Delicious! I had my first panzarotti here the other day! I've been hearing about panzarotti for years from my husband and I finally got to try one! It was so good. It's hard to describe, but basically imagine a fried pizza pocket. We got a cheese panzarotti. Crispy, tasty, and ooey gooey melty cheesy goodness on the inside. We also had cheese pizza. Amazing. We shared a cheesesteak and it was delicious too. A regular there told us they have the best cheesesteaks in town here. I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I thought it was delicious. My husband agreed. Their menu is extensive and they have daily specials. If I lived here I'd definitely be here often. They also have a catering menu. Gaetano's is easily my South Jersey cheesesteak delivery go-to. They are on most of the delivery services, but its equally as easy to call them directly for orders. They have a variety of size options for each sandwich. I tend to go the larger route in order to have leftovers. Their food stays good for days! Their menu has a variety of steak/sandwich options, I usually go traditional with beef, American cheese, pepper and onion. There are so many varieties. The beef is more of the thinly chopped pieces and the steak sandwiches are proportional. On one occasion, there was an error with my delivery, which they promptly corrected. I've had a chicken Caesar wrap, which was tasty. I should explore the menu more. It's nice to have a good cheesesteak without having to cross the river, or even leave my house. read more

Through thick and thin, this place has survived while other restaurants and stores around it has crumbled and fallen apart. I ordered the $16 LARGE cheesesteak, and it will literally feed at least 3 hungry people. Be prepared for the massive mound of cheesy meat (they do give you choices for what kind of cheese you want). I got the garlic bread cheesesteak. This was amazing garlic bread. Big, wide, semi-bready sesame seed roll turned into garlic heaven with a pretty good cheesesteak on top. The Cheesesteak was good. A decent amount of meat. Good size pieces of fried onion which could have spent a minute or two longer on the grill. A very good cheese melt but maybe needed a slicer or 2 more of cheese. The garlic bread was Heaven and I got a garlic bread cheesesteak. I can only wonder what the other 16 cheese steak options look like. I love this place! I have always adored their turkey hoagies. The bread is fresh and soft, the turkey fresh, and the condiments well-proportioned on the hoagie. What I learned on my last visit is their chicken cheesesteaks are terrific and they have great pizza! I grew up in NYC and always felt that I knew pizza better than most, but the slice I had could hold up against any NYC pizza. Good consistency, cheese and sauce not runny and well-balanced, and just the right amount of grease to top off the experience. The ambiance is minimal but just fine. The restaurant is located in a small shopping plaza on Route 70 just before it merges into Admiral Wilson Blvd. You have to keep your eyes open to spot it but it is great for a quick dinner on the way home from work or a fast meal at any other time of day. read more

The only thing you can get here are the cheese steaks and chicken cheese steaks. I got pizza, it was thick crusted (which I do not like) and I bought jalapeño poppers and they were not cooked all the way and the breading was falling off almost completely. My partner ordered garlic bread and it was the roll they use for their sandwiches with butter and seasoning. All Gaetano's are not created equal... but you are in luck cause this one is bomb! I like to look on the bright side of things so while this isn't the one that delivers to me they are a hop skip and a jump away. Not much of an indoor presents but what you are about to dig into if you are anything like me you want to rip apart in the privacy of your own home... their cheesesteaks are top notch... I mean whoever idea it was to put it on garlic bread, I want to personally thank you because YUM! I just left Philly and was heading to N.J. I was driving and thinking I should've gotten a cheesesteak while in Philly. I found this place on yelp and stopped in. The place is your typical old school N.J. pizza place, but the cheesesteaks are amazing. They are huge! The 17" easily is enough for 2 . The bread is what makes them exceptionally good. After two awful experiences I will never order food from here again. I ordered wings and fries in May. When the order arrived, it smelled good. However, the garlic wings were under cooked. I took the wings home and cooked them longer and I also had to add garlic to them. Yesterday, I ordered a "meal" a Jersey Chicken Cheese Steak which came with fries and a can of soda. I also ordered a 5 piece garlic wings.. BAD decision again. When my lunch order arrived; I discovered a beef cheese steak and an order of under cooked wings in an oily "garlic: sauce. I don't eat beef. When I called to complaint; the person who took the order was very apologetic and told me the cook was "NEW". How does anyone not know the difference between CHICKEN AND BEEF? Anyway, she offered to have a freshly made sandwich sent to me in another 45 minutes. It was already 1:46 pm by the time my lunch was delivered. Another 45 minutes was totally unacceptable. I asked to speak to the manager; I was told that the manager was at an MRI and that the person on the phone, Iesha, according to the name on the receipt was the assistant manager. I requested a refund of the $14.81 and she told me it would be processed in 7 days. I asked her if when the driver would be coming back to pick up the food. I was told to, "Just throw it away." Can Gaetano's in Maple Shade really afford to lose money and food? WOULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN SO MUCH BETTER TO GET THE ORDER RIGHT THE FIRST TIME?? Probably the best Italian delivery to Collingswood, This place runs a steady four stars but always falls a bit short of that fifth. The cheese steaks are, as noted by previous reviewers, huge. Mini is like 10", and that's a good 10" long with a 4-5" diameter, so very filling even for a big eater like me. It should be noted that these rolls are Amoroso, and, as an extra bonus, are the sesame seed steak rolls. Among aficionados such as myself, truly the Holy Grail of sandwich rolls. (Yes, their hoagies come on these as well!). Personal favorites include the Mr. Gee's Cheese steak, a bountiful compilation including green peppers, onions, pepperoni, and of course mounds of steak. I get mine on garlic bread (you have to ask for it) and with marinara sauce. It comes with a small complimentary defibrillator. Yum! To go through the menu would take hours, but I've yet to have anything disappointing. Personally, I dislike wraps intensely as the flour tortillas stick to the roof of my mouth like peanut butter, but the Taco Salad Wrap here makes a little palate scraping well worthwhile. Yum! Mozzarella sticks are also a pleasant surprise, as they are the large 1"x4" version versus spindly little fingers that turn out hollow when over fried. Chicken fingers also come with a great creamy honey mustard sauce. So why not five stars? Slow delivery because of the popularity of the place (sometimes up to an hour) and some knocks on the pizza. Now, understand that the pizza is the best around that delivers to Collingswood (at least, the best I've had) and they're great if you like extra cheese. I don't. I like extra sauce, pepperoni, and fresh garlic. Stop cringing, the garlic's good for my heart and my cats don't complain. They don't offer fresh garlic as a topping and extra sauce consists of one and a half ladles of sauce versus one ladle. TJ's in voorhees used to actually have little dollops of sauce on each slice, fantastic for those who love a good tomato gravy! The wings leave a bit to be desired as well. Usually well to jerky in texture, with sauce poured over them before deliver. Not breaded at least. Poppers are cheddar versus cream cheese. So in closing; steaks and hoagies are great, club sandwiches are tops, wraps are very good, and specialty pizzas, including the tomato pie, are delish. Be prepared for the occasional clinker item and 45-60 minute delivery and you're good to go! read more

But they are delicious (in that bad american food kind of way!) and I secretly look forward to eating one every year when we visit relatives here and then eating nothing but salad for two weeks after. I have tried to finish the large-and came close, but been in serious gastric pain for hours afterwards. Split the large with a buddy and you'll be much happier. The panzarottis are off the wall, the hot roast beef sandwiches with au jus are incredible, and the cheesesteaks are killer. I had a buffalo chicken cheese steak before, and the way they mix up the chopped chicken breast and thoroughly incorporate it with the buffalo sauce and cheese is just on point. Was CRAVING some fried food as a snack and ended up calling Gaetanos per my friends advice at ~930PM on a week night. I was upset to find out that they were no longer delivering but was delighted when they said my order (poppers and cheesy garlic bread) would be ready in 5 minutes. I immediately left the house and drove over and by the time I got there the food was ready. Love it! When I got home I noticed that the poppers were cheddar and not cream cheese - I wish the menu would have specified this but they were still good. I just happen to prefer the cream cheese variety. The garlic bread was HUGE- about 4x the portion of what I was expecting! I was wondering why they put it in a PIZZA box! the cheese stuck to the aluminum foil and didn't stay on the garlic bread....Gaetano's could have arranged the garlic bread in the box to prevent this from happening.... The poppers & garlic bread weren't anything super special. My coworkers keep raving about this place though, so Ill definitely be back to try a sandwich or pizza sometime soon. read more

I would first like to say that whenever I order food delivery, I order from this place (most of the time). My main reason is convenience. I live 0.9 miles away, which is only a 2-minute drive. Prior to this rating, I would have rated them 4 stars. But lately, their delivery service has been ridiculously slow and today will be the last time I order from this place. Today, I ordered a Stromboli, a chicken wrap, and a side of Fries. We were told that it would take less than 45 minutes. I've been a delivery guy myself years ago, so I know that's a standard statement. After waiting 45 minutes, our order hasn't yet arrived. At the 1 hour mark, I decided to call them to follow up on our order. They told me that they were 1 delivery guy short and it would be another 20 minutes. I could have walked there and back, and I could have gotten my food quicker than their delivery service!!! They just kept apologizing but that wasn't fixing the issue. So they said they would credit me for the fries. Finally my food arrives and I noticed I didn't get a credit. The delivery guy said credits are normally issued for your next order. This is NOT okay. A well managed business would have communicated from the beginning that their delivery service is behind schedule. Secondly, if you offer a customer a credit as a result of poor delivery service, you better make sure you share all the necessary information so the customer doesn't get blind sided when they don't see the credit. read more
