The menu has a decent variety of items. The biggest issue I had was cost. I ordered the Cuban sandwich and it was $16.50...way too small for the cost as the picture shows. Stopped by Danny's Pizza and Burger Bar for lunch a few days ago and decided to try one of their specials! I've had their thin crust pizza with build-you-own toppings before but never tried any of their pre-built pizzas so this was new for me. We sat outside on their super nice patio seating and had a mojito while we patiently waited for our pizza. The mojito was strong and refreshing. It was perfect for the sunny weather outside and went really well with the pizza. The pizza looked gorgeous! It was steaming hot and came with pepperoni, banana peppers, basil, oregano, and of course, hot honey. Flavor wise, the pizza was decent. The cheese and sauce tasted fresh and the pepperoni went well with the other toppings. Unfortunately, there was just an overload of hot honey. So much so, that it was seeping through all the slices through to the bottom, making every slice very very soggy. We essentially had to fold the slices in half to eat it, which was not ideal. Still giving it 4 stars because of my amazing experiences here in the past. If you do visit, I would just get the usual build your own pizza with toppings of your choice. And maybe tell them to go easy on the hot honey if you do get this pizza! read more

The grilled wings are fire here !! Wow. Just wow. Sweet glaze with chili heat at the end. So good. Also, I've never ordered a grilled wing, so crispy and you get to the meat so quickly. The pizza is great. Not the best I've ever had, but the cheese sauce and meat ratio is perfect for the crust. Their crust is not too thin and not too thick. My bad. I've been here multiple times. One of those places, you thought you left a review and never did. So let's get to it. What you really need to know is that I've been there multiple times. And I'm going to continue to go there. I like this place. They have really good pizza. (Small Tips: Be sure to know your pizza types: pan pizza is not deep dish here. They have both) The wings are really are good as well, I love the flavors, my favorite is spicy sweet cajun. The soup I tried was not to good, but I like soup so I might try a different kind. AMAZING PIZZA BUFFET!!!! Today I went to Danny's pizza at the Bolingbrook promenade. And let me tell you it was amazing. Eight different kinds of pizza, four pastas and a salad and fruit bar with homemade cookies for dessert all included with a soft drink for $13. Everything was piping hot and fresh and the manager made sure , everything was well stocked. I would definitely recommend Danny's for their lunchtime pizza buffet. Frank, the manager is awesome and so was my waitress. If you haven't tried Danny's pizza buffet for lunch you are definitely missing out on a good deal and truly awesome food. Just came from the movie and decided we needed dinner so we stopped at Denny's. My wife ordered a cauliflower crust pizza and said it was the best pizza she ever ate quite a compliment because my wife's had a lot of pizzas ordered broiled burger, which is very hard to find everybody now cooks them on a flat grill so they cook fat Waitress Cristine took care of the burger was excellent came medium wear the way I ordered it on a poppyseed bun. Best random a$$ pub food I have ever been to. Did not expect this. Everything was done so well, with intention and flavor. The garlic fries were super garlicky, with giant tasty globs of garlic. The sweet potatoes were sweet and had cinnamon sugar. And the loaded tots were sexy as he||. Just look through the pictures of this place and try not to salivate. We got the spicy chorizo burger and the mango habeñero chi town chicken.  Burger and chicken quality was good but the toppings are what go above and beyond here. The mango sauce on the chicken was delicious. Only thing that had some opportunity was the beer menu. Seriously, they had like 35 beers on the menu, every single one a lager or ipa. Located in the promenade. Great outdoor dining area! A portion of it is covered with fans going - which helps with blocking the sun and keeping cool. They also have a few tables with umbrellas. There is a good variety. So many things sounded good to me. My husband got the southwest salad. He enjoyed it! I hate the light lettuce portion of romaine and it had a lot of it. I personally prefer darker greens. I had a burger with egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and some sort of sauce. It was messy but delicious! The burger was cooked perfectly and had tons of flavor. I really don't know where to begin, so I will start with the good. The waitress was decent. I hate to say this, but that's where the good ends. We ordered at 2pm and didn't get food until 3pm One burger was supposed to be medium- rare...was well done after that wait. First time here. Waiter was super patient and friendly as it took me and my friend forever to order because we were talking too much. I ordered the long island ice tea.. way too much ice but you could definitely taste the alcohol. For an appetizer we ordered the flaming hot cheeto's wings , such a cool concept because who wouldn't love hot cheetos on wings.. the wings were good. For my entree i ordered the Tom and Chee with tater tots. Any restaurant that has tater tot's gets a gold star from me. They give you so much food i had enough for 2 additional meals and from what i can tell the food is made to order. The Tom Chee was so good and the dipping sauce was delicious. Tater tots bomb. This is a pretty cool place located at the Promenade in Bolingbrook. It has outdoor seating when the weather is good and large doors that open up so it feels like an outdoor restaurant. Don't be fooled by pizza being the name because they have a pretty big menu with a lot more than pizza. I got a burger that was pretty good. Big and juicy and had a fried egg. This was our second time eating at Danny's. We had an average experience the first time, but this time was even worse. First, we ordered an appetizer that we wanted to enjoy before dinner. As you can see in the photo, it came out as the same time as our entrees. Poor planning on their part. Next, the food was not that good. The pretzel cheese had a thick ring around it that looked like it had been sitting for a while. The tater tots were extremely crispy, and the bacon on the burger was soggy. We felt like the food was definitely overpriced considering the quality. Finally, the service was terrible. We saw our waitress once when she took our order. When we tried to pay, she was nowhere to be found. When we asked one of the four employees that were just standing at the hostess stand doing nothing, they were visibly annoyed with our request. How dare we ask to pay our bill when they were so busy doing nothing. I've worked in restaurants before, and I wouldn't be caught dead doing nothing--let alone give attitude to a customer. I've ordered from here a few times. My kid likes the pizza. The burgers are pretty good. I saw they had cupcakes added to the dessert menu. My son graduates this week so I thought I'd get some as a little celebration treat. So...just an fyi to local food businesses. You can't go to Costco and buy chocolate muffins, slap some buttercream on it and call them cupcakes. Because that's what these look like. Actually, Costco's chocolate muffins aren't as dry and stale tasting as these were. It didn't help that the delivery driver smashed them by putting the food on top of them. They probably got them from Jewel because there is no way these were made in house. Unfortunately for this restaurant..I'm a former pastry chef. These are chocolate muffins bought from a store and topped with buttercream and being sold as cupcakes. Funny how they disappeared from their menu after they closed tonight. Do better! If you're not making it or buying from an actual bakery then don't sell it. I checked for the nearest grocery store to them, which is Meijers. Do those muffins look familiar? read more

My wife and I lived in Garfield Ridge by the Danny's Pizza location on Archer Ave. from 1986-2001. We ordered Danny's pizza at least twice a month and always brought it home. We never ate inside the restaurant since we lived 2 minutes away. Very good pizza. The best in the 60638 area. Danny's in Bolingbrook is not the same pizza. Everything has changed since Danny's was bought out. My wife and I think that Danny's in Bolingbrook is a little better. Pizza dough and cheese is always cooked to perfection. Ingridients are always piled on high. Pizza sauce may have too much pepper thrown in. We like the location, the open room concept and the service is always excellent and friendly. We noticed that our favorite server Nancy no longer works there. She will be hard to beat on service and friendliness. The price of the salads are its only negative. The portions are not enough for two people. If you find coupons on Local Flavor, you can save some money and enjoy Danny's Pizza even better. read more

I love Danny's Pizza. Their burgers are delicious and their pizza is as well. I always get great service. I really like the atmosphere and the way its so laid-back. I also like going here to watch the Cubs games and Bears games when they are on. They have nice sized tvs. If it's nice outside, I enjoy sitting in their outdoor patio section. Their location is in the Bolingbrook Promenade mall so that's a plus as well. Today my server was Clorissa. She answered some questions we had about the corned beef cabbage pizza. Denny's is absolutely. Do you delicious? They're Macaroni and cheese is delicious, It is creamy and very cheesy. If you add pulled pork to the top of it, it makes it even better. Just came to Danny's today with my friend and our two 7 year old kids. We asked to be seated at an open high top near the window. It was a nice sunny day and we wanted to watch the people walking outside. The hostess told us she needed to check with her manager, because her manager doesn't like to seat kids at the tables near the window. After checking with her manager she offered us a booth, not the table that we had asked for. After sitting for a minute for the booth, we decided to leave since our perceived disrespect had left us with a bad taste in our mouths. read more

A friend and I were at the mall shopping around Christmas time and had a hard time deciding on where to dine - I'm so glad we stopped here! Our food, service and experience were absolutely fantastic - and I certainly wasn't expecting it at first. Our server was attentive and very helpful - he came around often, helping us decide what to order and answering all our questions. We both started with seasonal martinis which were a delicious treat. For dinner, I customized the Angry Bird. It was on special, which was a bonus for me! I really didn't prefer grilled chicken (go big or go home!) so asked if they could accommodate with fried chicken. They were happy to, and didn't even add in an upcharge. I'm not a HUGE sriracha fan so again - didn't expect to absolutely love the sandwich, but I did exactly that. It was the perfect balance of spice, cooled off by guacamole, mayo and cheese. I ordered a side of ranch for the tater tots and it incredible! I'm a ranch snob for sure - and this stuff was amazing.
