Chicken tender wrap, seasoned fries, and mozzarella sticks

Loved loved loved it here. Cute little diner! The mozzarella sticks had the best cheese pulls and the ranch I believe they make in house is absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was amazing, great portion sizes and you get a free BIG cookie for your first visit! Service was great had someone walking around for coffee and water refills and the server was friendly and helpful with advice on what to order.

Very filling ABC omelette and hashed browns well-done. Good zucchini muffin to boot. Nice and cool inside this hot Wednesday morning

    Meatloaf dinner. Amazing.

The food is classic Americana. The service is amazing. They know their regulars by name. The ambience is pure charm. We love the food. The meatloaf is great. The soups are rich. The desserts (try the pies) are homemade and remind me of my grandmothers' baking.

Super cute place. On the outside, it's easy to pass by without thinking of stopping inside, but you must. Inside the place is very warm and comforting. From the handmade baked goods in the entrance to the homely decor on the walls, this place feels like a diner in a small town. The workers are nice and quick to assist. I ordered the Dalton's Pasta that came with my choice of salad and a muffin. The portions were filling and the food was delish. I came with my friend during lunchtime on a weekday, so the place wasn't too busy.

On November 8, 2024 we found ourselves in the vicinity of a local restaurant that I particularly enjoy. As we entered the establishment, we were promptly seated despite the noticeable busyness of the restaurant. Unfortunately, my preferred seating spot was already occupied, so we joined the other patrons in the central area of the restaurant. Our server, Tammy, promptly approached our table, acknowledging that we had not yet decided on our menu selections. Tammy made our visit so pleasant, her smile and cheerfulness was just the tip of the iceberg. Tammy seemed to have a great repour with each patron and knew many by names. Tammy, witnessed me trying to take a photo of us dining in and she quickly came to our table. Tammy asked jokingly you want a photo of me lol ! Took a picture of herself playfully. We all laughed. I mentioned that I am making memories with my mother in law. So her taking our photo ment alot. I rate them 5 stars as Tammy make our experience this morning a good one , just like a good cup of coffee.

    spinach, mushroom, cheese omelet

Classic diner food, served in an older style of restaurant. Came here in search of biscuits and sausage gravy. I got the spinach, mushroom and cheese omelet, served with home fries and a side of TWO biscuits and gravy. I thought the omelet was well done, not over cooked, and seasoned just enough. My companion got a chicken fried steak with two eggs over easy, hash browns and also TWO more biscuits and gravy. The steak was a tad dry though. Our toddler got the macaroni & Cheese dish - it was soooo cheesy! We came in so late for lunch that we ended up being the only ones left by the time we ended our meal. Friendly Waitress Cheri check in on us a few times. We let her know it was our first time coming in. You get a free GIANT cookie with that visit. (we got one chocolate chip with nuts and one oatmeal raisin.

Fancy chicken salad sandwich made with grapes and walnuts and mayonnaise. We split. Delicious!

The matcha flavor came through really well, and it had a good balance of sweetness without overpowering the matcha itself. I also tried the Dubai Chewy Cookie because I was curious about the flavor. It was good and definitely fun to try, but personally, I don't think I would pay $8 for it again. For the price, I was expecting a little more from it. I know banana isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea because it has such a distinct flavor, but I really love how they construct this drink. You can genuinely taste the banana, and I love that it seems like they use real banana rather than that artificial banana flavor you get at some other cafés. It makes such a difference! I've also tried their coffee, and it's really good! Their coffee has a nice, strong flavor and doesn't taste watered down at all. I feel like they're probably more known for their matcha, but their coffee definitely deserves some love too. I've tried matcha from a lot of different places, including spots in LA, and while everyone has their own preferences, if you're in the Orange County area, I would definitely recommend giving Coffee & a try. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but personally, this is one of my favorite cafés. It has that cute little hole-in-the-wall feeling where you find a place that you just want to keep coming back to. The service is also amazing! Everyone I've interacted with has been super nice and welcoming, which honestly makes the experience even better. As for the pastries, they're really good too! They'll warm them up for you, and they have the cutest cookies that look like little cartoon characters. They sometimes have seasonal cookies as well, which I think is such a cute touch. Overall, I really love how much personality this café has. If you're a matcha lover in OC, I definitely recommend stopping by and trying it for yourself!

Instead, we walked away feeling completely unwelcome. Before leaving, I brought the experience up to someone who worked there, and the only response I received was, "I'm so sorry." There was no attempt to understand what happened or make us feel differently about the experience. It's really unfortunate that in 2026, people can still walk into a business and feel unwelcome because of the way they are treated. Customer service and simply acknowledging people who walk through your door should be the bare minimum. I really wanted to support this new neighborhood business, but unfortunately, I'll stick with places like Smoking Tiger where we have always felt welcomed and treated with kindness.
