I ordered one pastry/cookie, it is not a huge one, unfortunately, I forgot the name. I'll be better on my next visit. Service: they don't serve your order to your table, you basically place your order and you'll pick up your items on the counter once they are ready. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner; lovely old lady. She recommended the rose latte to me. I also forgot to inform her that I can't have dairy in my drink so she kindly rung me up again for the additional $ with enthusiasm. Bathroom: one stall for everyone and the doorknob does not lock. I'm not a coffee drinker, but this place is my exception! My go-to order is the iced rose latte 10/10. I wouldn't get it hot, I find that it swallows up the rose flavor. I've also tried the chai latte, it's too milky not enough chai in my opinion, but I know others who like it. Aside from that, it's a cute place to hang out with friends, read, or get some work done. Their prices aren't too bad and I like that community members frequent here, not just college students. I discovered Damask Rose, while scrolling through social media and knew I wanted to try it from the vibe alone. We ordered a rose latte, a date mamoul cookie and flat bread (half zattar and half cheese). The flavors of everything we had were perfectly balanced and complimented the latte well. If you have been disappointed with rose lattes, like myself, I understand if you may be on the fence to give it another go. However, I highly encourage you to take a dive and try the rose latte at Damask Rose. It wasn't not overly sweet or have a strong fake rose taste to it. The mamoul cookie or a piece of baklava would compliment it perfectly. We also ordered a half zattar bread and half cheese bread. The zattar bread was earthy and had wonderful texture. The black sesame seeds added a nice crunch as well. If you want something milder, the cheese flatbread is it. It's soft and chewy and is also fun to mix with the zattar bread. TL;DR Wi-Fi, outlets, great drinks and desserts, great atmosphere This coffee shop has been on my radar for awhile and I am so glad to have made the short ride down the 18 to visit! There are lots of little round tables to sit at that are perfect for one person to work at and outlets along the wall. The wi-fi password is printed on a paper hung up by the register. Their desserts are beautifully made and you can see them on display by the register as well. My boyfriend and I came here to study for a few hours. We got the rose lemonade, rose latte, baklava, Ottoman delights, and date mamule. It was a peaceful and beautiful place to stay and study. The drinks were really good. The rose lemonade was sweet and refreshing with a satisfying tartness offset by the subtle flavors of the rose. In a similar fashion, the rose latte was smooth with the subtle sweetness of the rose infusing it. The desserts were also delicious!! They were very rich, so we asked for a box to pack them up to go and have brought them home to nibble on. The people who work there were very kind and let us stay until closing to study and work. Once we finished our drinks and food, we left the dishes and cups on the counter. Some notes on the layout: I had a little difficulty finding the trashcan when I visited. I am so so happy I found this cute cafe on Yelp. It was relatively easy to find from the directions. I am from out of town and wanted something different to eat before my tattoo appointment. I found Damask Rose Coffee on Yelp and knew immediately I wanted to try their Turkish delight and their coffee! I asked for recommendations and their recommendations did not disappoint me one bit. Lovely place, great ambiance. I met with a group of friends (total four of us) and we all had a nice time. Their espresso machine was temporarily out of order, but while we there two repair people came and fixed it. I had lemon ginger tea, a turkish delight cube shaped sweet (very tasty, and gluten free), and some dolmas that I was told were made in house. They have several other interesting menu offerings. I was there in the past and had a rose latte that was really good. Overwhelming amount of hanging artificial flowers actually creates a lovely environment. read more

It is a small location, and people seemed to be very settled in. The women working there were very warm and friendly. We ordered: Two rose lattes - very nice! The rose notes were clearly present but not overpowering. I do feel like the coffee could have been hotter, but it was still fine for me since I don't like things too hot. There were plenty of seats available and our items came out quickly. I was hungry, so we ordered a cheese flatbread. The flatbread isn't small. I would definitely not be able to finish it alone. It was light, salty, and crispy. For drinks, we got a rose lemonade and an iced matcha latte. The rose lemonade actually did taste like rose, which was nice. The matcha latte was a little too sweet for my liking. For pastries, we tried one of the small round ones. I didn't catch the name or the filling, but it had a flower pattern on top and a sweet paste filling inside. We also got a piece of knafeh. It was my first time trying this dish. Made my first visit here finally! Cute and quaint location for a coffee shop. It was a rainy Saturday and the inside of the small shop was completely full. The space is small and nicely decorated. A sweet little cafe run by the nicest people. The ambience is warm and inviting, and the cappuccino was divine. Seems these days it's rare to find a cafe that has personality--that isn't all hard surfaces painted dark, drab colors, offering commercial music, generic food, and mediocre coffee. Damask Rose breaks the trend by being soft and comfy, filled with natural light, calming colors, and softly-playing beautiful Middle-Eastern music. Stepping up to the counter, I was delighted by the variety of filo pastries they offer, and felt genuinely welcomed by the barista--even the other customers seemed friendlier, with a creative vibe. I would give them 5 stars, were it not that the babaganoush and some other items were served in plastic clamshell to-go boxes, even when dining onsite. Along with the plastic being a concern, it's kept in the fridge, which solidifies the olive oil drizzled on top, the oil remaining solid until I was about half way through. I would have preferred it served up in a bowl or a compostable container, and have the olive oil drizzled on after I've pulled it from the fridge. That said, the babaganoush was silky and delicious, an ample serving, and because it was already packed to go, I took home the leftovers and am now enjoying it as this morning's breakfast! We walked into this cafe after seeing how amazing it looks inside, the walls and ceilings covered in flowers. We got an iced cardamom latte, and iced rose latte, and baklava. The rose latte was the best latte I've had in a long time!! I will definitely be returning. One thing to note - I believe the hours posted on Yelp/Google are incorrect, I tried returning at 8:45am on a Saturday and they were closed, though I'm not sure the exact hours on weekends.
