Was experiencing issues with my hvac system not cooling correct and my thermostat kept resetting. Reached out to Daniels home services. Received an online quote of 99 dollars to come diagnose my system. Tech arrived on time, let him perform his tests. Tech told me that he could not find any issues with my system and maybe I should replace the thermostat that was only one year old. Price changed to 120 when Tech was here. Paid them even though my system was still not right. Had to reach out to another company for another opinion. Other company was able to fix my hvac unit . Ended up being a small issue with the condensation pump safety switch. Hvac is running perfectly now. Will not be doing business with Daniel Services again. read more

Replaced my water heater after it went out all of the sudden. Responded very quickly and arrived on time to complete the job. Installed a new water heater and got the 16 years old system up to code in a few hours. They weren't the cheapest quote but the hot water was back on in minutes and they came out the same day. Be careful to clarify with this business what their estimates cover, because I just got a classic bait and switch. I requested several estimates on Yelp for a clogged drain repair. Daniel's provided the best quote of $99. Afterwards, they said this quote was just for the tech visit and tried to charge me $399. When I pointed out the discrepancy, they reduced to $300, but this was still significantly more expensive than other quotes I received. It seems clear that other quotes I received on Yelp were for *actual* drain repair. The technician who visited was reliable and quick. He did a good job and I would have no problem recommending him independent of this pricing issue. This is a problem with leadership, since I was working with his boss on payment. Ultimately, this leaves a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be using Daniel's anymore. read more

When we initially found Daniel's Home Services, we thought we had struck gold -- especially in a realm of shady, overpriced, and unreliable "professionals!" We hired him for a big job costing several thousand dollars, only to then discover that the team he had sent out to do the work didn't actually do everything quoted and included the invoice. Nevertheless, Daniel himself still seemed like a good guy, so we gave him another chance and requested a quote for additional work; he responded over a week later and provided a quote that was not indicative of what we had very specifically requested. Thereafter some friends of ours used his company as well; two young men showed up to fix an issue they had absolutely no competence or expertise in. Consequently, these friends were asked to pay for the two hours that the guys he sent spent aimlessly wondering around and not actually fixing anything. And, lastly, another referral we had provided was told someone would come the following day, nobody showed, and then (after calling several more times), someone finally showed up and said everything needed to be replaced and it would take a week; found someone else who replaced one $5 piece in 15 minutes. TLDR: if you're an absolute novice who can't turn a screwdriver, these guys might seem great -- especially if you're willing to wait, reschedule, and wait some more! read more

They offered me an annual maintenance package which included biannual cleaning and labor for $500 to cover two AC units and hot water heating system - I paid $300 extra for coolant refill. They cleaned and inspected both ACs and solved the problem with the AC not cooling. I am happy with their service. I recently moved into a new home and within the first week had my first unfortunate event as a first time home owner. A loose pipe cause water from my upstairs shower to leak going down the stairwell to the main area and basement. Luckily a colleague of mine recommended Carlos at Daniel's Home Services and they were Fantastic! Their team listened to what I experience and worked quickly to diagnose and resolve the problem. Being honest, as my first major repair, I was a bit nervous at how much it would all cost and fortunately the rate was very competitive. While inside of my home the guys were very respectful and wore their masks throughout the completion of the job, removed their shoes when walking on the carpeted area, and thoroughly cleaned up the drywall that was left on the floor before leaving. So I reached out and spoke to Carlos as I was looking for an HVAC solution for my garage, he came by and was very knowledgeable. I asked if I purchased the unit directly from the factory, would they be able to install and he agreed to it. When equipment was delivered, his crew (headed up by Jose) came by within days and did an excellent job. As you can see from the pics, very clean installation of an LG mini-split 18,000BTU unit. Very happy with it, does air, heat and dehumidifies and connected to Google Home and Amazon Alexa. I live in a ranch rambler built in the 1960s that had underground ductwork. We noticed after purchasing the house that half of the house was not receiving adequate cooling or heating and it seemed like there was a leak somewhere. Unfortunately, this was not repairable and the best way to solve this was through installation of new ducts through the attic. This required a new HVAC unit and new water heater, as both of my units were old and the closet where both were in needed the units to get reposition to fit the new HVAC unit and ductwork. Daniel came to do the initial inspection and quote and we were able to fairly negotiate a competitive rate under market price. His team took about a week and a half to complete the work. Luckily it was only one day without any Hvac but it was cool in the Spring so not much of a hassle. He was responsive when contacted and his team was nice and efficient. They also repaired holes and damages during initial installation that required painting and plastering. Only improvements I would suggest would be more careful attention to cleaning/dust debris (they did clean up but more attention to detail would help in the future); and also a schedule of times worked, it seemed more like a surprise when the team of guys would show up each day and during remote work, it's hard to plan around that. Keeping this in mind and letting him know in advance, you should be good! But all in all very satisfied with work completed and quality! read more
