Fun family place. Good food. Dark parking lot but usually has a police presence. Indoor flies were on my nerves but other than that perfect.

The staff is so unfriendly here. Half the machines don't even work and just take your points. I had to exchange my card 3 times because it wouldn't scan on any of the machines. The staff at the prize counter was especially rude, like we were an inconvenience because we wanted to get prizes. The girl literally 'huffed' at us when we went up to the counter. 75 dollars and a glitchy VR experience make D&B not a fun place to visit. I remember about 2 years ago when the games were in the 4 credit range. Now the games only last less than 2mins but cost around 9 credits. Getting small kids to waste money on getting tickets to receive a prize is insane. You need to pay $20 for a pencil. Out of 6 games played 2 were semi-broken and the VR machine had major glitches. Remember the VR you had to pay an extra $6 per person. I ask my 2 sons after an hour did they have a good time. They told me playing PlayStation felt better. I know some business models are just about the money and D&B has shown me this is not a place for family fun it's an extremely big coin machine. If I had a time machine trust I would have gotten my $75 dollars back. No repeats for this family. read more

Dave and Busters is what you expect it to be in regards to food and atmosphere. Service was terrible. We did have a group, which was about 8 people. After asking for our check probably 10 different times and waiting over 45 minutes, I finally left some money with the rest of my group because I needed to drive 4 hours to get home. If I had not been part of a group, I would have walked out and not felt bad at all. Our server was MIA for probably an hour, so I'm not sure if he was new. AVOID THIS PLACE!!! We ordered 2 drinks at the bar. Service was super slow as the bartenders were playing around with other sustainers and workers. We asked ofr our check and paid with a card. He said thank you and didn't give us a receipt to sign. My bOyfriend asked for the receipt and he said they got a new machine and it was his first day working with it. AftER about 5 minutes of waiting, he comes over with the receipt with a tip added and a signature that we clearly didn't sign. The dude claim it was the new system. I just don't understand how this establishment has months worth of reviews and the business has not put in any effort to change. Tonight I came in with my friends strictly for food. Our waiter was extremely nice but we could already tell the wait was going to be trash because of the amount of staff and people there at the time. Kudos to him for all of the pressure he was under, I know being a waiter is NOT an easy job. I ordered wings and a grape slush. Both piss poor. I even complained about it to my waiter. The food was like warm, and the chicken was soggy. My drink , let's just say it was a juice and not slush. The bathrooms, gross. The floor was sticky, the water pressure for the faucets were super low (literally a drip) and the paper towels were almost non existent in the family bathroom because I couldn't get a hold of it. This business has so much potential to thrive due to the area it's in but the negative feedback after my experience make me not even want to return. I'm not sure if there's a flaw in management or if the employees are half assing their work but I was a little disappointed. Now .. if only I could give no stars! Arrived to this location around 3:00pm on a Sunday. Normal size crowd but not outrageously busy. Came with a party of 10. Half the party remained at the table since the children were anxious to play the games. After a few minutes, we were greeted and drink orders were taken. 10..15 and 45 minutes later .. no drinks. When I tell you there was PLENTY of waiters.. there was an over flow. Along with a few gentlemen wearing collared shirts to distinguish themselves as so called "managers". Our waiter had two large tables on either side of the restaurant . Obviously overwhelmed while other servers stand around talking. Now I've been in the food industry for many years. I have an extensive background in kitchen managing as well as dinning room managing. There is absolutely no reason to have a staff that large with a wait that long at this type of establishment. This isn't a scratch kitchen and the menu cross utilizes many items which cuts the prep/cooking time in half. Half of the food comes pre-made. The service was unacceptable. 1 1/2 hours and the food was coming plate by plate, not all together as it should. After speaking to a manager, he simply said "I'm sorry Ms. Lady" and walked away. There was no explanation or attempt to make the situation better. No compensation or even a real apology. We were visited by 2 so called managers and they both failed to do anything to accommodate. On October 5, 2024, I made a reservation for 6:30pm for my nephew birthday Celebration. First, the host told us that the server gave our table away. so we waited a whole 30 mins to be seated but the catch was that we was seated in the corner away from everyone else like where no server was at. So when we arrive to the table, the table was not set up and there was nothing on the table. When you usually go to a restaurant you usually see the menu, plates, and utensil.But literally nothing. Another 20 mins past and a server finally came over and we placed our drinks but she didn't offer us no water or anything while we wait. The drink toke another 30 min to even come with no water or anything on the table.The service sucked. when I talked to the manager, she didn't even offer us a discount for the bad service. Whatever you do pick another Dave & Busters!! This definitely not the one! Bought my niece here, to kill some time and grab a bite to eat. The facility itself was clean and most games was available to play. The problem arises from the food. We ordered 2 wings(Buffalo/plain) a kids pizza and nachos. The wings was dry as hell, looked like they were cooked in the microwave! They didn't taste any better! The nachos were also dry, fries were cold, pizza was cold! The manager on duty was very argumentative when I asked him for additional sauce for the Buffalo wings, that appeared to be just as dry as the plain wings. Save your time. Came in and ordered to go. I got the sirloin with mashed potatoes and green beans, pretzel bites, and fries. Food was EXCELLENT! I came in contact with about 5 employees, all of which were extremely polite! Hence the reason for my review! The only reason I took away a star is because I felt the girl at the front desk didn't seem trained well enough to be on her own, as she had to call for help or stop other employees walking by with what seemed like every customer. This Dave & Buster's location is a busy site. All of the games were being utilized by customers. There are more than enough electronic games for patrons to interact with. The food service was excellent. I ordered a half rack of ribs, and was satisfied with my dining experience. I overheard a complaint regarding the bar service. As the first quarter of the football game I am watching is coming to a close, I still do not have the beer I ordered before the game started. Sooo I know I will get the serious side eye for giving 5 stars to this place but seriously I am always happy when I am here. One reason could be because I don't come at night. I usually come mid-early afternoon. My food has always been good (minor issues yes like they forgot to put my dressing on the side today but I'm starving and the salad was still delicious) and then there's the one time we boxed our leftovers up and someone threw them away but even then the waitress felt so bad she had them remake everything (even my drink ) so we went home with bags of food. Stuff like that to me is keeping the customer happy and the staff is always friendly. We always get coupons by email and even get some great Groupons to use as well. Winning! This is a great spot for my son and I to have a mom/son day too. Never had an issue with the table being dirty but maybe because we arrive so early they have not even been used yet. I wish two things.. 1) I had read the reviews before going here 2) there was the ability to give zero stars! This was one of the worst customer services fails I have experienced in a while. Brought my 12 year old here for games and dinner which is supposed to be their expertise! Epic failure! I have been to several D&Bs and this one sets the franchise back! I will get straight into my main problem. I came in and played games and then went to get a table for two. The hostess took my phone number and informed me I would get a text to confirm my number and then a second text when my table was ready. Looking around I saw that there was about 6 empty tables. Some of them hadn't been bused yet. Ok I get my first text. It was a Sunday night and a little busier than I would expect for a Sunday but hey, business is business. Over hour passed before I got the second text. By this time, I went across the street to another restaurant, was seated and actually got my food by the time I got the second text. Wheeeeee chile the f*cking ghetto! I came to watch my skins lose, I literally sat at the bar for 35 minutes, no bartender, no waiter, no manager, no one at all said anything. We are sitting at the bar, the bar where the bartenders walk back and forth past us whilst serving other patrons. So I went and spoke to not one but both managers on duty, one came over did absolutely nothing. We sat for another 15 minutes, I go get another manager who also does absolutely nothing. If I could give no star I would. I had the WORST experience in my life and will NOT be returning. I arrived at about 10:30 pm yesterday for a friends birthday it was about 15 of us in the group. We were in the bar area and had been there for about 1 hour without a greeting, water or just about anything from the staff. I went up to the bar and sat there for 30 mins and the bar staff completely ignored me from both sides of the bar. We asked the bar staff if someone could come to our table at least 4 different times....still nothing. Ended up calling the manager over he moved our entire table and STILL the service was poor. Food came out ice cold, drinks were made wrong, managers very unapologetic, and they still wanted us to pay for it. This is flat out ridiculous and honestly disappointing. They are solid. It gets a bit crowded due to the location of the beltway. Parking is solid. Food is ok. Drinks are always good and well liquored up..lol You will have to deal with the constant smell of weed periodically sweeping bye. Sometimes it's delightful, other times it's straight skunk so it's a bit annoying. All and all it's a cool place for the kids, just dip out before it gets too dark and the older heads come in.. This place was terrible. Came here for for a birthday party for two kids. I bought tickets ($6 each) for virtual reality experience. They told me it didn't/wouldn't open until 2:00PM. I waited 30min with my son. When I asked if the "experience could be free or discounted" the answer was a flat "no". There was no apology, no thank you for being patient or waiting. In fact, it was the GM that said "no". Clearly he has no regard for customer service or the experience he gives his customers. I'm waiting for the check and this is taking forever too! I've been able to write, revise and edit this post three times over (15min). I'd drive an hour out of the way and go to another D&B just to avoid this place. I'm over it. Not sure why there are so many negative reviews of this Dave and Busters but we had a great time. Our server Ashlee and all the bartenders were amazing and very fast and friendly. We had some long islands, margaritas, shots and our favorite was the watermelon margarita with watermelon ice cubes. The food was great too, especially the flatbread pizza. The game and bar area were very clean. The Virtual Reality Jurassic park game was so much fun too. read more

I was there last week and will NEVER return. It took literally 15 minutes for anyone to greet us. Tables are left dirty, menus are FILTHY, there are gnats everywhere. Not only was this place beyond dirty the employees acted as if they did not want to do their job. To put the icing on the cake..or should I say the lid on this dupster of a place; to my suprise I recognized a familiar face. This unwelcoming face was the old manager William from a restaurant I used to frequent but also stopped going due to his rudeness, unprofessional demeanor and most importantly his incapacity to perform his basic duties as a manager. If D&B thought this new addition would improve the quality of service and experience at this location...THEY WERE DEAD WRONG. It is purely shameful..this place has so much potential...IF ANYONE CARED. We had the expectation that we would be able to watch the closing Saturday of NCAA basketball, grab some food, a few drinks, and have some fun while celebrating a birthday. This is all we asked for in a venue. Don't come to Dave & Buster's in Capitol Heights until their corporate owners restructure, retrain, and likely hire new staff. Saturday afternoon showed that not enough staff, lack of a regular maintenance program on these heavily used games, and high tensions among patrons who expect the same quality of service they receive in other jurisdictions to be provided here. I'm really unsure of how to best describe this D&B location. I've been twice and had different experiences each visit. The first time they were carding at the door on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. Weird! Another time I got in without issue and my husband, son and I all had a great time playing games. This was on a Wednesday evening. We dined in and the food was good, service was great, no issues. I ordered the lobster linguini with steak and shrimp. It was so good! I haven't been back since though because I'm not sure of what my experience will be like. I will go again and my hope is that they've developed some type of consistency in the way this location is run. I'll update my review when I do. read more

Been to this spot 3x. Once on the grand opening (hot mess), once just because (ghetto) and today (unsupervised and lack of customer service)... And from beginning to now service has been horrible. I only went today because I was waiting at the Honda dealership for my car and got hungry... When I went I was greeted by a very polite young woman that gave me hope, but that promise of great customer service soon dwindled. There were NO other workers in sight as kids ran around crazy and uncontrolled, climbing on games and even in the billards and bar area, which is suppposed to be adults only! There was no workers on the floor. In the entire building I saw 3, maybe 4 workers! The young lady at the front, the bartender, a young lady cashing in the kids tickets and giving prizes out, and a dude sitting out front on what to seem to be his smoke break. Now granted, maybe Mondays are a bit slow but there were at least 40 kids in there so i think there should've been a few more workers! And the workers that were there we're all at designated areas so there was no floor supervision what so ever! Kids were trying to order bar drinks! It was mayham. I know a lot of that is also on the chaperones that were there with the kids but i think if the floor had more workers, the situation could've been better controlled. I just think this location needs some customer service classes and better management! Other than that, the food is ok for bar food... Asian Nachos are so darn good with the tropical red bull smoothie! The cheese curds were basic and the coke tasted like diet pepsi! However the facilty is kept really clean and all the games are in working order...the friendliness of the greeter and the bartender was my only reason for the 2 stars. Please do better! After asking twice to take our order, 32 minutes of waiting and still haven't placed an order yet. Restaurant at 50% capacity so it's definitely not the workload or the kitchen. Most of all employees were standing in groups talking or on their phones. The ones who were not looked like they were hung over. 36 min before I had to ask the bus boy to help us order -- food was average and the beer was not what I ordered. Finally asked for a manager and she said I should have pre-ordered using the QR code. I'm normally a decent tipper, and I understand the state of the economy as it stands. Im very happy that Dave and Busters are in PG which means I will frequent this location than Arundel Mills. Im glad more cool places are popping up around PG county. The first week for me was a bummer. I couldn't find parking and the lines were wrapped around the building. I came back this past weekend and it wasn't too bad. I was able to find parking within the first 5 minutes! Door greeter was nice, as my friends and I go in, the bar was packed! Jam packed! We wanted to sit and the bar to unwind but it wasn't happening.So eventualy I placed my drink orders and had a few jello shots. Those were so good! I had a purple glo in dark drink as a tribute to Prince. I forgot to snap ): sorry! that drink was good! Expensive but good! Then we ventured off into the game area. Game area was really nicely decorated and a little dark with neon lights all around. They had arcade classics, skee ball, basketball ( if you a shawty like me forget it, candy crush and more. The also had pool tables. I kicked @ here. As for customer service,its okay, they are still new but deliver good but slow service. I do believe that they need more help.
