For as many time as we travel to Flagstaff, this was our first time at DSB! Came for their Tapp'd Trivia and enjoyed both the beer and trivia. Would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Flagstaff as I'm sure any local has been

Absolutely adore the vibe of this place. They play punk music and have cool merch. I could definitely see myself as a regular if I lived here. There is a great outdoor seating area with heat lamps plus the indoor area. Visited in late March and it felt wonderful outside. Got a flight of five different beers but you can get up to eight in a flight. My favorite was the XXX Bronze. Heads up, do not rely on the website to see what's currently on tap because it is not updated frequently. Guess all four beers I wanted to try were popular as they were out and unavailable when I visited.

Just tap the gold stout!

Dark Sky Brewing is an awesome spot with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your time. The space is welcoming and laid-back, whether you're stopping in for a casual visit or meeting up with friends. It has a comfortable, inviting vibe that works well for both locals and first-time visitors. The beer selection is amazing, with a wide variety of well-crafted styles that clearly show the care put into their brewing. Everything we tried was flavorful and fresh. The food is just as impressive--delicious, well-prepared, and a perfect match for the drinks, making the overall experience even better. One thing to note is that during peak hours, especially if you're with a larger group, the wait can be a bit long. That said, the quality of the food, drinks, and atmosphere makes it well worth it. Overall, Dark Sky Brewing delivers great vibes, amazing beer, and excellent food, and it's a place we're always happy to recommend and return to when back in the area.

Quirky bar in downtown Flagstaff featuring their brew beer, cocktails, cider and more. Plus the bar offers a selection of food . Bar is unique as it keeps with the theme of dark skies with the decor inside and outside if brewery. The brewery even sells some of their art. The staff were kind and patient with us, as we tried some of their beers for our first time. Staff also tended to me in finding a non beer drink. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Brewery features an extensive patio outside. And large tables inside for groups. Cheers!

While celebrating a friend's graduation, our group landed at Dark Sky Brewing. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a series of missteps that left us wondering if the brewery was having an off day. It seemed like a comedy of errors, as almost every member of our party received the wrong item or incorrect size of their order. Side salads arrived instead of full ones, meat tacos were mistakenly brought out for our vegan friends, and servers presented us with unordered dishes, leaving us bewildered. The mistakes were frequent enough to raise eyebrows, especially considering the brewery wasn't that crowded. However, it's worth noting that the staff at Dark Sky Brewing took ownership of the errors and promptly corrected them, ensuring that we ultimately received our correct orders. Although this was appreciated, it was disheartening to see the amount of food wasted due to the mistakes. On a more positive note, the atmosphere at Dark Sky Brewing was nice. The layout and aesthetic of the brewery were modern and inviting, with a clear emphasis on creating a fun, community-driven space. I appreciated the variety of events and activities offered, such as trivia nights on Thursdays and live DJ sets on select evenings, which added to the brewery's lively vibe. Despite the mishaps, I'm willing to give Dark Sky Brewing another chance. The potential for a great experience is evident, and I'm hopeful that our visit was simply an anomaly. With a bit more attention to detail and quality control, this Flagstaff staple could truly shine. If you're in the area, I'd recommend stopping by, but perhaps double-checking your order to ensure everything is as it should be.

Will always be our favorite place to come after snowboarding! The nachos with carne asada were super good, as well as the cheese curds. For beer, the current selection was lots of IPAs so I went with the unicorn spritz. Super good! Also love all the gluten free options! We will be back.

We love Dark Sky! It's our favorite brewery in Flagstaff. We like the OG brewery side that has Pizzicletta. Dark Sky and Pizzicletta run separately so you have two seperate bills. They have a newer side of Dark Sky, called the "Atmosphere Kitchen" that serves bar food and a beer garden that is 21 and older and also pet friendly. We've never eaten on that side because we love the pizza from Pizzicletta. I always get the Fungi pizza, the flavors are outstanding! My husband loves the Diavola pizza, which means devil in Italian. The pizza is a spicy Italian. The beer selection at Dark Sky is great! The whole place has a cool, laid back energy. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely a brewery to visit!

The ambiance was good ! We appreciated that they were dog friendly and had heat lamps on their patio. Definitely chill vibes and nice people working. My problem was this, I ordered tacos and they came out as nachos, and then it took them upwards of 20 minutes to send out the tacos, and when they finally came out, they were cold and the meat was very chewy to the point where I couldn't even enjoy my meal. Very disappointing, and left hungry even though I paid almost $40 for a meal and drink.

Great lil spot. We stopped for lunch. Jess helped us at the counter and was awesome . Ben brought out our beer and food and was amazing as well. I had the IPA and my wife had the golden ale. OK maybe a few. My wife ordered the Korean chicken sandwich and I had the nachos with carnitas. Both dishes were terrific. The ambiance is upbeat and hip and the service, food and vibe stellar. Highly recommended

Dark Sky Brewing is everything you want in a Flagstaff spot--laid-back, full of character, and actually cool without trying too hard. It's pet-friendly, which is always a win, and the atmosphere is packed with awesome artwork and personality that makes you want to hang out awhile. The salt and vinegar cheese curds are unreal--crispy, tangy, addictive, and honestly worth the visit alone. The beer lineup is solid, and the service was great: friendly, welcoming, and on top of things without being overbearing. This place has soul. Great food, great people, great art, and that unmistakable mountain-town energy. Dark Sky Brewing is a must-stop in Flagstaff.

Let me start by saying the staff is amazing and really cares about the people and dogs that come to visit. We came for lunch with our dog and had some beers. The beer was phenomenal and well worth it. The food was fantastic and I would definitely come again. I had the flannel buddies and the Astro cookie stout delicious beer and go a Noggy to go. We had the fish and chips and the Carne Asada Nachos. This place has such a cool vibe and I will definitely come again when I'm in town.

Loved visiting this place when in Flagstaff this week - I ordered the Bees Knees pizza, a friend got the Funghi, and two others got pepperoni. We also had the olives - everything was so good!! Service was fast and friendly, had a couple of beers which are actually served by a separate person and billed separately. Inside is nice but the outdoor patio is great! Definitely recommend

Come here for the vibes!! The patio is 21+ and dog friendly, with great beer! The food is solid but very expected bar food.

Really cool place, but ended up paying $41 for a very average sandwich and beer. Lots of better options around town

Second time here, very limited beer and food. Pizza burnt, was told it was that way because it's wood fire. It's ok. But won't be back.

Ask the Community - Dark Sky Brewing

Teen friendly after 8pm?

I believe the restaurant portion is kid and teen friendly for food. Of course no alcohol or bar seating. Great food!

Gluten free options?

Yes! Our Beer Garden offers gluten free food options as well as gluten reduced beer, cocktails, wine, and cider.

Are there TVs to watch games?

There is a TV over the bar where you order. Not a great location, hard to see from where you sit. I'd go elsewhere to watch a game.

Do they do take out?

It's a brewery so get a Crowler or Growler and enjoy!

Are dogs allowed inside, or is there an outside patio?

There's an outside dog-friendly patio.

We lucked out with some gorgeous weather a few weeks back, so dining on the patio was very enjoyable, particularly with the cozy string lights on overhead. It was super packed, but some of the couples ahead of us rejected the tiny bar counter and stools at the end of the smaller patio; since those seats didn't bother us we were seated immediately! I don't remember the name of our waitress, but she was very friendly. She immediately brought us a water carafe and two glasses. She was back in under 5 minutes to take our order and our food came out super fast. We began with the Mixed Greens Salad with Chevre & Pine Nuts. The portion was generous and the salad was absolutely delicious. They let the flavor of the chevre & pine nuts really shine through by adding a very light olive oil based dressing. We then shared our favorite pizza, the Diavola, which was delicious as always. Their pizza crust is some of the best in the western U.S. I love the convenience of enjoying Pizzicletta at Dark Sky, but I think we'll be coming to this location from now on. We loved the ambiance and slightly expanded menu offered here. Plus, grabbing drinks two doors down at Mother Road before/after is an added bonus!

Tables, booths, and counter seating facing out large window. Closed-captains TVs with sports playing. We decided what to order by looking at the large menu spanning the counter base. We finished the basket pretty much. Not as good as Knock Kneed Lobster Fried Zucchini but good - 10-piece Spicy Traditional Wings with ranch and blue cheese. First time hubs had wings since surgery. He said they were good. Came with carrot sticks - Large 1/2 Gary's Special 1/2 Pesto Chicken Pizza - Good crispy and airy crust.
