Good beer, not great food, kind of pricey. I tried two of their IPAs; a Hazy and a West Coast. Both were cold and exceptional. I also tried the Sandwich of the month, which was not so great. The Sandwich was an "Arizona Cheesesteak." Cheese wasnt completely melted and looked and tasted like package cheese. Meat was overcooked on one side, bun was run of the mill grocery store hoagie roll. It had a lot of heat, which I'm normally a fan of, but there was no balance, all heat. Needed something else, acid, cream, something. Didnt help that the salad that it came with was also really high on the heat factor. Hot mouth equalled need to get the second beer, maybe that's the idea. A sandwich and one beer was 30 bucks before tip, and would have been Ok if the food was of the same quality as the beer. For service, you order at the bar, are given a number and the waiter brings the order to you. Standard tipping option available at the register. Obviously tipping is ip to you, but I'm probably right in assuming that the waitstaff rely on their tips, so I gave the standard 20%, but I'm not a fan of the format. You pay the Full 20% tip with half the service- have to wait in line at the bar with everyone else trying to get a beer rather than having a waiter take your order while you sit and enjoy your beer. We stop in here every time we are in Flagstaff. The pizza is delicious! Our kids love a simple cheese and my husband and I like to get the Bee's Knees. We love to each get a pint of the Westie IPA, too. Being from out of town, we also get some to go as well! Love that we can take some home with us. The service is always friendly and super helpful. A Flagstaff favorite of ours just got better with their new kitchen, interior expansion, and dog friendly patio addition! Stephanie and Stewart were both welcoming and helpful. Stephanie got us settled around a fire pit and informed us that we order inside. We had a flight of their brews: Flannel Buddies, Astro Cookie, Snow Fever, and Still Smokin. Astro Cookie was my favorite! If you made a chocolate beer cookie, that's what it would taste like. Smooth and delicious. For food, we had the Duck Leg Confit Cassoulet, Pierre's Beef Skewers, Chopped Cheese Burger, and a beef hotdog with everything - a special. The special was the best, so much going on. Great spot! This brewery was walking distance from our hotel. Super laid back vibes with lots of different beers on tap. I ordered the only hazy they have and enjoyed it, as did my boyfriend. Service was good and they were accommodating for our family (including my 2 year old!) Pizzicleta, a pizza joint, has a space in the brewery. Dark Sky looks like it could be a cool place, but there are some issues that didn't seem to work well. Placing an order at the counter was very time consuming and not intuitive at all. After ordering you have to walk down to the other end of the counter and wait for someone to pour your drinks. People are standing around waiting for their drinks without any sense of organization. There were two people in line ahead of me and it took at least 15 minutes to finally order and get my drinks. That's a fail. Also, the list of beers on tap on the wall menu, their prices, and drink size was hard to decipher; I didn't know what I was actually getting until I had it in hand. Once I had my drink the place seemed like an easy and pleasant kick-back place. The beer was okay but nothing special. My favorite beer was the Corpse Awakening and with reason this beer is named liked that haha. This 16 month resting in Blis Maple Syrup barrels and Templeton Rye Whiskey barrels Imperial Stout with added coconut and ground control litchfield barrel aged coffee will definitely lift your spirits! This was our first visit and it was number two rated on Yelp so we wanted to give it a try. The beer was good but atmosphere was not our vibe. Staff was friendly for sure but it's odd how you have two servers one for beer and k e for pizza which is your only option for food. The line was crazy so we thought this place would be the winner. Pizza was very good but the experience just wasn't our vibe. We felt super rushed place was packed just trying to churn though as many folks as possible, super hard for the very friendly staff to keep up. There are other places we'd try next visit. We sat outside - their patio is great and also dog friendly! There was a band on Saturday afternoon - I found it to be a little loud, but we were seated right next to them, so YMMV. We didn't eat here - reading other reviews, maybe we should have! We started with two pints - S'mores and Sodium Street Lights. I loved the S'mores and though the Street Lights was OK. We next had a different pint and a sampler; cannot remember which they were as Larry ordered them and TBH, I did not like either one at all. If I returned, I probably would try more samples to get a better idea of what their beer is all about, but we were in Flagstaff for a short time and had other locations to check out. read more

We were at the farmers market and walked by this place and decided to try it. It has many pops of color, funky vibe, and skeleton and alien decor throughout. The servers were friendly and the bar has open seating and you order at the bar to place food and drink orders. There is also paid parking across the street from the restaurant. The food was great and we ordered a few different items. My husband ordered two beers and we had pretzels, salt & vinegar cheese curds (which were amazing and gf!), Caesar salad which had crispy potatoes as the croutons, and we also had the Buffalo chicken nuggets which weren't our favorite since it is more of a meatball texture. We also ordered the fried ice cream which was delicious and the donuts which were okay - had a bitter after taste since it's made with beer. They have a ton of gluten free options as well. Beer was good and service/staff was friendly. However, the whole pizzacleta/beer garden/taproom is confusing to anyone and everyone walking by or wanting to stop in, including ourselves. They market the taproom/beergarden/pizzacleta together but you can't eat the pizza in the beer garden because of "policy"? So if you want pizza you have to go to the pizzacleta place that is actually called Dark Sky Brewing and more of a restaurant. But there's also a kitchen at the Dark Sky Brewing Beer Garden with a completely different menu. Still following? So if you want food from both? You can't Again the staff was really nice about it, and even agreed it's really confusing. We liked the vibes of the Beer Garden better and with the dog it was nice to relax outside. We are in town for the weekend and my physical therapist back in Chandler recommended this spot, so we stopped for lunch as soon as we arrived in town. Huge patio, lots of different tables and seating, and it's dog friendly!! There's also seating inside and at the bar, but the patio is where it's at! Place your order inside at the bar and take a number to your table and food will be delivered. We ordered the salt and vinegar cheese curds and they came out pretty quickly. There were plenty in the basket to share, but I could have eaten the whole thing myself it was so good. Love that it's GF and the curds were crispy while the center was gooey! Ranch dipping sauce was the icing on the cake. Perfect little app. Hubby ordered the chopped cheeseburger and the Creekside Comfort (blonde ale). The burger was huge and clearly house-made as it was falling apart. It's definitely a "eat with a fork and knife" type of burger! Loved that the bun was actually 4 small Hawaiian buns!! That's a melt in your mouth combo between the buns and burger. He said the secret sauce overpowered the burger a bit (he just wanted tontaste the fresh burger more than the sauce), but he enjoyed every last bite! He was also pleasantly surprised by the greens being served rather than typical fries (note, it clearly says this on the menu, but he was too hungry and just saw burger and picked it without reading anything else!) I got the avocado melt SOS. The dressing on the greens was light but also had a hint of salt which balanced out the roughage. The avocado toast was one slice but filling enough. The melted (and crisp) cheese was the best part! I'm not a pickles on your sandwich type of girl, but I liked how the pickles were minced and almost relish like. It gave a nice pop to the rest of the toast. It could have had more avocado, but I still enjoyed it. Bathrooms are super clean and all gender, but there are only 2, so I imagine the wait can get long when the place is packed at night. So beware when you break the seal! So glad we got the recommendation to come here, and we will totally stop by again next time we're in town! read more

Serious, WTF are you previous reviewers who commented on the pizza saying here. It's not a pizza place. You cannot get pizza here. The website is confusing, but we assumed going to tap room we could get pizza. You cannot. You must go next door and get your own pizza. And no, you cannot take the beer with you if you simply want to go get pizza. Weird set up and super confusing. Now, bar? It's ok. Waiting in line to get a beer was different, but it worked out. You just feel a little rushed to order at a place you are unfamiliar with. Once we got to counter, our bar tender was awesome. Good recommendations. Definitely caters to locals, but that's ok.
