A car I just bought has two different body styles and I asked for a quote on both since I'm uncertain if it is the new one or old. He gave me a quote and I indicated it was a bit more expensive than other quotes I had received, he then called me an idiot and hung up on me. C'mon! Nothing should be this great! I'd been driving around with a cracked windshield for about ten months because I didn't want the hassle of messing around with the replacement. Last week the crack expanded and I began to fear that the windshield could explode and change my looks for the negative. I called my insurance company and told them I needed a new windshield. They patched me through to the windshield claim group. Come to find out, it was really just SafeLite Auto Glass. They had "a lot of great options for me." One option involved me paying $480 out of pocket. I declined their fab opportunities and found Dallas Mobile Glass on the web. Yesterday I called their office around 2pm and spoke with a guy named Norm. He was courteous, detailed and he promptly explained how things would work and got me a quote. It was a good deal --- if by good deal you mean a GREAT price with AWESOME service. Alberto showed up on time today and had my new windshield in place in less than thirty minutes. This is America. Things should happen fast and affordable. That's what happened here today. I am going to use them again to replace my wife's windshield, the experience was that good. Exchanged texts with Jack to get a quote (Dallas number), then their office called and took payment over the phone and scheduled a time. Mobile Glass does not do the repairs.....they subcontract out the work to a different company but do not disclose this information at the time of quote, payment, or calling before a technician arrives. In fact when I called because I thought someone from Mobile glass was coming out Kristen who answers the phones in AUSTIN NOT DALLAS still claims that they are their employees (lies all lies). I feel lied to and taken advantage of, if you want to subcontract our work fine but tell your customers and don't try to hide it! Also don't call yourself Dallas Mobile Glass if your company isn't even based out of Dallas!!!!! read more

Worst service I have ever gotten, some dumb kids went around out neighborhood shooting out car windows with a pellet gun and my 2011 audi a6 got hit. Keep in mind that these guys just hire out repairs and dont actually do anything themselves. They have me a decent quote saying it was a premium glass and the install guy came and it seemed like this was his first job. It took him over 2 hours just to take the door off. I can see him yanking on things many times. Almost 4 hours later he says he's done and looked ok so I said ok. The next day I go to unlock my door and it's not working with the remote. crawl in and go to wash the car and water starts pouring inside through the speakers. I immediately text them and nothing (they were very responsive through text when trying to close the sale) 3 days later I try again nothing, leave 2 messages on VM and they say we will get back to you. They say they will come fix it. A guy shows up fixes the lock and leaves without installing a new window saying the one they put in is defective and the other installer should have seen this. I call and text back to get an OEM upgrade for all the issues they have given me and not to mention I dont have a window and I all of a sudden get a refund. That's all fine but I'm left with a car without a window and damages to my trim that were never fixed. Do yourself a favor and skip these guys completely. They shouldn't be in business if they cant fix something they messed up on. They wasted so much of my time and left me with no window New update. I had the glass replaced by a much better company and the person knew what they were doing. As I watched him this time he pointed out all the damage the last person did. The last person ripped my door off without removing all the screws and cracked my door in 2 places. To even add to that the reason my window was leaking was he didnt even put all the screws back in. My car has 30k miles on it and was in mint condition so this was not previous damage. These guys are ridiculous. Stay away at all cost if you have a car you care about. read more

I had called around and got a bunch of rude/ non English speaking people that I couldn't understand. I stumbled upon Dallas mobile glass and I had great customer service from the time Norm anwsered the phone. Affordable and dependable! I will always use them in the future! Wow, talk about service, these folks were able to come out the same day after calling in the morning, they showed up in the afternoon. The price was reasonable and Kristen was great, she was able to get me booked and wrapped up the same day. The technician came out to my work, vacuumed the old glass and installed the new one while I was working. Talk about convenience. Worth the price! read more

A tree limb landed on my car over the weekend. After a few phone calls, these guys had the best offer, and same day service. Repair guy was running a little late due to traffic, but I received two phone calls well ahead of time to notify me and apologize for the wait. Once the showed up he replaced my busted rear windshield and cleaned up all of the glass within 30 minutes. These guys could not have made it any easier to get my car back in working order. Help! Called and they came out yesterday to replace our window but brought the wrong type! That could be our fault for not describing the truck accurately but they said they would be back in the morning and never showed, called, or answered any phone calls or emails. Good and quick response. The price was much better than I expected. At first I was a little upset because the person who showed up at the location where they were going to remove an old glass from a car (for parts) told me that he couldn't remove the glass because it would be damaged, even though that was what I had requested. However, It turned out for the best because the new glass they sold me was cheaper than the one I was buying from the used car. The service had to be delayed a day but once this guys showed up, it took them about 10 minutes to do the job. read more

Not sure why these folks use a false address. I am very familiar with 6171 Bandera. It is a small residential apartment. I know all the tenants and none have anything to do with this business. I emailed the business to ask and got no response. My business partner called and asked about the address, and got his call transferred a few times, but never got a response to the question. Giving a false address sure raises red flags to me. read more

Chose this company based the stellar yelp reviews and did not disappoint. Great customer service, very reasonable price, and they were able to come replace my windshield the same day in about 30 minutes. Kristen was also a joy to talk to and answered all my questions directly and with a smile. Just make sure you've got your cell close to you and give the correct car info because they do have a rescheduling fee if they can't get ahold of you and need too. This company gives a discount to people that will give a favorable review. ...Sounds like a payoff to me... Mark up price is out of control ($78 for a part then they charged $169.99 for the same part) ...Called Auto Zone and the price was $78... Stated they are not able to talk to me because they have other customers. ...received and email saying they are 'all talked out..' Customer service will hang up on people ...After leaving messages, emails and text messages, they returned my call and then hung up on me... They have a C+ rating with the BBB Austin office They also will block your number and not take your calls ...Called from my cell phone and it went straight to voicemail, but when I called from my house phone the call would go through... read more

They came to my work for a chipped windshield repair. I had a small "starred" area from a rock that flew up during recent road trip. The starred part resolved except for one small remaining divet, but a crack coming off the side of the starred area actually got longer. Repairman tried to add more resin to fill in the crack that had elongated. It partially filled in with the resin but can still see the crack. I'm skeptical that this is going to hold. I'm wondering if I'm going to get to watch this crack grow its way across my windshield. Time will tell. They do offer to deduct your repair cost from any future windshield replacement cost. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Customer service, repair, product, warranty and service are all complaints with this company. 1. The repair man brought the wrong piece of glass for my car and left me in a parking lot with wires hanging from my car roof, when he let me know the company would call me to fix an issue. 2. My card had a pending charge, but no receipt was sent until requested the next day. However, my card was charged after a job was incorrectly done, because they did not ask for my vin number so they installed the wrong piece of glass. 3. When I asked the man who called himself the owner of the business, why he would be charging me for labor a second time when they were going to fix my car : "the dealer part is $1673.04 but I cant do you for $300 off the normal cost", I then informed him that I just talked the dealer and they told me the windshield was a little over $1000. He then called me a "stupid f*cking b*tch" and told me he didn't "give a f*ck about me" and his profanities continued intensely for the rest of the conversation. I have never been talked to in such an awful way or felt so threatened. 4. In disbelief I spoke with the owner, I called the 1-800 number and asked to speak with a manager so I could report what happen. The same manager informed me it was in fact the owner I had spoken with and there was nothing he could do, because that is his boss. 5. Now I am stuck with the wrong piece of glass in my car and I have dealt with a business that has made me fear my own safety. They should have replaced the glass with correct piece of equipment and not turned this in to such a frightening issue. A company with that type of person in charge who would treat a woman and a customer with such cheat and disrespect should not be allowed to own his own business. read more

I previously posted a very favorable review of Dallas Mobile Glass (based on actual services performed), however, I am now retracting it based on the HORRIBLE customer service I have received since then. I feel that I need to warn everyone in the Dallas area regarding my experience. Chris, who originally gave me the quote, initially stated that I would see a full amount of the charge as "pending" on my credit card and that if I posted a Google review within 24 hours that I would then receive a $30 discount. The discounted amount would then be posted and actually charged to my credit card. This was not at all what happened. First of all, I was surprised when I immediately posted a review that the full amount was charged to my card, not the reduced amount. This, in theory, should've been an easy fix for the company. I first emailed to let them know that I still needed to be issued the refund. I received an email from Jack stating that the refund had been issued (come to find out that it hadn't) and that it should be showing up. It never did. When I called back several days later to inquire why this had still not shown up on my credit card, I spoke with Chris. He was supposed to research the issue and get back to me, however, he did not. He has yet to call me back although I've left numerous voicemails (no one was even answering the phones for several hours the afternoon I was trying to reach him). I finally received text messages from Kristen and Jack, however, I had repeatedly stated that I wanted someone to CALL me about the issue. Finally, after 5 contacts, Jack called me. He was extremely defensive stating that the company had already issued the refund (I told him I had NOT received any such refund) and was talking over me while I was explaining the situation and why I was unhappy (not only with the lack of refund, but the lack of response). He then threatened me, stating that he was "not going to be reasonable" when trying to find a solution to me. I have since disputed the charge on my credit card since I am done wasting valuable time (which I do not have) on this simple issue. The bottom line is that although the service (and repairman) did a good job initially, do not expect to receive ANY customer service from this company once you give them your credit card. It is unacceptable that a customer would have to follow up 5-6 times on such a simple issue and never get a resolution. Needless to say, I will NEVER be doing business with this company again. read more
