Having the best time at this new dave and busters! Everything was super clean and everyone was friendly!

We went to Dave & Buster's at the spur of the moment Date Night. We were seated immediately, however the wait for a server was at least 30 minutes. We waited another 30 to get drinks and orders to be taken. We talked and laugh so much we thought we had ate and was ready to go before my date said, "Where is our food?" Clearly I only ordered the Thai Chicken Superfood Chopped salad. It was awesome by the way, but could not finish the salad from the 'Air food' waiting on the food. Oh, mind you, refills were unheard of. My date had the steak with Lobster sauce, garlic mash potatoes with 3 bacon wrapped shrimp. He was disgusted by the portion...lol. I had to laugh because I thought we were surely being Punked. He asked for the manager but it took Tim so long to come, I said just eat and know what not to order next time. Ththe steak was tough...smh. Tim, the manager offered to prepare another steak but JR, was so frustrated, he said, and wait another hour? No thanks. Corey the server, stretched right over JR's plate as he was still trying to eat to give me carry out container. Unbelievable, never said, excuse, I apologize or anything. What a Friday night experience- but never again for awhile. The food again was 'on point' with taste but that steak dinner, my grand daughter could of finished meal without inquiries. I had to convince JR to leave a tip, he did a $1.00. Ok, so It took several days for Cooperate office and I to connect but they were apologetic and promise to send gift certificates. The service was so SLOW, the food wasn't good and we had to almost beg for ranch, ketchup and silverware. In addition, the tables were not being bussed. Thank goodness Daniel stopped by and helped us. We weren't even his table. And it was our daughters birthday. They did knock $20 off our bill but we probably will not be back. Firstly, this place is not clean. For it to be a place where people play games mostly the eating area is not clean. It smelt funny in general. We went there because we had been traveling and thought it would be fun. The I waitress we had was either new or did not know what she was doing. Food was pretty good, but the men's restroom was completely covered in urine. One toilet was filled to the brim, two others had the seat coated with it, the walls had sprays of urine on them. The sinks were full of something that was pink, it was a different color than the soap so I have no idea what that was. read more

They don't take reservations so we showed up with 50+ people. One waitress was assigned to us. This poor woman was left to deal with over 50 people. Poor management!!!! Dave and Buster's is totes fun! To be fair... I haven't really eaten a lot of the food but the food I have eaten was pretty good for bar type food. I'm not expecting fine dining so I'm cool with the casual chicken fingers, sandwich, or nachos kind of thing. The drinks are pretty good too and there are some fun cocktails. The service has been stretched pretty thin sometimes so there has been a bit of a wait but overall it was ok. We mostly go for the games! Definitely sign up to receive emails because I get tons of discounts to load up game cards. My favorite game to play is Black Out. It's fun, overall pretty easy but I still can't get 100%, and you get a ton of tickets from it. There are other fun games too. The Kung Fu Panda game is definitely an opportunity to catch a friend on a funny video. The staff in the prizes area has always been super kind. The first time we went I saw a blue llama that I wanted. When we returned there was only and orange one on the shelf. I asked the gentleman that was working and he got more from the back and handed me the blue one directly. Dolly Llama now lives at our house. I really enjoy going to play games and have some fun at D&B. Can't wait to go back again! read more

Waited 2.5 hours for a table to wait 10 minutes for our waitress to come to the table the first time. Had to get our drinks from the bar ourselves. Waited over an hour for cold, overcooked food. Had to get silverware from the bar in order to eat. Saw our waitress twice during the time we waited for the food. Waitress never checked on us after food arrived. This was the first time I've actually eaten at Dave & Busters. There seemed to be a decent amount of patrons, so they get some business. It took awhile (45 minutes) to get our food. Much to their advantage, there is plenty of entertainment to keep our minds occupied while our food is being prepared. The service was a bit busy in that they ordered your food, served it, and then walked away; nothing really personable. The background noise was very noisy, obviously because it was attached to the arcade. So nothing too surprising if you're coming here for dinner. After eating, we went to play some arcade games. The process was pretty simple. You go to the machines and pay into a card, swipe your card and whatever machine you wanted, and the tickets were loaded onto your card. Simple enough. The gift store didn't seem to have many interesting things worth redeeming, but because you spent money to earn tickets, you'll end up spending whatever tickets you have just so you don't have to waste them. Overall, it was okay. Nothing great. It wasn't the best restaurant and it wasn't the best arcade, but being that it's both put in one, it was okay. read more

Sooo! My family and I went to D$B in Columbia Sc. And the place over all was ok but we have to wait for 1hr for a table so will we wait we play some games. By the the games very expensive. So when it was time to get our table I count he'll to notice how many empty tables were there. So makes me ask my self why the wait?. Although the games are fun and the food is good, the customer service is not good AT ALL! First, the waitresses barley come to check on you since it is "order online" and second, they all walk around with air pods in meaning they aren't actually listening. I haven't seen one worker that looks happy to be there. Lastly, I asked my waiter not to clean off my table due to still having food and drinks on it that I planned on going to later after playing games. I also mentioned this to two other workers. One being the one that cleans off tables. They made me pay the tab, which is understandable, but that did not mean throw away the things I have paid for. The server had to take my philly cheesesteak back twice and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted fresh onions and peppers on the side or the original! Warning: Don't ever go to this place on a Saturday. Can't speak for the rest of the week but I went for the first time for a friend's birthday and apparently they were short staffed when we went because everything took forever. It took two hours for a table..yep, two hours..not even kidding or exaggerating. We sat at the bar during our wait and I know the bartenders were doing all they could considering how short they were but I think it would have benefited them tremendously if they would have tried to focus on making one groups drinks at a time, instead of taking our drink orders then going to the next people and asking for theirs and so on. The bartender kept forgetting what we asked for and kept having to return, it took forever to get our drinks. The biggest issue I had was with the customer service once we got to our table. Maybe our waitress was new and a little intimidated by waiting on a group of people, she took forever to come back to take all of our orders. The group sitting behind us stated that they had been waiting for a very long time as well, and they were not pleased at all. I even saw one lady get up to try and find the waitress in order to pay for her meal so that they could leave. We waited so long that we eventually had to get the manager to help us and he quickly brought our drinks to the table and took all our food orders promptly. In my opinion, Dave & Busters is basically a Chucky Cheese for teenagers. They advertise it as a place for adults but the only thing that makes it such is them serving drinks with a splash of alcohol for ridiculous prices. I certainly didn't expect to see so many kids still running around in there after 11pm. And our waitress informed us that we weren't allowed to have another alcoholic beverage until we finish the ones we already had at our table. We were all very confused by that. Additionally, after everyone paid and the waitress came back with our receipts, she just stood there holding everyone's cards like a deer caught in headlights instead of simply asking who's card was who's. Finally someone at our party just took the cards from her and started giving them back to everyone. She stated that she didn't look at people's debit cards. WTF? Bottom line is this isn't a place i would visit again unless I'm invited to another event. Definitely not a place for a single person without kids to mingle. Visited this Dave a busters during a night out for my girlfriends birthday and was very disappointed. The games were fun but some of the games ate our money off of our cards and didn't let us play because they were broken. We decided to sit down to have a bit to eat and it didn't take long for us to realize it was a mistake. The server was okay but she literally only came to our table 2 times. We ordered food but one in our party told her that she'd need a few minutes before she was ready to order. We're all servers so we're extra patient with servers when we go anywhere because we get how it is. Our server didn't come back until about 10 min after our food came out. We asked to talk to the manager because the food was very subpar and we weren't getting good service. All these little things weren't that big of a deal but the real problem was when the manager came over. He came over and asked us if we needed drink refills and after we responded "no" and proceeded to tell him why we were disappointed he began to WALK AWAY. Literally walking away in the middle of us talking to him. After we told him what was wrong he just asked my girlfriend "well did you want to order now?" She said "no, I just want this food (we got three apps and only asked to take one off) taken off." At this point, we were fed up and just wanted to leave. We don't want to order anything else, we just wanted him to understand why we were upset. I am a manager at my job and I guess maybe next time I'll try just walking away when customers are talking to me! Came here for dinner and games with my husband. Or at least we tried. We went to be seated and were told it was seat yourself. After finding a table that was clean with menus, we waited. Janice was our "server" that only got around to serving us water and tea. We told her it had been awhile since we had been to a D&B but we knew the jist of everything. The menu is massive. So massive that coming back in 5 minutes wasn't enough time. After we said we needed a couple more minutes she disappeared... Forever. After 20 minutes we let another server know we were ready to order and that our server was missing, she said, "ok" and walked off. After a few more minutes the second server had walked past us a few times and didn't acknowledge us again. So we left. Both my husband and I are pretty pissed. This was going to be our date day and we had saved for it. This D&B will never get our money. read more

Very bad buisness! 1hr wait until table, which I can understand being a Saturday afternoon. After sitting we order our food fairly quickly. Thats when it became unacceptable. Three of us at the table and first plate arrived 30min after ordering. We then received another plate 20mins later and then the last plate another 20min. So as a family we did not eat together. The last order was wrong but kept it to avoid the wait. We actually received the bill after the first plate. That was a first..I will say the waitress was doing the best she could. She was covering to large of an area by herself. Tired of hearing short staff, if you cant accommodate, then limit the amount of customers. I went to Dave & Buster's to celebrate my birthday with my family. We wanted a family friendly atmosphere where children could eat, play and have a fun time. I was told our wait time would be 30-45 minutes. However, we waited an hour and 15 minutes. After being seated, it took an hour to get our food. One person in our party did not get her food and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. Dinner took almost 2 hours. After being there for over 3 hours just to eat dinner, there was little time left to play the games. We played a few games and left. The service was ridiculously slow. I've never waited so long to eat dinner. If I go back, I'll eat elsewhere and just play games. This is the second time our service was slow and terrible. On a positive note, the manager is a nice man who seems overwhelmed, and the salmon is delicious! The games are a lot of fun. read more

Needless to say, the workforce is incompetent. The establishment is poorly managed. Let me go into detail about my visit here today. TLDR: Spent 40 minutes in Dave and Buster's, played no games got no food. Dave and Buster's shouldn't offer a promotion they aren't properly able to deliver. My family and I wanted to enjoy their thursday special to celebrate the end of the school year and that I had to go out of town for two weeks for training. Walked into the first desk, asked about the special and we were told we had to go to the dining host desk. Alright, I guess we'll head over there. Dining host is nowhere to be seen, waiting for several minutes before a server informs us the host will be there shortly. Host finally arrives. Informs us that there will be a 15-20 minute wait. Peering into the nearly vacant dining area, the host then informs us that they are short on servers. We ask "Well then can we get the game cards first then since we have such a long wait?". Host replies "Yes, just go back to the first desk and let them know". Ok, yay! So back to the first desk. We present ourselves back to the first desk. After asking about being able to play while waiting for our table, we are informed that we can only get our cards after we eat. Needless to say we aren't happy, we inform her that the host just told us we could. She radios a manager and walks off. She comes back rings up some cards and such and says "You can have a seat in the bar, a server will be with you shortly." Ok.... So we go to the bar find a table and sit down. Then rudely the host comes up to us and asks if we received a text about a table being ready. We say yes but we were told to sit here in the bar area. She then tells us we have to return to the host desk. So we all get up and head to the host desk. Then without saying a word she leads us back to the bar area and seats us at a table. Waiting for a server to take our order we wait another 10 minutes. Our server finally arrives, not to take our order, or our drink order, but to deliver wings that we haven't ordered yet. At this point, I couldn't take the incompetence anymore and walked out. read more

The best thing i can say about this place is the beer was good and they have a lot of games to play. The unlimited wings with unlimited video card is a great deal for $20 but the wings are ok and the fries were not hot when they came out. And they give you like 6 baby wings at a time. We also ordered the green Chile steak nachos which didn't look anything like the picture and were extremely dry and the steak is the same type they use on Philly cheesesteaks and was not good at all. My mother in laws chicken tortilla soup had a hair in it. I should have known to just leave right then and there or should have noticed why they had so many tables empty. I will NEVER eat here again. I rather go to Red Robin next door. I should have known better when I saw the 2.5 yelp rating but we came for my nephews Birthday and I was hungry. read more

I am here visiting for spring break and upon entering we were not aware of the specials. We asked the young lady at the front desk and she was not aware. Our waiter, Cowboy, asked us about our play cards and mention about the eat and play game card, which is what we initially asked about when we first entered. They were even sitting at the bar. Frankie's Fun Park and Chuck E. Cheese are minutes from this location. Couldn't they have gone there? I love Dave & Buster's so I wanted to have a fun night and came here. This Dave & Buster's isn't as big as the ones I'm use to and they didn't have a lot of games to select from. Everything was the same game, but with a different name. When I first got here, we sat down for food and drinks. For it to be barely anyone there Friday night, it took 15 minutes for our drinks and an hour for our food. You would've thought we order something extravagant, but I order chicken tenders and my other half order chicken wings. The kitchen, bartenders and waiters need to do a lot better and I would say they also need to add some games. read more

I am visiting from out of town and waited for my food only to have to wait to get confirmation number ..we had to go to bar to get something to drink so that explains how long we wait for our food and drinks .
