Service was lacking and menu options were not very exciting. Seemed like the bar got more attention than those dining. We weren't very hungry but shared some apps. I only enjoyed the shrimp which for nearly $20 you only get 6 pieces. Additionally I was overcharged by $3 on my credit card.

Surprisingly, everyone got a different meal and it was pretty good. The goetta was interesting as it was the first time I've had it before. The sweet potato fries are surprisingly crispy and went really well paired with the apple butter. As I'm not from this area, I probably wouldn't be coming back, but I might stop by with a group if I was here.

So when I saw they were open at 6:00 in the morning during a layover in Cincinnati, I knew the angels were singing and my day had purpose. Breakfast? Chili and cheese wrap. Like a responsible adult. And it was absolutely stunning delicious. Decadent. Cheesy. Warm. The kind of meal that says, "You have nowhere important to be," even though you very much do. Now here is the issue. This is an airport location. Time is not just money, it is literally whether or not you end up in Cleveland by accident. You need a minimum one hour and twenty minute layover to even consider ordering. Anything less and you are playing boarding pass roulette. They are that slow. At one point there was a person standing at the front counter staring thoughtfully at the ceiling tiles like they were studying architectural history, while the lone hero in the kitchen was trying to crank out orders for the entire airport. It was like watching a two person play where only one actor knew their lines. The food is delicious. Truly. Worthy of devotion. But the process moves at a pace that suggests no planes are actually leaving today. So I have to ding them one star for the time warp and give them four stars overall. Come hungry. Come early. And maybe stretch before you stand in line.

I saw a few reviews that referenced how good the food was at Boone Kitchen (at Marriott). I was of course quite skeptical, but I hand them five stars for having such an amazing selection like a fusion bowl, boom-boom shrimp, garlic shrimp endive lettuce wrap, an Ahi poké appetizer and they also have favorites like wings (that looked absolutely delicious) and then if you have kids: pizza everybody loves pizza, right? Equally impressive was the martini I had when somebody serves it to me in a glass that looks like it came out of my grandma's cabinet circa 1932. I'm impressed. Sea Bass was my order and they nailed it. Again, you have to remember you are in a lobby of a hotel so I give the Seabass five stars. Probably more impressive than the food was the service! I walked in and the bar was completely empty. I went to my room, took a shower and came back. The bar was packed and there's one bartender she was serving the entire bar and four tables with drink drinks AND food. Shout out to JENNIFER!! She's the amazing ringleader of a circus! Alone.

Texas toast tasted good but other than that, nothing else tasted exceptional or even good. 7:30pm on a Friday, the restaurant was really quiet with just one person dining in. The food was made to order and because it was slow, my order was made after I placed the order, about five to seven minutes wait time. No complaints about the wait but if you have been to Raising Cane's before, I do not recommend this place.
