Went here yesterday and the wait for our food was ridiculous!!! Just for our drinks we waited about 30 minutes then when they came out all of the sweet teas tasted like dark water. We waited hours for our food but I will say when my street tacos came they were quite delicious. I could only eat two because by the time they came my stomach already filled itself with gas. Food is mediocre at best and it takes a ridiculous amount of time for you to get your cold dry old wings and lettuce wrap. Makes a literal NO SENSE. Our waitress might as well had not existed no water refills no removing of dishes, we didn't even get silverware. Then on top of the horrible food experience when a game I played was broken I wanted 20 mins(which is a ridiculous amount of time) after notifying the people for someone to come fix it or give me my money back all to no avail. First off , the machines ( every single one ) are faulty in their own way . They either don't read the power cards correctly , don't read them at all , lag , and / or show the wrong thing on screen . Most of the shooters are missing a gun , don't work , or take my credits but don't let me play . Moving onto the food . In the words of Gordon Ramsey " BLAND " ! Waited 30 mins... made eye contact with multiple employees... told hostess we were there to eat and was told to sit anywhere. He seemed slightly annoyed to begin with but I understand people have bad days. A long haired blonde waitress passed a few times along with other employees but nobody greeted us, spoke or was available. It was completely empty at 8 on a Thursday night but we couldn't get service. It was infuriating but I was going to keep trying until my 9 yr old decided we were leaving. Absolutely the worst service I've experienced in SC. I waiting 10mins before anyone came to my table. And the waiter who came told me she too busy to stop by our table. When I told her it wasn't my fault they are busy she left and ask another waiter to serve my table. We waited a full hour to get our food. When I did get my ceaser salad it was all dressing and little salad. Not to mentioned they got my 4 year old order wrong and took another 30mins to get his food out. I'm not one to ever review products or anything for that matter, but felt obligated to alert my fellow neighbors about this place: THE WORST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. I sat down 50 minutes ago and still no drinks. Didn't see a soul after sitting down for nearly 30 minutes. My son's food just arrived, but mine didn't and still no drinks. I'll circle back in an hour or so when my drinks arrive! EDIT: FOOD ARRIVED AFTER 1 hour and 1 minute. Drinks were about 55 minutes. Also worth noting, we were charged for multiple games that weren't working. In one case, an employee said he check into it and asked to "wait right there", but he hadn't returned after 5 minutes, so we moved on. Honestly, I would say this place won't last 6 more months, if this is there normal mode of business. read more

I hate to be the person to leave a bad review, but I feel like my experience definitely warrants it. DO NOT GET FOOD HERE. The service can be slow, and I get that, but today it was egregious. We waited 40 minutes for drinks, another 40 for our food, and another 40 for the bill. We spent so long on dining (over 2 hours) we didn't have time to play games. I understand there were large parties, but I've been a server before. There's ways to handle this stuff and also engage with the customer. Haven't had a bad restaurant experience in years, and this one took the cake. Can't believe how slow and impersonal it was. I've had to lower my rating of this D&B. The food is really unhealthy and fried. Although most people go here for the games, the dining situation is pretty bad. The games are fun for both adults and kids. Overall, I am not sure if I will return to this location. The D&B in Greenville has much a much better management team, because everything works flawlessly at that location. Even the food tastes better at the Greenville location. read more

Great games and the girls had fun with everything and I spent about $40 on games and yeah, they used my card up too! Lol. On Tuesday, December 19th, we had our team Christmas party here. I was initially working with Nichelle to get this done, and then I no longer heard from her. This was no big deal. Closer to the date, there was another young lady on the date who took great care of our party. It was a total of 20 of us. We had a private room. Our menu was Salmon, chicken breast, mac and cheese, greek salad, veggies, and rolls and it was simply delicious. I heard no complaints from anyone on this. It was a little busy in there, but it was a nice experience with this establishment and we will keep them in mind for our next outing as a team. It's obvious and apparent that they lack structure and quality leadership among their ranks. 30 plus minute wait times...layered on top of the 15-25 minute initial wait time is completely unacceptable. The insane part about it is that the management is aware, and blatantly ignore it. Smh. Pitiful. I hope corporate comes down there to do a revamp to management team. We took my son to Dave and Buster's for his 10th birthday. We ate dinner first, and the food was DELICIOUS, but pretty pricey! I give the food . We then we played games which were a lot of fun! Many of the games would award you tickets that could be redeemed for items/gifts. They actually had nice stuff in their gift redemption "Shop" (in comparison of previous shops in which I have been) and all 5 of our kids got something that's useful, memorable, or candy! We then started playing the games which you must purchase a power card to keep track of your tokens to use to play games and you're tickets that you win from playing the games which have a ticket reward system. From start to finish, we had a party of seven, and we arrived around 4:30 pm (had to wait approximately 25 minutes to be seated) and we ate and played till 9:15-9:30. To put it nicely, this restaurant is the adult version of Chunky Cheese (even though the nearby Chunky Cheese has a higher Yelp rating than this place). On to the mediocre food. We did not have high expectations to start but it was really, really bad. We had the spinach and cheese dip for our appetizer. It was greasy and too salty. The chips had grease on them but they were not fresh or hot. The cleanliness of the dining area (not the self-seating area) was poor. The table next to ours drink order was late or mixed up so the manager came over and apologized to them as well as provided them with a free appetizer. Meanwhile, we're still waiting for our entrées nearly an hour after after being seated. Finally, after an hour+ our waitress said they were having system problems and our food order was not put in until a few moments prior...If it were not for my children exclaiming they still wanted to play games I would have left. By now, the waitress should have had the manager come to our table, I should not (and I did not) need to ask for one. Once our food arrived she forgot to substitute fries for onion rings. It took another 20 minutes for the onion rings to arrive which were saturated in grease and over cooked. This place just opened and it is by far the worst chain restaurant I've been to in South Carolina. If I could give this restaurant a negative star rating (like -5) I would. read more

It has been years since my last visit to a Dave and Busters. I had a bad experience with the chain in Atlanta so I was hesitant to try this one. I am thrilled my kids talked me into trying it again. Rebecca at the desk was amazing. She patiently answered the questions of 4 excited girls at one time with a smile on her face. She ensured I got the absolute best deal. Beer and arcade games all in the same place?! This must be Heaven for adults! I'm been so excited and waiting for this Dave & Buster's to open ever since they announced it last year. I'm a huge nerd for video games so I dragged one of my friends out to come to their grand opening today. They're located in Columbiana Mall near the Food Court and Belk. Outside the door were employees handing out $5 Power Cards to everyone who came in since it was their opening day. Inside, I'm instantly reminded of a casino because you see the flashing lights and sounds in the background. My friend and I decided to try out their restaurant out first for a drink. The restaurant has a central oval bar that you can sit it and it's surrounded by TVs showing different sports games. It was around 5 and they were pretty busy, but not packed. Luckily we were sat down in the dining area without a wait. Our waitress was awesome!!! I wish I could remember her name, but she was funny and kept it real. We talked about how busy they were, the crowds, beer, and random stuff. For their drink specials, they have $2.50 Domestic Pints, $1 Off 22 oz Drafts, $1 Off Glasses of Wine, and $3 Off Bottles of Wine for their happy hour from 4-7:30. I ordered the Blue Moon Belgium White beer on draft and was a fan. It's a light beer and not that strong flavored. For food, my friend and I shared the lotsa tater tots because from the name, it seemed like it would be a lot of food. However, it was like maybe 20 tater tots. I liked it, but wish it was a larger portion. The Arcade: They have a large variety of games! I would say the majority of them are ticket games that you can play to exchange for prizes. There were games that include: Deal or no deal, Monopoly, Flaming Finger, Yahtzee, Flappy Bird, Candy Crush, Fruit Ninja, etc. The prizes that they had were pretty legit. Their big top prizes include large stuffed animals, a Fitbit, drones, a PS4, and an apple watch. Moreover, they have the classic arcade games like Skee-ball, Basketball, Cyclone, and Pac-man. For adventure seekers, they have a lot of driving and shooting games like Star Wars and Batman. My favorite game was this 4-person air-hockey game that uses multiple pucks at the same time. Overall, I LOVE this Dave & Buster's! I definitely had a good time and I think it's on par with the ones I've seen in bigger cities. It's not a bad idea to get a drink at the bar, get a little disinhibited, and hit the arcade. They just opened so probably a good idea to come before 7 to beat the crowds. If you love the arcade, on Wednesdays, their games are all half off! I'll be back for sure with more friends soon. read more

This was my worst experience I have ever had at a Dave and Busters. We ordered drinks and they forgot them. We were told they thought someone else made them. They lost our credit card and thought they gave it back. We ordered food and they only put in half the order. As it was closing time they couldn't do anything about it and I got the sorry about your luck speech. I could of forgiven part of this if they were busy but that was not the case. I would of spoken to a manager but this place gave no cares. I will never be back unless all other places closed. You can save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

This is an excellent addition to this area...this "Dave & Busters" is i think smaller then the one at Concord Mills mall in Charlotte NC. And this one has all the arcades, food, drinks and eateries, but it does not have bowling alleys. I take it for this area, their are always crowded, so again pick your times to come and enjoy yourselves with family. It is very kid friendly, tons of arcades and games... The food was excellent what we had. The wait time was less than ten minutes, due to the amount of people. The staff was very coordinated when you placed your orders and keeping up with what you ordered. And we will be back, thanks "Dave & Busters" we really enjoyed ourselves!!! We waited over 30 minutes for our appetizer. Each item on the menu comes with a picture. The nachos are heaping with toppings in the photo but came out as below. The pretzel did not come out with the advertised beer cheese. After an additional 25 minutes, they finally delivered queso instead, which would have been passable except that it was served cold. We finally gave up and cancelled our entree orders after waiting over an hour with no end in sight. Drinks were not refilled. Server was rarely present. read more

This is my first time at this location and I am from out of town. We sat at the bar and waited almost 30 minutes to have a bartender even acknowledge us. We closed out went to the front to request a table, waited another 30 minutes to get a server and then it took him 20 minutes to bring my drink. What a joke, I will never ever come here again. The ordering process of scanning the QR code and ordering food/drinks on the "app" is a pain. We then waited 25mins and got our food before our one beer...mentioned it to a manager walking by and another 10mins and still nothing. Finally got it after we were done with our food lol. The games were great. Unlike previous experiences at other locations, the games all worked. The bar service on the other hand is the most mismanaged thing I've ever seen in my life. I have watched the 1 bartender who is not only serving bar patrons but the people standing have to go to the kitchen to get extra mixers. I'm eating 20+ minutes for ONE BEER!!! Beyond sad!! Now I need to close my tab... guess what? Another 20 minutes. The manager is doing jack shit! Prefacing this by saying that I have been to this D&B location 10+ times and am writing my experience as a collective whole, rather than one or two particular instances. If my experience was based only on the entertainment aspect of D&B, this review would be 4-5 stars. The pricing is a little steep for the games, but they make up for that in 1/2 priced Wednesdays and frequent coupons/promotions. The prizes are standard arcade prizes in most cases, but also have some pretty legit options if you save up your tickets for a while. So if you're going exclusively to play, I'd definitely recommend. As a restaurant and bar, D&B is far below competent. The drinks, while usually well-made, take WAY too long to receive. I almost always sit at the bar, and many times it is not super busy (I usually go during non-peak times), but the bartenders usually take 5-10 minutes to even acknowledge my existence and can never seem to get drinks out in a timely manner. I don't think I've ever gotten a drink sooner than 15 minutes after I order it, which is pretty ridiculous. The food is absolutely sub-par. I've had maybe one or two experiences that I felt were actually decent, where my meal was not drenched in grease, cold, made incorrectly, or just straight up low-quality product. Oh, and it also takes insanely long to receive food after your order. I'd say average 45 minutes to an hour, even for simple, seemingly easy items. I think a small percentage of this less-than-desirable food service experience is due to kitchen staff incompetence, but the majority of it is servers/bartenders either not paying attention to what you're saying when you order or not paying attention to how much time has passed and realizing the food has been sitting in the back waiting to be brought out for half an hour. My advice? Go eat dinner and have drinks somewhere else, then come to D&B to play games. read more

Had a great time with the Man and the kids. We went on a Saturday and decided to stay all day and just have fun. We played quite a few games and didn't have an issue with any of them. We saw an ad saying unlimited games so we decided to take advantage of that. The only thing with unlimited games is there is a time limit from the last swipe of the card. This was unknown to us and trying to use one card to have two kids play the same game together was very frustrating. Once we found this out we had to just deal with it. We got a table to eat some lunch. The kids got chicken tenders...no complaints there. The man and I split an appetizer plate that included 5 Buffalo wings with Ranch dressing, 5 chicken quesadilla wedges with salsa, 5 pretzel dogs with smoky sweet-heat sauce, 5 pepperoni pretzel pull-apart pieces, and loaded tots. The tots were AMAZING. Even cold (they got cold when we left hem to play games. They came out hot). The food was pretty dang good. We asked if we could keep the table to play games and come back to eat for dinner. The server was nice and agreed. We came back to snack and whatnot but the kids started asking about going home and we knew it was naptime. We decided to have them eat their leftovers for dinner and cashed out. I came here about a year ago for a Yelp event and loved it; however, I returned last week with a couple of friends and was not impressed. We were quickly seated which was nice, but our waitress was not very attentive after initial introductions. There was a table next to us that had leftover food from the previous group and it remained uncleaned for OVER an hour. That's really bad and frankly gross. After I noticed that, I started looking around and realized there were about 5 additional tables with leftover food from parties that had left and they also remained uncleaned for over 30 minutes before someone finally cleaned them. It was not packed and there were several servers so I'm not sure why all these tables were left dirty. read more
