Great food and a wonderful location near the Village. It's nice to be able to eat inside or outside on the patio when the weather is nice. The food is very high quality. Service can be slow sometimes, but the staff is super friendly. They could use a menu refresh, or some specials, as they've had the exact same menu as long as we have lived here (nearly 6 years).

I'm not a fan of Italian restaurants, but this one impressed me. The food was some of the best I've eaten. The ravioli was awesome. It was light but filling. I also had salad and pistachio ice cream which were also very good. The servers were super nice and helpful as I ordered. I opted to sit outside since it was nice and breezy out but had to move inside due to rain. Even the bartender was helpful and engaged me in conversation. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

We visited Danielle's late on a Friday evening. It was a nice change to the always crowded restaurants in Castle Rock. The food is fabulously prepared to order in the scratch kitchen. They have a great wine and cocktail list.

We arrived around 5:30 pm. The restaurant was bright and cheery. A few tables were filled inside and outside. Our waiter, Brian, greeted us, asking if we wanted drinks. We ordered some soft drinks while discussing the menu. I wanted to try the 5 cheese stuffed mushrooms - they were pretty good, with some marinara sauce. We ordered the Cabutto Tenuta La Volta 2017. Brian recommended it since it seemed to be the owner's favorite. It paired well with the Vadouvan Spiced Halibut and Pasta Bolognese - both were delicious. For dessert, we both had the crème brûlée which hit the spot.

The chef here is good. Really good. Seemingly simple dishes on the menu are very well executed. Look forward to returning over and over.

For dessert, I've only had their creme brûlée; but again, YUMMY. Drinks = They have a good variety of soda, beer, wine, italian sodas, etc. Service = The waiters are always friendly and accommodating. Extra condiments on request! :) The front desk is sometimes not 100% friendly, but that's probably because they're so BUSY. Ambience = The church side has awesome ambience, although it feels a tad cramped. But it's a pretty cool setting for an italian restaurant. The "pizza parlor" side feels more spacious but also more like a typical pizza restaurant. It's fine. Location/parking = Location's near downtown but has plenty of parking down the street. They are basically kings on their block -- not really any other parking competition nearby.

What a unique restaurant... inside a restored 1888 stone church. They kept the original stained glass windows, the choir loft & the confessional booth making this one of the most interesting restaurants. The dining area was cozy - not many tables & chairs. Our table was too small for four adults with bread, apps & dinner plates. However, our server was great, very attentive. Always near to clear plates, friendly & fast service. We started with bread & Italian salsa. The bread was good but the salsa was even better. It was fantastic & full of flavor. Next, for apps we had the Meatballs & Fried Calamari. The meatballs needed more seasoning & the sauce was bland. The calamari was rubbery & chewy. The Lemon Aioli that came with it was tasty. Our entrees were the Chicken Parm & the Crab Stuffed Shrimp with Linguine & Sauce. The portion sizes were big. The chicken was prepared nicely & was tender. The sauce unfortunately was bland. Same with the shrimp dish, it needed more seasoning, I didn't taste the crab & the lemon butter sauce had too much garlic for me. Perhaps our meal was a one off. Their menu is extensive & I will give them another try...the Lobster Ravioli sounds good. Note, on the other side of the restaurant is a pizzeria, called Slice Works, with a dining room & outdoor patio. I will try this as well.

Our food was good across the board but not great and that's not bad. The pricing is reasonable (outside of some drinks/cocktails) and the staff is friendly and responsive. The parking situation sucks but that's the nature of there they are (you will need to remember your license plate to give to the hostess when you walk in) There are a few good Italian choices in Castle rock and this is one of them for sure but I'm not sure it's our first choice. That being said, we will likely be back at some point.

Made a reservation as that's what is recommended on their social media. The bread with olive oil was not bad. Lightweight and not heavy. I decided on the Prince Edward Island Mussels because I've seen them posted on their social media. When they were served, a fishy smell wafted up to me. I don't like that smell. Not a good smell. The mussels themselves were ok. Lack of any taste, even in the sauce. I usually like dunking bread in the sauce but this one didn't taste that good. The server was friendly and very nice. As was the bus person who brought me water. However, I'm not sure I'd eat here again. The dishes are quite pricey. And this meal was meh. Cute place though.

When the delivery driver gave me the food I immediately knew it was missing items. I was missing 2 meals, so I called and pressed 2 to speak to a manager. The female I spoke with did not identify herself, told me I needed to go pick up the missing parts of my order. When I got to Parry's it was very busy. I explained I spoke with a manager and was there to pick up my missing order. The counter staff went and got a man that explained the female I spoke with was NOT a manager and that she should have gotten one instead of handling it. Great. He went and found my order and handed it to me and said thanks and left. Thank goodness I checked it in the car, it was still missing the salad. I had to go inside a second time to get what was missing from my order. When I got home the dressing was incorrect, there was coleslaw on a sandwich I asked for it to not be on and, a meatball sub had a meatball outside of the sandwich that looked as if a bite was taken out of it, I really hope not! I am so frustrated with Parry's, for Not trying to apologize for the inconvenience of having to come pick up my food after having it delivered and incorrect! I'm not asking for the whole meal to be comp'd just a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Yes, I get it that this is a minor inconvenience, but you do order at a restaurant and expect your order to be correct, to get all of it, and get good customer service for what you pay. Doubt I will ever eat at Parry's Castle Rock again.
