Order was ready when I arrived. I ordered early on a Saturday evening and picked up around 7pm. The dining area has a few tables and place was empty at the time. It was clean inside. I parked out front on the street with no problem. I ate at the house. The Cheese Steak was a 5/5. It had chopped meat. I would order again.

Super solid cheesesteak. Chopped, tender meat, fried onions, melted cheese and a toasted seeded roll made this sandwich quite delicious. My buddy ordered extra cheese which is why it looks so loaded in the photo. Ordered to go and it was ready in minutes. Simple vibe inside, but did the trick. Worth a visit for a good cheesesteak.

Place definitely has a buzz surrounding it. People popped in and out during lunch for pickups. Place has tables inside to sit and eat and was not crowded. Food order came out quickly and was hot. Order a regular cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper cheese. Steak had decent flavor and can taste the salt and pepper on the onions. Meat was a little too chopped for my liking but not fatty or stringy. Ratio of meat to roll was pretty good. Seeded roll had a crispness and was not soggy. Overall solid sandwich. Street parking is a little scarce.

Solid takeout place with a nice selection of gyros, cheesesteaks, other sandwiches, and fries, including a decent amount of vegan and vegetarian options. My girlfriend and I got takeout on a Saturday night; she got the lamb gyro and I got a regular cheesesteak. World's best cheesesteak? Probably not. Wrapping it up tightly in foil and paper allows all of the juices and flavors to fraternize, more so than sticking it in a box container. But the cheesesteak I got was still very good with a perfectly soft and chewy roll and ample meat and cheese, though a tiny bit dry for my liking. My girlfriend really enjoyed her lamb gyro. We live close by so I'm sure we'll return in the future to try out other items on the menu!

Went specifically for their vegan, seitan cheesesteak and it did not disappoint! Adorable & spotlessly clean space with lovely counter staff and fast service. Especially appreciated that the cheesesteak wasn't wrapped in tin foil; in the to-go container, the bread remained soft and intact- no soggyness. Next time I'll add hot cherry peppers.

Came here after the eagles parade because it had great reviews and gluten free bread. While walking in, we were greeted with the person behind the counter asking us what we wanted before we were fully in the door. Seemed like we were being rushed and didn't let us get a grasp of what we wanted as it was our first time there. Also, I asked for hot peppers and fried onions and got mushrooms instead of hot peppers. The cheesesteak itself was pretty good. The steak and wiz was good but the bread was too soft. It made everything kind of feel like mush and didn't hold it together very well. On the plus, the gluten free bread given for my fiancé was very good and same size as a regular hoagie which isn't always the case. All in all, this place was pretty good but the service and bread let it down

I don't eat cheesesteaks, but I passed through Philly, so I had to rely on the comments of the people I bought them for. Each person said that they were packed full of meat, the bread was great, and the sandwiches were a hit. The storefront was clean and reminded me of the old Pizza Hut decorations. When in the area, I'll be back.

I finally pulled the trigger on this joint just the other day after driving it by so many times. After being mildly overwhelmed by the options on their menu board, did a quick Yelp review. Mostly positives which was reassuring. I decided to go with the ribeye cheese steak hoagie on an unseeded roll (seeds get stuck in the cuerpo). Though I took it to go, i Wanted to try it fresh off the griddle so I ate it at a park nearby. And it was in fact delicious! Nice soft bread....I didn't get fried onions like I'd asked but raw onions instead which was disappointing but no real big deal. Had to get some shrooms on there Overall a good sub. $15 good? Mmm...idk. $10, easy decision. I didn't get the fries bc when I asked if they had the skin on potato cut fries they said something along the lines of no..? So, I'd try it if you haven't. Heard good things about the vegetarian option meat and gf bread? I'd likely go back to try some different stuff.

This is the way to make a cheesesteak! Grew up in NJ/PA and now living in CA and it brought me back to my childhood and then some. The meat quality is so tender and no grissly meat. I had it with provolone & fried onions. The roll was so soft and had a nice chew to it and even though I had it to go it was still so great! Next time I am in town Dar's is where I am going!

Veggie Cheesesteak hoagie with Seitan crumbles.

Been going here for a long time to get the seitan cheesesteak hoagies with my husband after my nail appointment's. They use to be sooooooo good, to the point I've recommended friends and family who started frequenting there. The second to the last time we went they weren't as good as the previous time. Still things happen perhaps it was just an off day, maybe they were training someone new or whatever. We like them so much we still were willing to try again. We ended up going this Saturday and the sandwiches were terrible. The seitan actually tasted different and it was a lot lighter in color than normal. There are other places we get food from that use different types of seitan one being a kind of chicken tasting one, where others may use one that tastes more like beef. Usually the ones here taste beefy but this time it tasted and looked more like the chicken one. So much so we called to inquire. They claim it's the same product they've been using for years. Personally I don't believe it. I don't know if they switched or if they get it from a vendor who switched it but the seitan cheesesteak just does not taste the same as it use too. We were extremely disappointed on top of the fact that they also weren't made how we asked. Real bummer.

Nothing special. For almost $17 a steak I want it to be meaty, cheesey and the roll not to be stale. I ordered 4 cheesesteaks for $76 . Ordered a steak with fried onions and they forgot the onions on it along with the Bleu cheese I order for the buffalo steak. Their buffalo sauce is a bit sweet which threw me off but I did like that they chopped the chicken breast up well. This is not a walk in spot. You go up to the first window and they take your order ,then give your order at the second window. They should put a bell at the order window so the workers know people are outside. The gentleman at the window was nice but every time the windows opened and closed it didn't smell like steak and onions as much as it smelled like weed. Would I go back, no. The best cheesesteak in the area is still Goldbergers in Haddonfield, NJ. Always try restaurants for yourself. Maybe your experience will be better.

Ordering ahead of time was easy, and my food was hot and ready when I arrived, which I appreciated. However, the parking is a bit of a problem, since the storefront is tucked into a narrow alley off Route 70, and there were a couple of close calls with cars while I was pulling in. The cheesesteak hoagie was $20, and sad to say, other nearby spots are putting out a better sandwich at that price point. The bread was not toasted much and the sandwich just was not as full as I expected. The meat itself was not bad, but it missed the mark on flavor. I also grabbed a danish off the counter as a last minute treat, and it did not taste anything like it looked, with a very bland flavor and almost no sweetness, more like a plain piece of bread. Overall, I would pass on this spot, especially with stronger cheesesteak competitors in the area offering better sandwiches and a more satisfying experience.

Claims that reached me all the way in Baltimore. They said it's a cheesesteak worth traveling for and lucky me, my good friend lives nearby and was down for a lunch meetup. Her words, at my suggestion to meet up at Chick's, were "Definitely, that place is amazing but... How'd you hear about it?!" They clearly do tons of pick up orders and stay busy despite being an off peak time. It took a while to figure out if I was standing in the right spot. (This is another good sign) The chicken noodle soup was amazing. My toddler loved the torpedo. My cheesesteak with fried onions and cooper sharp was everything that I wanted it to be.

I've dined at a place back home and although it tasted pretty good it fell into the latter of these statements above. Dalessandro's , though, changed my mind. Even the most humblest of a Philly Cheesesteak could be awarded such an award. There is nothing bougie/pretentious/overpriced about this establishment, it's staff and/or it's food. I sat there a couple bites in pondering what else I should try next time on my visit. I had the Philly Cheeseteak with sweet peppers with white American on a seeded roll. I had a philly cheese steak at a separate location prior to here, and although it was great, Dalessandros had the right balance of meat to bread to dollar ratio. I was full but content. They were pretty efficient at getting everyone through the line, though, and the service was kind. We got the cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp and fried onions, plus long hots on the side. The bread is the star here. It's made with sourdough, so the outside has a nice crunch while the inside stays soft, and the sesame seeds add even more texture and flavor. The cheesesteak itself was pretty standard but done really well. It was super creamy, and I loved that the onions weren't soggy. Honestly, this was the best Philly cheesesteak I've ever had. 8.5/10.
