I'm not a fan of Italian restaurants, but this one impressed me. The food was some of the best I've eaten. The ravioli was awesome. It was light but filling. I also had salad and pistachio ice cream which were also very good. The servers were super nice and helpful as I ordered. I opted to sit outside since it was nice and breezy out but had to move inside due to rain. Even the bartender was helpful and engaged me in conversation. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We visited Danielle's late on a Friday evening. It was a nice change to the always crowded restaurants in Castle Rock. The food is fabulously prepared to order in the scratch kitchen. They have a great wine and cocktail list.

We arrived around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was bright and cheery. A few tables were filled inside and outside. Our waiter, Brian, greeted us, asking if we wanted drinks. We ordered some soft drinks while discussing the menu. I wanted to try the 5 cheese stuffed mushrooms - they were pretty good, with some marinara sauce. We ordered the Cabutto Tenuta La Volta 2017. Brian recommended it since it seemed to be the owner's favorite. It paired well with the Vadouvan Spiced Halibut and Pasta Bolognese - both were delicious. For dessert, we both had the crème brûlée which hit the spot.

The chef here is good. Really good. Seemingly simple dishes on the menu are very well executed. Look forward to returning over and over.

We have been to Scileppi's multiple times and I just checked and no review. So here we go! Love the atmosphere and the old church so very neat and so happy when they expanded they did not ruin the original church. The server we just had from our previous visit! She was awesome again and she is incredibly friendly. We started with ice cold beers and a Chianti for the wine drinker. We also tried the Works pizza! Our booth on the church side was a little cramped. During the online reservation, it asked if we were celebrating a special occasion. I selected anniversary. I did not expect anything elaborate, but a simple acknowledgment would have been nice. There was none. The bread was soft and warm. It was probably the best part of the meal. The rest of the food was just underwhelming. The four seasons salad was okay but not memorable. The crab-stuffed shrimp linguine was also just okay, nothing special. The chicken piccata was overpowered by lemon and had not much flavor. The veal marsala risotto was dry, bland and forgettable. The portions were just right. Service could have been better. It was a little slow and did not feel warm or welcoming. Considering the hype and prices, the experience did not meet our expectations. None of us really enjoyed the meal. For us, it is a one-and-done.

We stopped in for brunch and everything we ordered was really good, but the Breakfast Hangover Burger completely stole the show for me. A burger topped with smoked ham, an over easy egg, avocado, American cheese, jalapeños, fried onion straws, and sriracha aioli sounds like someone lost a bet and just kept adding ingredients. Somehow it all works perfectly. We also ordered the Monte Cristo, which was crispy, cheesy, and exactly what I want when I order a Monte Cristo. Another highlight weee the donuts. Fresh, hot, and perfect for sharing. The service was great, the food came out quickly, and the whole experience was just really enjoyable. Definitely worth the trip.

As I have the past several times here, I went with the egg and carnitas tacos. I added a side of fresh fruit...both the eggs and fruit were very good. As the Benedict my wife loved is no longer on the menu, she had the avocado toast with eggs. She added a large size of the breakfast potatoes and was glad she did. While she liked the taste of the avocado toast, she was very disappointed in the small size of the portion. She wish she had more. One daughter had the Mardi Gras omelette for the first time. While she liked the flavor, the fact that the ham was a full slice (lunchmeat style), as opposed to chunks or cubes, was weird...and required cutting with a knife. The other daughter tried the quiche for the first time and loved it. It is one of the better quiches around. Coffee is very good as well. Service was fine for the most part.

Great quality and taste. Rolls tend to be on the sweeter side and very large portions. Escolar was good, as the best it can be but Id highly recommend going off the daily special sheet that's offered with the sushi order form. It was a great foray into less common and delicious alternatives. I wish my server was a bit more informed on the tastes and types, but we managed just fine. Tai, Chinese, and other: Full standard menu of common dishes. Great for anyone who doesn't want sushi, and it stands on its own Chinese and Tai menu, if you are in the mood for those dishes. Luckily I didn't see tai green curry on the menu, or I would have had to order take out as well. Red curry is offered, and Pad Thai is next on the list. It packs up, so either call ahead or be willing to wait a bit during rush hours. They observed my reservation with us arriving a little early, they still sat us on time, but ahead of those waiting in the seating area. Standard noise during busy hours, which is the norm these days, but we could still hold a conversation even at peak. Family seems to be the name of the game with little ones trying new things. A few dates but not over formal.

I've been here now 4 times in the last month and each time it just gets better and better. Their salsas have the right amount of kick, their food portions are huge. But the real reason I am writing this review is because they have REAL Barbacoa and not shredded beef trying to be barbacoa. Line was out the door so our hopes were high. We waited to get on the waitlist & our wait time was 30 minutes for 4 people. In our group of 4, me and my boyfriend decided to wait inside. I do hope their organization gets better because...yikes. They had no way of telling people who was next, they called a name and if you weren't inside/you didn't hear, they skipped over you. There was a party of 3, a party of 6 (which I understand having to skip & come back to this one), and another party. They called the party of 3, whom were waiting outside (I believe), they didn't come, so they called us. We got sat at around 6:30 p.m. They brought us our chips and salsa and we ordered drinks. And that's about where our happy vibes ended. We ordered food at 6:40. Our food came out at 7:20. We all ordered quesabirrias, wait was not horrible for food as they were busy busy. After we got our food, our server came over to ask if everything was okay, we said yes, and asked if we could get some spicy salsa, he said yes, and we went back to eating. 5ish minutes passed, he walked by serval times, didn't bring the salsa, we started using the salsa from our chips and salsa, until I asked the sweetest lady for some (she was shorter, helping seat people) and she brought us 2 options! We are from Iowa (not sure if that makes a difference) but usually when people see we're about done, they come check in again, ask if we need anything else, etc. and then bring the bill shortly after...well apparently not the case here? We had to stop him 30 minutes later after all of our plates were cleared by the busboy, to ask for the check. You could see we were visibly annoyed and frustrated. He said he would grabbed it, never asked if we wanted to split the check or anything, again, maybe we should've said something. He came back 10 minutes later with the check, and we had to tell him that unfortunately we wanted it split. He took another 5 minutes to bring the split checks. Honestly at this point I was annoyed, I don't think I've ever had a service this bad. I also ordered barbacoa to go, now maybe I should've specified that I wanted it out along with my food, because I didn't really care if it was warm or not I was going to take it home and eat it the following day. We finished eating a little before 7:40. and they hadn't even started the food. I didn't get it until about 5-10 after I paid. I was so annoyed I thought about leaving my paid for food. I don't see us coming back and I would not suggest.
