Check out this Bourbon Burger - yes cheese curds!!
    Crystal C.

You know when you want a delicious burger and fries, but not necessarily from a fast food place? YUP, me too. And I found this gem of a place! Yes, I said gem. It is tucked into a few other store fronts, but you will see it right away. The Bourbon burger was delicious, the server helping me was patient, attentive and kind, and the French fries were PERFECT. I like them crispy, and they were fresh and crispy and everything was just enough. The portions (huge for my burger loving self), and all their burgers are a combo with fries and a drink. Even better! Totally affordable and everything that was looking for to satisfy my burger and fries craving. Parking was not an issue, there were tvs playing, it wasn't super busy when I went on a weekend evening, and everything was clean throughout the restaurant. I cannot wait to try more things on their menu! Also - they have non soda options, if you want that too. Just be sure to ask, in case you miss it on the menu. But also - can we say cheese curds? The Bourbon Burger is delish!

11/10 overall!! we got there at an off hour, at like 4:30pm, on a saturday. there was only two other tables who seemed like they had already ordered, one couple was taking it to go, the other was dining in. we ordered a bacon burger and a wicked cow OG burger and they were MIND BLOWING. we also got onion rings and the truffle fries. everything tasted so so delicious and it was exactly what we were craving. the only down side was, given the other tables had ordered, the waitress (who was so so sweet and kind) said that their burgers usually take 15 minutes or so to come out, and it took closer to 25 min with barely anyone inside.....this being said i am not sure how long the wait would be had the restaurant been busier we will definitely be back!

AMAZING BURGERS!! I had the bourbon burger && my boyfriend had the bacon bacon burger. You definitely taste the quality in the meat. The sauces are amazing, we both got our burgers cooked medium, and they cooked it to a perfection. Service was really good. I forgot his name, but he was very friendly. my boyfriend got the regular fries and I decided to try the wicked fries it wasn't my favorite fries, but I'm glad I tried it but definitely this spot has one of my favorite kinds of burgers. And that's coming from someone who works at In-N-Out Burger lol

Went to this place for the first time for lunch on a Monday. They were not busy at all (maybe just 1 other customer). Their truffle burger was cooked to perfection. Fries have that "lawry's" seasoning that I like from local mom and pops burger joint. Grilled cheese is cheesy for my kid. My spouse tried their chicken sandwich (he said it was just ok). The place is clean and has a bar area with a couple TVs. Our server was very courteous. I can imagine this place gets busy for dinner but I think it's a hidden gem. I'm glad we went there for lunch. Oh and we tried the strawberry lemonade too which was great and reminiscent of the mom & pop burger joint.

I got the spicy fried chicken sandwich. This was essentially a piece of jerky with how it was overcooked. No spice whatsoever. The fries were not that impressive either, very basic and flavorless.

First time ordering from here - Portion size was very good and the food was very tasty on the plus side ! On the negative side, I asked for the steak well done and it was not as you can see from the pictures. Also, the onion rings for $ 8 came with nothing, completely dry ! No ketchup, ranch , or anything , and no drop down menu when ordering to pick anything ! TBD if I will reorder !!

Short Rib Melt Sandwichomg so good
    Dwaine W.

Ok so this is the second time ordering from here for me, this time I got the short rib sandwich. And it was so good I'm gonna come back a third time. Host said it takes four hours to make the short ribs, and you can tell. The fries are nothing to write about. Probably skip those next time and opt for the salad

    Shelly Y.

Umm...this place sucks. I'm shocked to see so many great reviews. Food was very mediocre, including their ranch and thousand island sauces. The burger meat had an off taste and texture. The onion rings had zero flavor. I don't think any seasoning was used on anything we ordered. We tried the mini burgers, wicked cow burger, chicken strips, onion rings, fries, and their steak sandwich which was the best item we chose. Won't be giving this place a second shot.

Love it here! Great food! Great service! I always get the Impossible Burger and it never dissapoints! I really want this place to stay here because its become my new local spot to grab a quickie bite of food, during weekenight or weekend! Ask for Shmayah. She will take great care of you!

    Smokehouse mezcal burger
    Patty L.

Was craving a burger, and since we came to the shopping center for wanderlust (delicious btw) and I've had a pretty good burger there before, why not. It's fashioned as a dine-in area, but you can order to-go or pick-up/delivery. The latter seems more popular of an option. The last time I came, there was a bit of a mess as the drink machine was being repaired and tools littered in the hallway entrance. This time, most of the tables were clean with little cluttering the floor. Keep in mind, parking can be a bit of a hassle at this location, depending on time of day. They have booth seating, tables, and bar seating with tvs. Only noticed 1 employee, Shmayah, when we first got there. Eventually, a cook and manager appeared in the kichen. Shmayah was super friendly and easy to talk to. She took our order and definitely seemed welcoming which was the highlight of the visit. We ordered a kid's grill cheese meal, a strawberry lemonade, and a smokehouse mezcal burger. It took a while for the food to be made. About 25 minutes so order ahead if you don't plan to dine-in. I enjoyed the drink but the meals themself were disappointing. Smokehouse mezcal was dry and didn't have much flavor. But it definitely packed heat due to the jalapeños. Needed something more, maybe additional sauce. Like I mentioned, I've had the smokehouse burger before and that was tasty. Guess I should have stuck with that option during this visit. The grilled cheese didn't have much flavor either. Kid lost interest in eating it and since its something that costs $11, I attempted to have the remaining slice but would have been better off with my own craft sandwich version. It just hasn't been a consistent experience. Should I swing by again, I'll give an update.

The wicked cow burger with fries
    Michal G.

I ordered the wicked cow burger to go, which comes with thousand island sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and cheddar cheese with fries. I got this burger with everything except red onions and cheddar cheese. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was extremely juicy and fresh. The fries were amazing as well and very soft and well seasoned. It also came with ranch and BBQ sauce on the side. It's definitely worth the price which was $15.99 plus tax. I highly recommend trying this place at least once.

If your looking for a real sub look no further A friend…read moretold me about Cricca's Deli & being a big fan of Sub's I had to check this place out. Let just start with Cricca's Deli makes some seriously well-crafted sandwiches. The quality really stands out -- generous portions of meat, fresh vegetables, and great attention to detail in every bite. You have several choices of bread, and I went with the soft roll, which tasted bakery-fresh and was the perfect match for the sandwich. The large subs are truly large -- easily big enough to share between two people. If you're looking for a deli sandwich made with fresh ingredients and generous portions, Cricca's is definitely worth a visit. If you in the area or looking for a high quality sandwich you have to check this place out - you will not be disappointed. I'll be back For Sure

It's a small Italian deli that hits the way you want it to. To the right as soon as you walk in, there's seats and a table where you can wait for your to go order or to eat there. The entire shop was clean, neat and orderly. It's sensory overload walking in. There's a lot going on. The menu is massive. I knew what I wanted after doing some homework before arriving so I was ready. The lady that took my order couldn't have been more of a pleasure to deal with. I placed my order, paid, tipped and sat down. A few minutes later, I had what is probably the best sandwich I've had this year. I should have sat in the parking lot and enjoyed it but I wanted the elbow room because I knew this was a monster. After I got home and unwrapped this behemoth, I instantly knew it was worth the drive. The Dillinger (which is what I ordered) has Pastrami, Meatballs, Italian Sausage, Pepperoni, Mozz Cheese, Garlic Butter and Marinara Sauce. If there's a better (big back) sandwich, I'll wait for your reply. This was soooooo gooood. In every bite you could taste each ingredient separately and it was an explosion of flavors. I ordered a small cup of their marinara sauce to dip/drizzle on each bite.....couldn't have been a better decision. Worth it. The 3 ladies that were working the front counter (around noon on 4/23) were the best. Just an all around great experience and fantastic food. I'll be back soon FOR SURE!!!!

I ordered a the Dom and a supremo on their website at about 1:30pm on a Friday. It was ready at 2:30, which seemed like a crazy long wait for a sandwich, especially considering the place was empty when I got there. But alas. I wonder if it would have been quicker for me to just go in and order in person. Anyway, the wait (and 30 minutes of wandering around target to kill time) was worth it. The supremo - it's basically a slice of pepperoni cheese bread. Which is delicious. My late uncle's friend used to make us a pepperoni bread every year at Christmas and try as I might, I could never make it as good as hers. This one is closer than I've gotten! They forgot the side of Marinara for dipping, though, but it's fine because I have no chill and inhaled this thing on the drive home. While I was expecting something a little bigger based on the photo and the price, it was tasty and I would prooooobably get it again. The Dom - the real reason I'm here: a sandwich! I asked them to swap out the provolone for pepper jack, as I do not like provolone. The ratio of all the ingredients was spot on! The bread was soft with a little chew. Everything was fresh. Sandwich was a good size overall. 10/10, would eat again. Excited to go back to try a pizza or maybe a meatball sub or lasagna!

My husband purchased several knishes from Mort's Deli. We understood these to be meat knishes based upon how they were described and priced. After bringing them home and cutting them open, we discovered that they were not true meat knishes, but rather potato-and-meat knishes. Had the product been accurately described, we would not have purchased it. We specifically sought meat knishes and paid the corresponding price (see the receipts attached). When I contacted the store to address the issue, employee Kate maintained that the potato-and-meat knish should nevertheless be considered a meat knish. Regardless of the terminology used internally by the store, the product was not what we reasonably understood we were purchasing. The situation became even more troubling when I repeatedly requested copies of the receipts. During the course of the dispute, I was informed that the receipts were not accessible. However, the receipts were ultimately produced and later emailed to me as ordered by the police. Notably, the receipts explicitly identified the product as a "Brisket Knish" and reflected the corresponding charge. The receipts therefore became an important part of understanding how the product had been represented and sold. Rather than resolving the matter promptly and professionally, manager Gail continued to escalate the situation unnecessarily. Ultimately, Gail instigated the calling of law enforcement to the store. Two police officers responded to the scene. Following their investigation, the store was ordered by the police to produce the receipts. The police officers became involved in what should have been a routine customer-service matter. With their assistance, the receipts were eventually produced after previously being misrepresented as inaccessible. What makes this experience particularly upsetting is that my husband is severely disabled, partially paralyzed, and walks with a cane. What should have been a simple request for fair treatment escalated into an unnecessary confrontation involving law enforcement. The needless inconvenience, travel, physical burden, and emotional distress inflicted upon both my husband and me were unfair and unjustifiable. As loyal customers, we found the entire experience shocking and disturbing. We sent the store owner an email detailing the incident but the owner never responded.

There are not any seats to eat there, so everything is to go, but service is quick and the guy was nice behind the counter. Go check them out, grab a lotto ticket if your into that, get some great food, support a local woman & minority owned business, not enough of them out there. Enjoy!

The ladies at the front were super helpful and gave great recommendations. We ended up trying the soujouk and the peppered turkey, and both were amazing!! But honestly you guys, that soujouk sandwich... JUST WOW! The soujouk has this perfect spicy, peppery flavor that just hits. I had never tried it with mayo and avocado before, but the combination worked so well together. Everything blended perfectly! Highly recommend this spot, Trust!

They have a variety of different deli meats and they're made in a pita wrap. I don't believe they have regular bread here. We ordered a large hot pastrami wrap with mustard. There are some ingredients you have to specifically ask for if you want them in your wrap like lettuce and onion, we didn't realize until after. We really enjoyed the wrap! It was good quality pastrami and overall a tasty meal. It just wasn't a lot of food, I split the large with my boyfriend but I could have easily eaten the whole thing myself. I'm curious how much smaller the small is. The price difference is $10 vs $14. After eating it, we both agreed this place is definitely worth coming back to. Looking forward to trying more!

It's a few doors down from Blue Bottle and offers a quaint outdoor seating area to drink in the sun's Vitamin D rays beneath the patio umbrellas. You might've seen their mobile bakery food truck by farmers markets in Torrance and Mar Vista or around Culver City with their signature, artisanal loaves, pastries, and giant cinnamon rolls. After all, they're known for their daily, freshly-baked breads like the Seeded Grain, Country Sourdough (it's naturally-leavened), Jerusalem Bagel loaf, crusty Baguettes, and a Brioche Challah that's specially baked on Fridays. You can find a variety of deli favorites, avocado toast, salads, and shakshuka on their menu. At its core, Lodge is a fusion of classic bakery goods meets Middle Eastern heritage. Everything is baked in their intimate kitchen and the staff is super nice & helpful. Of course, it's me so I deliberated between the shakshuka or a bread-y deliciousness long enough to have my friend just choose for me. She chose wisely! The Veggie Sammie was chock full of yum, wholesome goodness, and nature's vitamins to soothe my achy-broken arm. With gratitude, I indulged in their freshly-baked seeded-grain piled high with avocado, sprouts cucumbers, tomato, lettuce & shmeared with a zesty pepper aioli + a pickle on the side. It hit the spot, despite me not being hungry. Our order was #86 and it was a gentle reminder that thankfully, I only broke my arm, and not my neck. So I can return next time to enjoy their shakshuka--or avocado toast.

They seem quite busy in the am, for the morning patrons and early risers. An abundance of bread, cafe style options, ready to go bites and delights as well as beverages. The aromas are amazing and they definitely have a great flow, though they did forget my cold brew order for some odd reason, they usually never miss a beat. Team Vegan Caesar Salad! And team Fresh Veggie Sammie! They have a variety of baked things, salad stuff, sides, sammies (sandwiches), toasts (including avocado) and breakfast meets lunch style items. It's a full crew at the lodge from 8am til 4pm daily. Definitely on the moderate side of coast, though being a small biz and one of only three locations in Greater Los Angeles, they definitely make the effort for quality as well as quantity. And I do love supporting small as well as Veteran-owned gems like this. A lot of the bread is dairy and egg free, which I'm all for - especially their Ancient Grain Loaf, Sprouted Rye, Focaccia and Olive Loafs.
