It's located alongside the leasing office for the apartment complex. The service is great. There were two young ladies working and they were both friendly. I arrived around 4:30 on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and ordered a muffin and a decaf latte since it was so late (for me to drink caffeine). The cranberry lemon muffin was absolutely perfect, so much flavor, so fresh & moist. The Salted Brown Butter Latte was the best. From the first sip to the last drop, I loved it. I sat on a small section of a very comfortable couch with pillows and all. I later sat out front on one of the benches. They also have a patio seating out back. I can't wait to go back to Thousand Hills!!

We went on a Saturday afternoon which probably did not help the cause, but there were only a couple of tables available, which luckily we snagged one. I opted for the maple brown sugar latte. I really liked the flavor of the brown sugar itself, though I wished the espresso notes would have cut through more. My preference is for stronger, more acidic tasting espresso though. Glad I was able to check this coffee shop out since it was on my list, but not sure it's one I will rush back to.

I've tried many items and the Ube Latte, salmon Focaccia, the Caesar Chicken Wrap are some of my faves. For the price you get a lot, the food is very filling! Great place to study or get some work done. I like the quiet of the morning. It is a busier street so be careful when parking, but overall great spot. Clean, good amount of seating and some couch areas too! The staff is very friendly and the service is great. I always look forward to coming in, def check it out.

I think the avocado and the goat cheese compliments egg really good. It could do with a little more flavor to pair with the spring mix. May introduce me to this cafe and from what I heard they are quite known for their focaccia bread. I also tried a bit of my friend French toast and it was really good but not too sweet. From the outside it looks very simple and you might catch it just passing by. This place seems to be always busy and seats fill up fast. You order at front and take a number to your table. It's is on a slightly pricier side but the quality I think it's worth it. I think I'm not sure that they make the focaccia themselves.

There are tables inside and out (when the weather is good they even open the garage door so that it morphs into one large space), comfortable and ample seating, and even some fun multilevel bench style seats inside allowing for you to work, hang out with a small group, or even just quickly grab some coffee. The staff was friendly and service was prompt. The coffee options were plentiful, with options for whatever your preferences may be whether you're more of a coffee enthusiast looking for lighter roast to taste all the notes, or enjoy more flavored and decadent drinks. One thing that was an incredibly exciting surprise the last time I went were the whole beans they had for sale from Fritz Coffee (imported from Korea im pretty sure). I had to grab a bag despite them being a bit pricey as they were freshly roasted too (price was expected for something like that). A slight down point for me though was the food, got a couple chocolate chip cookies and they were very much not worth it. Overall though would highly recommend and will likely return, though do need to be careful of timings as there can be quite the rush due to high demand.

The yogurt was a large portion and was very good. Coffee was a little strong and bitter, probably designed to have additives rather than being drank black. Pairing with the yogurt made it taste a lot better though. Service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It was a bit noisy inside, just because there were a lot of customers and everyone was talking. The store is clean and bright with a neat little riser on one side. My only complaint was that there were no refills. That's unusual for black, drip coffee.

Do note eggs are only hard boiled on the toasts here. The Deets: Going out of my normal weekend routine, I decided to venture out to Simmer Coffee House located at Amberly Place in Cary. I had seen this one pop up on my Yelp feed so naturally I was curious. I got there fairly early, right after opening, but it started filling up fairly fast so appears to be a popular stop. The shop itself is nicely appointed, clean, bright, and welcoming with plenty of inside and outside seating. They offer a nice variety of items on their menu some of which include coffee beverages, matcha, ube, "build your own toast" items, even ice cream/sorbet. Service/staff was very welcoming and helpful when I approached to order at the counter. Loved that they used my name not only to place on my order but addressed me by name when the order was delivered, I like personal style service. I went with a hot skim latte and a toasted with avocado/smoked salmon. I wanted scrambled egg on my toast as well but they do not make eggs any other way than hard boiled here (I am not a fan of hard boiled eggs, a me-thing). I know of a few coffeehouses that serve eggs hard boiled only, this shop is one of them. When my order was delivered in good time, I enjoyed my day-starting meal. The latte was served in a nice mug since staying in house and tasted great. My toast with avocado and smoked salmon was equally good as well. Overall a nice visit to Simmer Coffee House and I would consider it more 4.5 stars all things considered.

It's super spacious, with tons of natural light, high ceilings, and both indoor and outdoor seating. The outside patio has cushy lounge seats, perfect for soaking up sunshine (though it's right by the highway, so some outdoor spots come with a bit of traffic noise during rush hours). This place is a dream for remote work. Every table is so spread out (esp outdoor) that you don't overhear other conversations, no loud music, and sunlight streaming in from every corner. Service was quick and thoughtfully accommodating. I appreciated that they bring food in a to-go container if you're sitting outside, so you're not stuck carrying plates back. And bonus points for their commitment to using sustainable packaging. The coffee was quite delicious! Jubala Coffee actually makes a type of specialty beans roasted just for F&F. Their drink menu is on the simpler side, but they usually have a couple of seasonal lattes, and everything I tried tasted great. Food-wise, it's a gem: generous portions, very reasonably priced, and flavorful. It reminded me a bit of Fount Kitchen in its "organic, healthy" vibe, but with more non-vegetarian options and even better flavor. There's plenty of parking right out front, but sadly they close at 2:30pm, so it's more of a morning or lunch spot. All in all, a wonderful place for a morning work sesh or a work lunch in style!

It was very crowded there's not a lot of seating inside, they do have outside sitting. I did like how the inside looked and they had their pastries out front. I couldn't tell what to order and spent a few minutes trying to figure the menu out without getting overstimulated by the time I could even think about asking questions they had a really big line. I ended up ordering a medium cappuccino which I know see from other reviews that my disappointment was not just me. we did get a waffle croissant thing which was not bad. It tasted stale. So it was a bit tougher and chewier or I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be ? I'm sure if it was fresh it would have been better. My daughter ended up getting a fruit smoothie and a hello kitty looking Madeline that was banana flavored she really liked that. There are no prices on the things that aren't at their coffee station area. I did ask the guy up front that it was my first time here and I wasn't sure what to get, he just stared at me. Didn't say anything. And then corrected me when I asked for the waffle thing. Soo.. there's that. So I guess come here if you know what you want. Or come during non less busy hours. We only came by because it was across the street from our therapy appointment. But left more disappointed.. and I spent $22 with tip. Not even sure what I paid for or the prices it all happened so fast. So go here don't go here. We will probably try another place.
