chicken feet, and fried rice with special tripe. To start off, the chicken feet was way too spicy but nonetheless delicious to eat. I was able to intake it with the banchan and corn with cheese served in the beginning. The combo came with all types of tripe and small/large intestines and I'm so glad that there was a lady cooking it at our table constantly. It was perfectly done and easy to eat since they cut it nicely too. If anything the table service is 5/5 for sure. For regular kbbq goers this is definitely a good change of taste. The meat was not any harder to chew and it was flavored just right with the sauce. To end our meal, we got the fried rice with "special tripe" which is one of the meat that we grilled. The rice was omg good. I wish I could eat it for lunch every day. I recommend getting the first combo and the fried rice if you're going as a couple. Overall, the meal was fantastic and I'll definitely be back for more next week. read more

This place is not enough space for a big of group of people(5+) so make sure to make a reservation especially on the weekend. The food was very good! They had large and small intestines which I love! We order so much plus 6 soju bottles that the owner gave us a free entree (Prime Rib-eye) on the house! It was deliciously tender. I recommend the Texas Combo if you have a big appetite and go with a group of 4 or more! read more

Best place for gopchang! Visited this place on my birthday night~ order small intestine and large intestine~~~ it was soo good~~ Servers were on point~ they grill the whole thing for you and let you know when the food is ready to eat. The meal come with some corn cheese and soup on the side... It was my fiancé's first time trying the place.... it is exotics food but overall he did enjoy it This place is not your regular korean bbq but defiantly good place to chill and catch up with you friends. Really didn't experience the hype you see on these reviews. We had a girls' night for three of us and ordered a Dallas combo - comes with four-ish types of intestines and small side of veggies to grill + fish cake soup + cheese corn. We thought the intestines were on the tougher side. The banchan (side dishes) were also on the sweeter side, which could be an attempt to mainstream Korean food without letting each ingredient really play their part. I usually look to side dishes to determine how good a Korean restaurant is and this one didn't pass my test. read more

I loved this place!!! This is definitely not for the faint of heart. I'm definitely an organ meat type of gal. My favorite were the cow heart and the large intestine, but everything else was pretty good! They cook it all for you and service was extremely quick. We got the Dallas combo and ordered the cow heart, the spicy noodles and the fried rice with tripe. I would definitely recommend to those who are trying to be adventurous, you won't be disappointed! read more

I didn't have high expectations going in because the last gopchang restaurant that opened up was a bit of a disappointment. The family and I went on a Friday evening and it was quite packed. The menu had more than enough items to choose from. We ordered the "Dallas Combo" for $49.99 and it comes with 4 different types of meats, side dishes, cheese corn, and fish cake soup and it's just right for 2-3 people. For the price, I'd say we received exactly what we paid for if not a little bit more (taking the fact that we're in Dallas area and not in Korea). We also ordered the chicken feet. The food looked fresh and it tasted amazing. The chicken feet was a bit too spicy for me but the flavor is addicting! Service was good and our lady server was very attentive and personable (I just wish I could remember her name). read more

I'm used to the average Korean BBQ cuisine, but seeing intestine bbq I was very hesitant to even eat here. My boyfriend's family picked this place so I decided to be adventurous and try it. They picked all the meats. There was large intestine, small intestine, beef tripe and beef rectum. After tasting a piece of each,which I dipped in the jalapeño sauce that was provided, I was blown away. Some were fatty and flavorful, some where chewy and savory. I was surprised that there was no weird or gamy after taste from any of them. Everything was delicious. I will say that my least favorite was the small intestine, which is the swirly looking one. It had a soft texture with a kidney or liver aftertaste. Aside from that, I was officially an intestine lover. Paired with the yummy side dishes and some beer or Soju and you'll be one happy person. The servers are very kind and knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Definitely give this place a chance, it completely changed my perception of intestines. read more

DON'T GO TO THERE !! wasting ur money. Terrible service ever had on my life. They need training employees (korean old lady) also they need change business I went there with friend around 9:15pm They told me close midnight that why we take seat. Was so quite night, almost empty (we're last customer, nobody come after us) So we ordered some food and drink. Food came out and drink too They cooking on the table so we waiting little bit and we start eating food was okay. But we just starting eating I smelled some bleach So i looking around there employees start cleaning all over place. So i asking them again what time is close? Old Korean sever told me they will close 11pm. Still have more then 1hr So I asked her. "Please stop using bleach i just start eating I can't eating when I smelling bleach." But she don't care she said " we want leave same time with last customers " And then keep using bleach all over restaurants floor How can i eating? So I asked her again but she keep saying to me!! I almost call police because she start yelling to me!!! So we left only had few bites and few drinking of soju (we ordered 1 soju) And paid almost $100 That's how they're treated customers. This place is legit. Came to visit from LA and was craving some Korean BBQ. Having been to all the great Korean BBQ places in LA's KTown I kept my expectations to a minimum. I was surprised by how good they were. The meat quality was excellent (fresh and tender) and side dishes well seasoned and prepared. The atmosphere is clean, spacious and inviting. Just keep in mind that your clothes will smell at the end of your culinary foray. Totally reccomend ordering their fried rice as well. read more

My girlfriend and I came in at night about an two hour before we close. Service were amazing, every single staff were so informative and sweet and attentive. We specialize in Gopchang that'll have your mouth watering and your chopsticks ready, and not to mention, we have delicious drinks to wash it all down with. So I think if you go into the meal knowing that and not expecting your meat/fish to have been an MTI graduate and pampered since birth, you'll be okay, but I suspect most people just want something that doesn't taste spoiled and a lot of it. That was a long way of saying, I was hesitant to pull the trigger on this place because I am someone who is usually more quality over quantity, but I heard enough about this place to try it. First the cons: I noticed all of the things I generally don't care for at any AYCE sushi place. The ginger/wasabi was the low-quality kind you find everywhere, the cocktails I ordered were terrible (just stick with beer) and some of the pieces we ordered were not consistent. But I was expecting that going in and so was prepared. Pros: the food was all pretty decent. The only times I really eat sushi rolls is when I'm at a place like this, so we ordered one to get our mayo intake for the month and the rest were sashimi or nigiri pieces. Pepper in some hot appetizers and we left feeling extremely full and satisfied. One thing that I really did love was the presentation. It makes it feel a lot fancier when the food comes out on a wooden boat serving platter than on little plates so brownie points for that. I will say that we ordered pretty much the same thing from round one and two, but the first round was definitely had more of the higher quality pieces (fattier pieces, smoked this and that, etc.) but I get it. Can't serve all of the premo stuff each time. We will definitely be back. And also, a shout out to the amazing staff. I think we had no less than four people come by our table to check up on us or to serve us.

This meal reminded us of our past travels in Japan. I ordered the Hiroshima and my partner ordered the GOAM!, I would recommend both. The atmosphere was nicely dark, and the service was incredible. Very attentive and the server gave us a great explanation of the menu before we ordered.

This Korean BBQ restaurant provides a focused and well-organized experience. Staff members grill the food for you at the table, which makes the meal feel relaxed and efficient. The flavors are strong and thoughtfully prepared. The menu includes uncommon cuts such as small and large intestine and heart. While these options are not my personal preference, the quality is clear. My brother-in-law really enjoys it, and others who appreciate traditional Korean BBQ will likely feel the same.
