Found this place on Yelp and was in search of a lei for my cousin's TCHS graduation. I was set on…read moregetting a green and yellow lei as opposed to the usual purple lei. I found a photo of a green and yellow lei they had previously sold to past customer and decided to call in and ask if they had one in stock. The graduation was a few days out so I was pretty rushed to find a lei in time. I called in and spoke to the person (I think the name was Ronnie?) and they kindly informed me that they would have to see if they can make a yellow and green colored lei in time. They gave other colored options just in case the green and yellow was unavailable. After I got off the phone, they let me know the price (about $71) which needed to be paid before they can put the order in. I venmoed the money over and received a photo of the lei the day before graduation. I let her know that I will be in the morning of the graduation to pick it up and everything went smoothly! Communication was great, pick up time was easy and my cousin was thrilled with the lei! The price was a bit high though but the customer service was great!

The flowers they chose were very nice, even throwing in some flowers that weren't in season until next month. They also help do delivery if your event is local in the SGV. They also do a great job of explaining that different flowers they're using, as well as cost based on season and what's available.

The transaction went through, my credit card was charged, and I received a confirmation email. On their website they said the earliest pick up time was 10:30a. I wrote a note saying I will pick up the order at 11:30a. The next day I drove to the florist shop and arrived at the hotel only to find that they had cancelled my order and had notified me via email two hours before my pick up time. The florist said they were booked with a wedding and were unable to fulfill my order. I was unable to find an alternative with such short notice and showed up to my event empty handed. UPDATE: it has been 13 days since I placed my order with this company and have yet to receive my refund. When I tried to call the phone number provided, it's a Google voice number that no one picks up. I sent two emails and there has been zero communication. This company stole $500 from me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM.

There are several major north-south roads in this area, and Rosemead Boulevard is one of them. San Gabriel Boulevard is another. The road is wide and easy to drive. The nursery is right across the street from Com Tam Kieu Restaurant, one of the better Vietnamese broken rice restaurants in Southern California. On the way there, I passed a construction site, probably a new apartment building. It strongly gave me the impression of an EB-5 green card project, the kind of real estate development marketed less as a normal apartment building and more as an immigration investment package for Chinese buyers. In the middle of the SGV, that feeling was hard to miss. After that came the nursery. I drove from north to south, made a left turn onto a smaller street, and parked outside. The entrance is tiny. You walk through it and immediately reach the counter, where there was even a line. After that, you pass into an indoor room stocked with fertilizers, plant stakes, soil, mulch, and other gardening supplies. Beyond that is the back garden, which is much larger than expected and quite elegant. The plants are clearly well cared for, and the stone sculptures give the place a strong hint of Chinese culture. Along the edge of the main building, there are stacks of Buddha heads, seated Buddhas, and other stone figures, mostly in Chinese Buddhist or imagined Buddhist styles, though not necessarily following any strict traditional standard. There are Chinese signs everywhere, which makes sense for a nursery in the middle of the SGV. Many of the plants have bilingual names. The prices are not cheap, but they are fair. The orchids are much more expensive than what you would find at Trader Joe's or Costco, but they are also more beautiful and much stronger, so I would not call them overpriced. The plants use different colored tags, similar to what you see in many American discount stores. Some are very cost-effective. It is definitely worth stopping by, and even more worth it if you happen to find some good discounted plants. The cashier was a little rude, but as a Chinese person, I found it completely acceptable. I have seen much worse. Even though she was in a rush, the service was not bad. She even gave me an extra bag so the soil would not spill in my car. Overall, this is a good nursery and I would recommend it. It is even better if you understand Chinese culture, because many of the details will make more sense.

Procrastination. that will describe me in one word. I went this to store about 8 months ago for graduation. I bought a regular bouquet of mixed flowers, and the flowers were alright...not very fresh nothing special. So i didnt think anything of it. about 6 months later, it was my crush's birthday and i wanted to really WOW her. So i bought a half dozen roses, and was talked into getting a "hong kong style". It was really pretty, i thought...I recently went to other stores and compared them. Not only was it better, more fresh, and bigger. It was cheaper or the same price (dont quite remember the exact price). Anyways, just saying. Be WISE! dont just assume its the best. Check out these other Yelp Florists (not going to name any, cause i aint so educated in this topic either) but there is DEFINETELY a reason why this place has 2 stars compared to others who have 5 stars. this used to be my hot spot for flowers. unfortunately i havent had a gf for like a year now, but ive met someone =]!! i had a date and i thought i need some flowers. So i stopped by this store. Things have changed for the worse. The guy there is decent, not nice/helpful but at least he wasnt completely mean. when i got my flowers, they were decent. not great. i dont think they used fresh flowers for mine. maybe it was a bad day, i dont know. But i seriously think that freshness EVERYTIME is important. Anyways, hopefully they will do better next time. Since there's such a variety of color I was able to pick out my dates dress color, which is a miracle. Maybe I got lucky, but I think they really go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy and satisfied. They delivered the flowers on time and used proper discretion when dropping it off. They kept in contact with me and the recipient so that the order would successfully and safely go through. Mary also is very communicative via email and I was able to reach out to her and feel secure about the entire process. To be quite frank, the floral industry can be pretty rough and as a result, a lot of florists skimp out and take shortcuts. I'm happy to say that they don't. This was unexpected and appreciate that our friend was just letting us know that she was thinking of us during this time. When it was delivered, a male came out of his car, which was parked right in front of our driveway and he placed the vase on our door mat. He rang the doorbell very quickly, multiple times and then left. The reason why I know this was because I was home. I was sitting near the front door when the man approached the house (I was busy working on something so I was not able to get up right away when I saw the man coming to our front door). The bouquet itself is very nice and full. They were fresh. The bouquet lasted about 10 days, after I had cut the stems, replaced cold fresh water and also added a spoonful of sugar (which is food for the flowers. I learned that from a florist friend of mine). The flowers probably could have lasted 14 days but I decided to toss it out in our trash can so that it would be in time for trash day. Overall, our delivery was a positive experience . I just wanted to include this review for those who are sending flowers to a loved one and wanted to know that being on the receiving end was good.
