Great value, large portions. Nothing tremendous, just good food. My waitress was really nice and had a nice smile! She could probably teach a thing or two to people in the industry. Had the chicken picatta, nice tangy sauce with a good amount of capers. I asked for linguine instead of angel hair, cooked perfectly. Salad was quite large, could probably feed two people. Bread was ok.

First time here with the kids and it was a great experience. The food was good, service was on point, and the ambiance is great! Love the fact that they have basically the same menu in GF! I've never seen that before and can really appreciate that. Prices are decent considering portion sizes. Will be coming back for sure.

First the staff was beyond nice and friendly, our server Lacey was so friendly and an all around great server. The owner Paul came by the table ask how we were doing, talked a few minutes and was a really nice guy. We had pizza and lasagna. The pizza was nice and thin crust and crispy. The sauce and sausage were really good. The lasagna was really good as well, really big piece you get with soup or salad, we had mushroom barley soup again really good. And something so simple as garlic bread was one of the best garlic bread I've ever had. Inside is decorated really nice, they have a dining room, they have a separate room I think for parties and they also have a bar. It was nice and clean too. We will definitely be going back. We are not gluten free but I know ppl who are and they have a big gluten free menu!

Been driving by this place for 2 years and the parking lot is always packed. Decided to give it a try tonight and luckily we were seated with no issue at 6:00. Tuesdays is $20 chicken night and it includes soup or salad. Both of us went for the chicken and weren't disappointed, a solid choice with leftovers for tomorrow.

Nestled in the streets of Naperville this cute little place has good vibes. The ambiance is cozy yet vibrant, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or a romantic evening. This is a family owned business and the owners personally took care of the customers. Traverso's pizzas are a work of art, with thin, crispy crusts that perfectly complement the rich, flavorful toppings. Whether you're a fan of classic Margherita or adventurous enough to try their signature Traverso Special, each pie is crafted with care and attention to detail. But pizza isn't the only star of the menu. Traverso also offers a tantalizing selection of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes, each bursting with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. Don't miss their homemade tiramisu for dessert - it's the perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal. Service at Traverso is warm and attentive, with staff members who are passionate. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you'll feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. In summary, Traverso Pizzeria is a must-visit destination for any lover of Italian food. With its cozy atmosphere, mouthwatering menu, and exceptional service, it's sure to leave you craving more. Traversos's is an absolute must for pizza. From their original location in Orland Park to their current location in Naperville the pizza, the decor, the smell when you pick up your pizza in the cozy pick up room, still has that same great vibe thankfully! Traversos's has a storied history and a following that keeps this place packed always. Traversos's has that feeling of being welcomed and appreciated. The leather on the walls has a comfort to it that makes me feel like they know. They know Italian and they know pizza. Traversos's history continues today still being in the family. I have many memories of the original location especially the enormous and just as soft wall hanging in the lobby. Remember those big wood doors? How about those seemingly out of place steps not quite right outside the pickup room in the parking lot. They need to install those in the parking lot outside the pick up room in Naperville. Traversos's will be around for a long time. Next time you're picking up a pizza make sure to read the history of Traversos's proudly displayed in the pick up room and also attached with the pictures here. It will make you feel proud to support Traversos's. I've always been back and hope you do the same.

Cozy Neighborhood Restaurant in Naperville. We ordered grilled Salmon, Salad of Mixed Greens, and Gluten Free Chicken Tenders/Garlic Bread. This place has one of the largest selection of Gluten Free items in the area. The Gluten Free Fried Chicken is also popular here. They were also flexible with accommodating for various other food allergies. Restaurant was clean and food was fresh. Thank You

Service was great! Everyone was friendly and prompt and wanted to make sure we had a great meal. This is what we ordered: * Nonna's Meatballs * Pear & Fennel Salad (walnuts on the side) * Focaccia di Recco (requested with prosciutto & arugula) * Linguine alle vongole I also ordered an Almafi Spritz (zero proof) which was wonderful and bright a slice of Italy to Chicago's suburbia. The food was fresh and delicious. I recalled a Davanti location in Chicago but never had the chance to check it out, so this was my first time and it was great! The atmosphere is chic and the food was excellent, but not in a flashy, overdone, complicated way, just real good, made in house, hearty Italian fare. The Focaccia Di Recco was AMAZING. Yes, all caps. We packed up half of it to take home and it was still great the next day (reheated and then toasted in our mini counter oven/fryer). If you order just one thing here, let it be this focaccia dish. I understand why it's popular and I blurted out loud several times while eating this in restaurant: "on my god" it was truly divine. As my husband said, "this food might be better than what we had in Italy..." and I don't disagree. The kitchen does not do split portions for pasta but they were able to bring out 2 plates for us to split ourselves. This is a great spot for date night, a ladies night out, or a solo wine & dine at the bar. I can't believe I didn't come sooner. Plus, it's located right next to a parking garage which made our night out really convenient! We can't wait to come back! Five shining stars.

I've had some really great arancini before, and these were alright. The sauce was the highlight, with a nice flavor and a slight kick to it. We were told the pizzas were personal-sized, so everyone in our group ordered their own. When they arrived, they were huge. I went with the Fredo, a more traditional-style pizza, and it was pretty solid with good toppings and flavor. Others at the table ordered the Detroit-style pizzas, and they looked incredible, I wish I had taken some photos. The general consensus was that the pizzas were a bit too bready, but they had good flavor, great presentation, and a nice crispy crust. Service was okay. It took a while for our server to take our order, and I wish we had been advised to share a few pizzas instead of ordering individually. We all ended up taking most of our pizzas to go, but with dinners planned throughout the rest of the trip, they unfortunately didn't get eaten later. Overall, a decent spot with solid pizza and generous portions.

Its very hard to find spots that can accommodate our very particular palates, and even more hard to find good vegan options outside of the city. Thats why I was excited to find this lovely Italian restaurant. The parking lot is small but there's a good amount of sidestreet parking. The inside is warm, cozy and super clean (including the restrooms ). The hospitality stood out right away. The owners and wait staff were very welcoming, and our server was fantastic; honest (which I appreciate), knew the menu well, and once she realized our situation, gave us some wonderful direction on what to order. I wouldn't say that the menu is overwhelming, but I rarely go to a restaurant where it takes me that long to decide what I want. There are lots of interesting options, from braised short rib ravioli to baked ziti, and several tasty appetizers (highly recommend the calamari). But we had come for the PIZZA. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza. It was surprisingly bigger than we thought, and at a great price. The kid only ate half before she said, "I like it...this might be better than [insert famous Chicago pizza brand]." (you MUST KNOW that this is high praise from a 3rd grader). My wife ordered the "They Don't Have Beef With Me" vegan Detroit-style pizza, and I have to admit, it was very good. Somehow they pulled off a buttery (but not butter) crust with melty vegan cheese (but NOT cheese ). Absolutely nailed it. I would have eaten more of hers if I hadn't ordered the Butcher pizza from the wood-fired menu. It was OUTSTANDING. Great flavor, perfect texture. Easily one of thee best wood-fired pizzas I've ever had. We're not drinkers, but they do have a good wine list and some nice zero-proof options, including the Amber Apple and The Drip. We didn't make it to dessert, mostly because the portions are generous, so our bellies (and our to-go boxes) were full. We will definitely be back to try other menu options and for dessert. If your family or friend group includes picky palates or dietary restrictions (the pizzas can be made gluten-free as well), then run...don't walk...to Fiammé. 100/10 recommend.

Our server, Umberto, was attentive and pleasant and took good care of us; he was the best part of our evening. However, this is the first and last time I'll ever eat at Entourage. They promise "a dining experience" on their website, but I could get the same experience at your average Chili's or TGIFriday's without the pretense. Why do I say that? It's the noise...oh, the noise. There were a few tables with large parties, so it was pretty loud. Even leaning in closely, it was hard for my friend and me to hear each other talk. And the screaming kids were something else, emitting ear-piercing screams that get your attention, for all the wrong reasons. I didn't see any staff ask the large parties to keep it down or ask the parents to manage their children, which I guess I can understand. Large parties = more revenue than a two-top. But we did not - could not - linger after we ate our meals, or order coffee, dessert, and/or an after-dinner drink, because it was just too loud in there.

I had only ever been to the original location…read moreon Taylor, but we were in town visiting family a few weeks ago and when my DH saw they had Chicken Vesuvio (something I occasionally make at home) we decided to stroll over from our hotel so he could try it. It's a Chicago-Italian dish that you won't find anywhere else in the country unless it's a Chicago style Italian restaurant and, since DH isn't from Chicago, my version is the only one he's ever had. It totally lived up to his expectations. We started with the Italian sausage and peppers appetizer. It was a very generous and delicious portion, completely shareable or large enough for a meal. The fresh bread was perfect for mopping up the extra white wine and garlic sauce. After the appetizer, I wasn't as hungry as I was going in so I had to change my choice of entree. I kept it lighter and went with the "fish salad"- a mix of shrimp, octopus, calamari, scungilli, pepper strips, thinly sliced celery, a few olives, all tossed in a fresh lemony vinaigrette. I've been craving this dish ever since! Seafood is my favorite protein and I can usually eat a LOT of it, but this salad won that challenge. As much as I wanted to finish it, I couldn't. It looks smaller in the photo because the seafood was in large pieces, but it was a big dish. I'm already planning to get it again the next time we go to Naperville! Our bellies were very full and happy, but we had to skip dessert because of that. The desserts we observed at surrounding tables looked incredible and, again, very large, so you could probably share a piece of gorgeous cake between 2-4 people depending on how much room you have! We were told that the restaurant had been closed for a long while for remodeling and, although we can't compare it to its previous version, we found it to be very clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated. They even have a nice little patio out front, but we dined inside. Although I don't remember the name of the gentleman who served us, he provided exceptional service. He was helpful and knowledgeable with his suggestions, and he was very timely and attentive. We were never left waiting for anything we needed. Many Italian restaurants these days have moved towards offering more modern and innovative dishes, Rosebud has stuck to the classics and the execute them superbly! Can't wait to go back!
