I always feel uneasy about leaving a negative review, but I hope this feedback helps the restaurant in the long run. My daughter gave birth at Tarazana Hospital on July 9, and she and the family were looking forward to burgers. I ordered through DoorDash for five people: two vegans and three carnivores. The order was for two vegan burgers, three different non-vegan burgers with fries, and three shakes. The total with delivery was over $160. When the delivery arrived, nothing in the bags was labeled, and we couldn't figure out which burger was which. My son-in-law had to bite into the burgers to identify them. There were no condiments or napkins included, and the burgers were cold and dry. Additionally, two orders of cheese fries were included that we did not order. I believe it is the restaurant's responsibility to ensure condiments and napkins are packed, to clearly label multiple items, and to ensure food is hot when it leaves the restaurant, especially since the hospital is less than a block away. read more

It is tucked into a few other store fronts, but you will see it right away. The Bourbon burger was delicious, the server helping me was patient, attentive and kind, and the French fries were PERFECT. I like them crispy, and they were fresh and crispy and everything was just enough. The portions (huge for my burger loving self), and all their burgers are a combo with fries and a drink. Even better! Totally affordable and everything that was looking for to satisfy my burger and fries craving. Parking was not an issue, there were tvs playing, it wasn't super busy when I went on a weekend evening, and everything was clean throughout the restaurant. Wicked Cow opened up back in 2021 and it took me several years to experience the goodness; what a long overdue mistake. If you're looking for a good burger or sandwich look no further. This casual joint in fact also has more than a burger or sandwich alone as you eat enjoy various things such as starters such as a short rib poutine and buffalo cauliflower, various entrees such as pub style fish & chips and a pan-seared sea bass, salads, and various items. I recently did a takeout order via the Yelp app and was pleasantly surprised. I wanted to start with a more classic burger then the more extensively flavored ones. The basic Wicked Cow burger did not disappoint with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, cheddar cheese and a thousand island dressing. The burger was juicy and flavorful and the quality of everything was great; the side of fries were well cooked and seasoned appropriately. I did an order of onion rings too and the batter, thickness of them, seasoning, and crunch were really good. I didn't get a good look inside but it seemed fine for a casual establishment. There's a shared parking lot so parking should not be an issue. Prices are fair and comparable to the times. Looking forward to trying more burgers! read more

11/10 overall!! we got there at an off hour, at like 4:30pm, on a saturday. there was only two other tables who seemed like they had already ordered, one couple was taking it to go, the other was dining in. we ordered a bacon burger and a wicked cow OG burger and they were MIND BLOWING. we also got onion rings and the truffle fries. everything tasted so so delicious and it was exactly what we were craving. the only down side was, given the other tables had ordered, the waitress (who was so so sweet and kind) said that their burgers usually take 15 minutes or so to come out, and it took closer to 25 min with barely anyone inside.....this being said i am not sure how long the wait would be had the restaurant been busier we will definitely be back! read more

The sauces are amazing, we both got our burgers cooked medium, and they cooked it to a perfection. Service was really good. I forgot his name, but he was very friendly. my boyfriend got the regular fries and I decided to try the wicked fries it wasn't my favorite fries, but I'm glad I tried it but definitely this spot has one of my favorite kinds of burgers. Went to this place for the first time for lunch on a Monday. They were not busy at all (maybe just 1 other customer). Their truffle burger was cooked to perfection. Fries have that "lawry's" seasoning that I like from local mom and pops burger joint. Grilled cheese is cheesy for my kid. My spouse tried their chicken sandwich (he said it was just ok). The place is clean and has a bar area with a couple TVs. Our server was very courteous. I can imagine this place gets busy for dinner but I think it's a hidden gem. I'm glad we went there for lunch. Umm...this place sucks. I'm shocked to see so many great reviews. Food was very mediocre, including their ranch and thousand island sauces. The burger meat had an off taste and texture. The onion rings had zero flavor. I don't think any seasoning was used on anything we ordered. I have always been the biggest advocate for Wicked Cow. I've told so many people about this place on Social Media and in real life. I had a really bad experience here and won't be coming back for a while and just want to share what I ordered and to hopefully guide people with their orders. --Door Dash (Pickup)-- I ordered through DoorDash and wanted to leave a tip for my pickup order but there was no option to do this.... I always tip for this place and was surprised I couldn't on Door Dash this time. --Past experiences--- First of all, in the past (you can see) I've been a huge fan of their burgers. The burgers I had in the past were amazing, but the other menu items not so much. It is possible that their new menu item called "cheeseburger" is a different quality than their traditional items and that would make sense... --What I ordered this time-- I ordered two cheeseburgers to go, no frill, just a patty and cheese. With side salad for each. Don't get this item. It's bad. Really bad. The inside of the bun is drinched in oil or butter, so much so that I almost think someone was playing a practical joke for me. It was just so oily, and has left me feeling ill (not from food poisoning, just from oil). The service wasn't the best today either. My to-go order was on the counter for a while, and I could see it, but I was told to wait. I waited at the bar for a while until they grabbed my bag. I didn't even know the food would be bad at this point, but felt so unwelcomed that when I got to the car and realized a salad was missing, I just said "nevermind" I don't want to go back in there. Was craving a burger, and since we came to the shopping center for wanderlust (delicious btw) and I've had a pretty good burger there before, why not. It's fashioned as a dine-in area, but you can order to-go or pick-up/delivery. The latter seems more popular of an option. The last time I came, there was a bit of a mess as the drink machine was being repaired and tools littered in the hallway entrance. This time, most of the tables were clean with little cluttering the floor. Keep in mind, parking can be a bit of a hassle at this location, depending on time of day. They have booth seating, tables, and bar seating with tvs. Only noticed 1 employee, Shmayah, when we first got there. Eventually, a cook and manager appeared in the kichen. Shmayah was super friendly and easy to talk to. She took our order and definitely seemed welcoming which was the highlight of the visit. We ordered a kid's grill cheese meal, a strawberry lemonade, and a smokehouse mezcal burger. It took a while for the food to be made. About 25 minutes so order ahead if you don't plan to dine-in. I enjoyed the drink but the meals themself were disappointing. Smokehouse mezcal was dry and didn't have much flavor. But it definitely packed heat due to the jalapeños. Needed something more, maybe additional sauce. Like I mentioned, I've had the smokehouse burger before and that was tasty. Guess I should have stuck with that option during this visit. The grilled cheese didn't have much flavor either. Kid lost interest in eating it and since its something that costs $11, I attempted to have the remaining slice but would have been better off with my own craft sandwich version. It just hasn't been a consistent experience. Should I swing by again, I'll give an update. read more

I ordered the wicked cow burger to go, which comes with thousand island sauce, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles and cheddar cheese with fries. I got this burger with everything except red onions and cheddar cheese. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. It was extremely juicy and fresh. The fries were amazing as well and very soft and well seasoned. It also came with ranch and BBQ sauce on the side. It's definitely worth the price which was $15.99 plus tax. The server came over to let me know they made a mistake on my fries and made it truffle fries. I wouldn't say no to a free upgrade so I said I'm ok with it. Just went here for the first time and it was pretty good! I got the impossible burger with cheese, fries, and an Arnold Palmer. My boyfriend got a wicked burger and fries. Good news: decent prices. Service is attentive & accommodating...ish. Beef patty was juicy & tasty, as were the sautéed mushrooms. Strawberry, goat cheese & grilled chicken salad was fine. Challenges: -A burger was ordered wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun - in Los Angeles, it's pretty clear that "wrapped in lettuce" means most literally enclosed by lettuce, a la' SHAKE SHACK or FIVE GUYS. Floppy pieces of lettuce leaves - maybe 2 (pieces) on bottom & 2 on top - was how it arrived. Fries were cooked as ordered, crispy & well done. - The grilled chicken in the salad was moist & delicious. The lettuce must have come from the core of the head - you know, the white, crunchy part chopped into little pieces, missing the healthier greener outer leaves. About 7 leaves of spinach were added in: not the "mixed greens" one typically expects in a salad. Again, LA knows what REAL salads are made of. It's kind of strange that the price of fried pickles was almost the same cost as the burger + fries or the salad with grilled chicken. I'd blame it on the current cost of cukes, but these menus haven't been updated in what looks like quite awhile. It's unclear if the server didn't understand the assignment (burger wrapped in lettuce, diner's literal allergy to onions - in which the mushrooms were sautéed, resulting in worshipping the porcelain goddess...) or if there was miscommunication or difficulty stemming from the cook. The server was attentive & checked in to see if we needed refills, etc. Cleanliness of the space was most definitely meh. Overall, I personally would rather pay a little more for a burger at a place with a less awesome logo. read more

Came here for dinner on the 4th of July and was able to enjoy exactly what I was looking for - a good old American burger and fries. I ordered the Outlaw burger, which has all of my favorite burger toppings (bacon, onion rings, cheddar cheese and bbq sauce). The burger patty was well seasoned and the fries were also excellent. In the valley we are always looking for new places to try & we found Wicked Cow on yelp. We thought that it was a restaurant where you can walk in, place your order, get your food & then sit down to eat it. But when we entered the guy behind the counter who was super friendly asked how many in our group & then sat us down & was our waiter. We didn't really want to do a sit down with waiter service, but we were already there so we went with it. Plus he was really helpful, which was a big plus. We ordered the Strawberry Salad, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Bacon Burger & Short Rib Melt Sandwich. Overall, all the food was really good! Everything looked delicious & was prepared perfectly. My wife who doesn't like French fries, said the fries at Wicked Cow were really good. My wife said the Strawberry Salad could have used more chicken, but overall it was good. I really enjoyed the Short Rib Melt Sandwich, it had great flavor & was well prepared. My son who's a picky eater really enjoyed his Bacon Burger. Lastly, my oldest really liked his Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I'll have to order that one next time. We really enjoyed the interior setup of Wicked Cow. I'm been enjoying stopping in at restaurants on Mondays and getting some work done, on my day off from being GM at a restaurant and winery. Today, I was so happy to stumble upon this space. I just needed a little sun and they had a little outdoor space on Ventura. Nobody was sitting outside on this perfect day, and I was told that it's been weeks since anyone has sat outside. The server was so kind to open the door and wipe off the table for me so I can enjoy the sun. I got two mini burgers, onion rings an iced tea. Hands-down, the best onion rings I've had as long as I can remember. Totally crispy, fresh Panko and seasoning, and an amazing dill ranch to pair with them. The mini burgers were great as well.
